Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Customer aervice horrible none of the amenity they say they have are there. They start beating on your door at 10am to check out even qith it saying noon is check out. Even when i spent over $700 for my stay as i knew the name ded lion was a nice place, this is absolutely not. Very very bad. Still have a room for one more night won't refund my money. Very money hungry rude people.

Door lock didnt work, elevator smelt of cigarette smoke every time we got in it. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room or a dresser. But the room was clean and everything worked. People in the area were a little sketchy too.

No ada rooms. Not the cleanest and not many amenities. But what made me the most angry was watching the employee park in the handicap spot while i was about to park there with my wheelchair bound mother. I should have reported it so the employee got the $465 fine for parking in a handicap spot with no placard. Infuriating.

The bed was rock hard, doors were very loud, and they had no breakfast buffet or even continental breakfast. They only offered coffee but no cream or anything else. The shower with a tub and location was the only thing that was nice. The floor was filthy I ended up mopping it with a towel. The curtain fell off and you could see directly into our room. Late check in was helpful. I was also charged $10 more than what I was quoted on hotels.com. If you want good rest and breakfast this place is not for you.

Our room wasn't cleaned properly. The window was left opened and so it was freezing when we got into our room. It was advertised in the hotel with free breakfast, there was a room but no breakfast. I had to ask for extra towels and no cleaning between days. Never will book here again. At least they had a fridge and microwave in the room, but no coffee machine.

Paid for a handicap accessible room when I got there at the hotel wanted me to pay more money to have that room and Hotels.com gave me a hard time when I called to tell them I needed a handicap room

Unfriendly staff, deadbolt on door did not work. Billing paperwork left out on table (desk) for other guests to see. Was actually shown another guests statement. All problems blamed on the fact I booked thru a third party booking site.

This property photos did not at all reflect the pictures on the posting. Breakfast was falsely advertised. Room and overall hotel were extremely dirty and foul smells filled the halls. Numbers on doors were deteriorating, no ice machines available. NOT secure, nothing stopping the general public from roaming around and also only 1 small lock on hotel room doors. Would not recommend. Planned a 2 night stay and ended up canceling a short time after arriving, on day 1. We left in the middle of the evening (10pm) to check into a different hotel, spent less than 1 full hour in the room. Front desk staff did not specify how much they were going to charge before running our card, provided zero paperwork specifying the charges, etc.

Red Lion certainly isn't what it used to be! Will never stay here again. Guy checking us in was nice enough but ugh, bad 1st impression lobby and it didnt get better when we got to our room. Bed was broken, floor was dirty, old & gave a really bad vibe. Not in the best neighbor but was quite except for the constant running water, sounds of a jack hammer but stopped late night. Think it was the fan in the room above us. Would have left but didnt want to lose $157. Do yourself a favor, don't stay here.

It has definitely improved since the first time we stayed, and staff is much friendlier. Next door kind of trashy although close to hospital and community college. Machines in the workout room didn't work well, although at least it's open. A/C worked well, also microwave and fridge. Had plugs for our devices.

The room itself was fairly clean. The beds were clean. Lots of deep cleaning that needs to be done. Stains on walls, floors under beds/ac not swept. Inside hotel was clean.
Parking lot had quite a bit of trash in it. Could use some clean up and it would be even better. 3/5 stars

While clean and newly updated, the space is odd and does not make great use of our large room. Generally poor lighting in stark hues. Worst of all, very uncomfortable mattresses, both the king and the fold-out. The fold out couch had no linens and there were cigarette burns on the 2" thick mattress.

The lock on the door was broken, they took an additional $100 deposit for the room at checkin and there was a used dirty razor left in the shower and black hairs in the bottom of the shower. I had to keep going to the front desk anytime I needed to go into my room because the door lock wouldn’t work to open the door. I’m still waiting on my $100 deposit to be repaid back into my account.

Parking lot was sketchy & felt unsafe. Front desk was make-shift. Hallway smelled musty. Room was clean enough to stay. Staff was pleasant. Police were called in the morning. For pet friendly, there was no place for puppy to potty safely. Will not stay there again.

Old, run down, where ice machine should be, was a bare wall with wires coming out of it, breakfast room was being used for storage, coffee on 2nd floor hallway, was a day old coffeeurn with sugar and a couple of cups, no cream, room fridge did not work. Coffee maker in room with no coffee pouches. Firniture had burn marks on them.

Wish I could give this place a negative score! Beware! Very dirty, front desk staff (male) extremely rude and threatening. No breakfast, was used for storage of some kind. Room stank so bad it was pretty unbearable. Never felt so unsafe both around the property and around the staff.

The first room we got smelled like rotting food or something had died in it, we tried to spray something to help the smell but it only made it worse. When we opened the door to the bathroom a ton of fruit flies came out and started crawling out of the drain/ toilet. We went downstairs and asked for a new room and when we went into the new room we started to think the other room wasn’t cleaned since the room looked more put together and clean.

This was the worst Red Lion I had ever stayed in. Our key cards never worked and there was someone trying to open the door, which made me and my party felt a bit unsafe. This is the first and last time I will spend the night in Everett again.

Advertised breakfast and it was all broken. We stayed there so we could eat before leaving. Service wasn’t great, we had one towel in our room and they made a fuss about giving us more.

Sheets were clean. Shower was good. But description was not a honest representation. It was said to have a breakfast brunch - there was none. The breakfast room was full of boxes. It said it would provide a toothbrush and toothpaste if requested. None was available. A very basic accommodation.

I asked for a handicap room booked well in advance, got a room with a jacuzzi tub which was nice for me but my mom could not safely get in or out of it, no hand rails or anything in the bathroom, she almost fell a couple times. And No Hair dryer and when I called to ask for one the person at desk said I would have to wait for someone else to get there, when we left for the day I asked for them to put a hair dryer in my room! It never happened. I ended up buying one!

This hotel is falling apart. The safety lock reinforcer on the door was coming off of the wall, which was connected to the door trim and that was coming off. The hotel said that breakfast was included with the stay, when we went in for breakfast the room was full of cleaning equipment and storage. I went to the front desk agent and he said that it was under renovation. We were never informed of this during our check in and no other service for breakfast was offered. Would NOT recommend staying here.
