Large cockroach in the room. Not acceptable

Nice people at the front desk. It looks like the pool is amazing. The room was comfortable. Bathroom was small but a nice updated shower. A couple of bugs joined us. They need to spray for them.

Front desk girl was awful. Never greeted us, I walked in and asked a question and she just sat there and looked at me with a blank stare. They charge $15 per night to park a vehicle. We paid their $10 fee for a cot but it was so uncomfortable, we actually removed the mattress from the cot and placed it on the floor because that was more comfortable than the cot itself. The beds are size double - no point in trying to sleep next to someone on a double. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The site made it appear to be down town LB near the shops and waters edge

Outlets in bathroom did not work for my daughter to blow dry her hair.

Well the women at the front counter told me i was banned from the hotel, i asked her to elaborate on that and she told me there is no manager(s) avaliable, mind you it's 2:30pm on a Thursday. Anyways i was not allowed to stay at Hotel Current so I'm a bit pissed off. I am awaiting a call from a manager named Wayne to explain the reason for my being banned, he only told me as far as he can see in the computer is that i will have to wait for a call from him to iron things out. The only exchange of words i had with any staff was in regarding the ADA lift machine for disabled people which i an one, the machine didn't work(dead battery) so i sarcastically said"well I guess I get a free night at the hotel" and well that didnt go over well with the Hotel Current on staff 6 months ago were not very professional and neither was the maintenance man. I'm too chill to be bothered by such a little thing (but in reality, a huge thing for the law and ADA) as far as it is for disabled folks lije myself. I couldn't get the name of employe. Good room, GREAT bed (slept like a baby). I would stay here again, no issues whatsoever.

First of all this is not a hotel it is a motel the rooms were semi refinished still has that old 80’s style carpeting. The room was really hot when we checked in and it took almost all night with the A/C on high to get it cooled down. The coffee provided is sub par and the sugar and creamer packets were hard as a rock. Had to wait until they dissolved before I could stir it….bare minimum with this company it appears

The staff was friendly, but the you are charged for parking at the hotel, which is odd to me, WiFi didn’t work that great, rooms need a little TLC. The worst part is the bed and the pillows, the bed and pillows were as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.

I found Hotel Current to be wonderful. I was unsure of this hotel having previously lived in Long Beach for years and not being familiar with it. SURPRISE - it was above my expectations. It has clearly been purchased and remodeled and the folks running it are doing a great job. My room was super clean, felt like it had just been furnished with new beds & furniture, painted and cared for. Comfortable bed, great shower, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again - thanks for a great stay!

Never assign an upstairs room to a family with children. I had kids above me and a barking dog next door. We went to the pool for some quiet then several unattended children showed up and were very loud and out of control, turns out they were children of staff, not guests.

This is our go-to property when visiting our daughter in Long Beach. Comfortable room, nice pool and patio area, friendly staff, convenient location to CSU Long Beach, Long Beach airport and dining and shopping options.

The fact that I have to pay for parking is a no no. I've been staying at many hotel, but I never have to pay for parking before.

Loved how quiet the hotel was and super clean

The staff went above and beyond when my daughter left her headphones behind. They were honest and returned them to us right away. It was such a relief. They were also very professional and welcoming throughout our stay. This is a fab place to stay for a 3 star hotel. The pool is gorgeous and the upgrades to the property make it nice to stay there. The only suggestion I have is that they update their A/C units but it didn’t hinder our stay at all. If you’re looking for a 3 star-this place is a great one!

Clean inside the room. Very quiet. Not very comfortable beds. Overall an ok stay, nothing special about it. The alarm clock wasn’t working but I used my phone. The tv channels were working first night but not the second night.

The motel is very dated. I was in a room that had not been updated and I would not recommend it. The WiFi was marginal, there was no conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. Overall the facility is lacking.

Just an overnight in Long Beach to avoid a late night long drive. I was in a room on the second floor at the end of the building. At 2 in the morning multiple women and men stood outside the stairwell, smoking, screaming and yelling at each other. I called the front desk, security failed to quiet them down. I called again nearly an hour later as they only got louder. Nothing was done. The staff failed to reign in the absolutely excessive noise. I complained to the front desk the next morning because i got zero rest. Manager failed to call me as promised. Ive stayed here in the past. Most likely will not again, when the hotel doesn’t care enough to allow its guests to get rest in the middle of the night whats the point? I would NOT recommend.

Check in was friendly, quick, and efficient. Room was spacious and fairly clean. Double beds were comfy but rather small. Preferred Queen size. No towel rods, which was inconvenient. Only 1 towel hook was available. Water pressure and hot water was great. Shower tiles could use a little tilex, but very spacious. Our quick stay was nice and comfortable. Thank you.

This is what my daughter and husband said about their hotel stay. A front desk lady was not friendly, there were hairs left at the shower drain from previous guests. A cigarette burned hole in a comforter on the bed in the non-smoking room. Didn’t feel safe at all due to the hotel doors faces out to the parking lot. Not recommending this hotel.
