Room was not ready at our check-in so we had to wait until 3:30 pm and they could have invited us to a cup of coffee but this didn’t happen
The receptionist could not speak German fluently
In the room there were a few malfunctioning items: towels holder hanging, one window didn’t close properly and the coffee maker

The gym could do with a few more equipment. Like dumbbells and weights. Pilates ball. These are cheap to get second hand.
The park behind the hotel is very nice.
And I was able to borrow umbrella in the reception which saved the day.

The hotel is very good, you can stay there without any problem, I recommend it! The staff was very friendly, breakfast very good... Just one point for me was not good, as it is a not cheap stay, they must offer coffee/tea in the room and a kettle as courtesy. Another point, the TV is not in front of the bed, it is on the side, in front of the bed there is a big empty wall... so, in my opinion something is wrong in the layout of the room... but it was a good stay, you can find shops near by, free parking on street in front of Hotel.

On arrival to this Hotel the entrance is unkempt. Weeds in flower beds. Staff were nice and helpful. Some lights in the room not working. No kettle. Safe not working. Bathroom door not working. Counters very dirty. Purchased a double room. Got two singles shunted and a single duvet. Good location.

Good location close to the center but still quiet and tucked in by a shaded green area.Good breakfast options.Overall dated structure though, with lack of proper a/c in the rooms as a MAJOR flaw.

We had a two-night stay in the hotel, and the hotel responded to our expectations. Very friendly staff and our wishes were directly reacted. The hotel has already seen decades, and some fresh up would not make any harm (especially the Spa area looks old and not very welcoming, but everything is clean and works). Rooms were lately renovated so they were more cosy and up to date. Breakfast was good (pretty standard: eggs, bread, yoghurt... Especially coffee and juices were in good quality). However, we found 17€ expensive for a standard breakfast. All in all, our stay was very good.

On the Bath Tub, there is no grip holder, by which it was very difficult to stand up and/or get out from Bath Tub unit.

We've stayed here a few times when visiting M-G and always enjoy the experience. This was our first time post-renovation, and I was quite impressed. The rooms are very nicely furnished and decorated. My only wish is that they left the pool open longer for people to use at night. But it's a great location (by the Bunter Garten and super close to the Altstadt and downtown, and an easy walk to the train station. It's also well-priced for the level of hotel. We often stay at air bnbs when we travel, but this was actually a better deal in a better location in M-G.

Hotel was very central for town. Nice big rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovel with plenty of choice. Although didn’t use it, the keisure facilities looked good! Will definitely return!

The staff were great! Lovely breakfast buffet. Our room was clean, with a good amount of storage space and a nicely-sized bathroom. Our shower leaked, but the staff were very quick to attend to it as soon as we let them know, and the windows were lovely and large. Good thing too, as there was no air-conditioning in our room, which meant it got rather hot at night and we needed to have it open! Would stay again.

Really terrible hotel. Air-con centrally switched off even ‘though 29degrees day. Very noisy air vent that I had to block with 2 pillows, no iron and ironing board. Very unhelpful receptionist. Very expensive and poor value for money.

Stayed for Champions league football match. Hotel 10 minute walk from main train and bus station. Early check in given free of charge. Did not use restaurant or spa. Would stay again.

Monchengladbach was our destination for 2 nights to visit friends. Dinner
at a close by old German restaurant called Gaststatte Robertus was very good. Dorint Hotel restaurant is also excellent although a bit pricey. Fridges in 2 rooms we were in (moved for this reason)do not work; otherwise rooms are quite nice.

Room was not great. Gym was ok, but no water available. Location was good. Evening meal was ok, was warned about taking their over-priced and underwhelming breakfast. Service was poor, staff seemed to have better things to do than provide for their customers. Had to go to reception in order to get the bill paid!
Highly unlikely that me, family, friends or work colleagues would ever book there again.

Good hotel if you need to be in Monchengladbach for business or an event. Staff very friendly and helpful - we needed some money exchanging on a sunday, they couldn't do it but they added the Euro to our bill and gave us the cash no questions. Nice bar and good restaurant which has long opening hours, pleasant outdoor terrace. Only downside, no AC in the rooms and it was hot but reception did bring up a fan.
