This is a budget hotel so rating based on same. The rooms clean but strong smell of old cigarette smoke permanating throughout the place. Not allowed to smoke in rooms but guests smoke outside their doors and it creeps into your room. It's pet friendly so if air is off or low you can smell urine and dog in general. My hair and skin smelled like cigarette smoke after I left. People need to be honest in their reviews. There appears to be a clientele of smokers vapors and weed smokers etc who stay here. .

No internet during the evening and night, called front desk 3 times, no answer. Room had broken toilet lid, tissue holder in bathroom was found behind door/ Would not return to stay here again

I booked a superior king bed room for two nights. When I got there to check in around 6:00, I was informed that there would not be a superior room available at night. The cleaning staff was shorthanded. So I accepted a regular room. The next morning, I left for the day and returned around 7:00. I happened to stop into the office to discuss what the rates were going to be since I didn’t get a superior room. While I was waiting a lady came in to complain that her room wasn’t cleaned and somebody’s stuff was in there. When she told the manager her room number, I commented that was my room number. The manager said no I was in another room. Someone had reassigned me to another room without telling me. The three of us settled on me keeping the room I was in. I mentioned that I expected an adjustment for paying for a superior room and not getting it. The next morning I checked out and looked at my bill. No adjustment. It still showed a superior room for one night and a regular room for one night. The total charges just happened to be exactly what I prepaid for two nights in a superior room. I confirmed that there is a price difference between the rooms. I did not stay in a superior room either night. I have not seen an adjustment or credit yet. It may be small, but I don’t like paying for one thing and getting another.

Great location and great safe

It took 3 different tries to get a room that didn't smell of smoke even though all rooms were non smoking. I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again nor any other place with outside entrance's. People were smoking everywhere and everything and getting pulled in by the air conditioning.

Old and out of date. Staff was lounging around the office and some were very unkempt, even gross. First room they gave me was heavily smoked and the water in the sink and bathtub came out VERY rusty. Next room just ok. TV controls very slow/cumbersom.

Did not stay and are still billing me anyway, while it was my fault that I had left my ID at home on my desk. They had to have a physical copy and no workaround for me and my cat was allowed. I had to get a last-minute over at Baymont to accommodate my issue of no play to stay after driving more than 5 hours for my personal pto plans. Will be seeing what the bank can do.

The only thing that bothered me was no remote control for TV band tv wouldn't turn on plus I was talking quietly to a couple of my friends in the parking lot and staff come out and told us to leave even tho I had a room and called the police

The staff at the red roof on the west side location was nothing but amazing!!!! I appreciate their value of taking care of the people in which they are providing a service too.

Was good for a short stay

They told us after we made reservation, they had no rooms. then came to our car door telling us they did have a room. After already canceling our room in the first place. They gave us a room that a hole in curtain and safety latch was broken. I think that was needed because nefarious folk were roaming around.

Gave away my room without even lettting me get there

Horrible experience. Even after prepaying for my reservation they gave my room to someone else. Person working the desk couldn’t have cared less.

I wish they had the option of short stays. I only needed the room for a couple of hours. The room was clean and smelled fresh.

First time tracing alone! Very nice people there. Only thing that I could say I didn’t care for was there were kids outside playing that were a bit loud! However they were just having fun :) not causing any trouble!

It met the requirements of a quick overnight stay. No frills. Bit disappointed in the stains on the bedding.

There were cigarette butts stuffed in the sink of a non smoking room. Staff moved me twice and each room reaked of smoke. I requested a partial refund for the room I found the cigarettes in but the manager was never on the property and is ignored my email. I would not stay here unless you are a chain smoker because even the non smoking rooms are smoking rooms.

The windows were nasty and as soon as we entered there was a musty smell of old cigarettes and weed that would not leave. Did the job tho, no bed bugs.

Never got to rent this room was turned away by front desk stating. No availability. The woman was very rude and frustrated with overbooking

Check in was ok, I arrived way later then planned and was told the only reason I got a room was because I needed a handicap room and that I should call and let them know next time (which was my bad). room was ok but stains on the bedding and things could be updated. LOTS of noise from people and had a random woman come up to us saying they made her change rooms and then stole stuff and that no one was in the office. People revving their engines and people yelling. I would not stay here again (only reason I felt a little safe was because I had my dog with me)

The staff was friendly and helpful when the room I was assigned had a defective (not working) AC unit.

Overall okay but even though stated a smokeless room. Someone had smoked there. My clothes smell awful and it wasn’t pleasant

It’s in a good place

It is an OK average hotel. I'm average, so I'm OK. Had reserved 2 weeks ahead, but room wasn't ready at 5:30. Toilet seat hinge broken, I reported. Room was cleaned well, but upkeep certainly not perfect. If you want an OK room at a pretty favorable price, this is fine. If you need 5 stars, them pay $200+.

The service was nice. The room on the other hand was a disaster. The bed had filfthy bedding on it. The bathroom you could tell somebody let their dog destroy it. The room in general was nasty and felt so uncomfortable I didnt sleep a wink

I was there for 6 days..no one got my trash or made sure I had trash bags and toilet paper had to go to the office and get it myself other than that it was fine.

This property was awful! The bed sheets and covers haven’t been washed! There was gum and a bunch of pubic hair stuck to it, I asked to switch rooms and she wouldn’t at first … the staff was terrible and didnt care!!! I would really like a refund or something!!!! This was a very awful experience!!!

Red roof in took our money accepted our reservation we drove hours to get to the hotel to check in when the lady says she has no rooms left and I'm out of luck and to call Expedia support. I was without hotel room and money for the night because of this hotels incompetency to call customers who made reservations and give them a heads up and still leave their listings online showing 6+ rooms left.

Was a cheap stay. Room was somewhat clean. The bathroom was rhe worst part. Toliet was not secured. We had the room next to the check in office. Was very loud.
