Warm, welcoming, and ideally situated for visiting the major sights - and Christmas Markets!
The service level was of the highest quality from every member of staff that we encountered—from helpfulness and good advice in reception to smiles and laughter in the breakfast room (huge breakfast selections) and a welcoming and service-minded guy minding the bar. They even put on a Christmas meet-up for the hotel guests, serving Christmas punch & cakes to all, which was a very welcoming gesture.
The rooms were spacious with all the amenities needed like a coffee maker
Situated in walking distance from most attractions, even the location is perfect. A bonus was the environmental outlook that was evident in all of the hotel.
No doubt, we will stay here again on our next visit to Vienna.

Perfect location for exploring Vienna including the Christmas markets, very central but quiet location.
We had standard room for 3 nights, comfortable bed, bathroom clean, friendly staff.
Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

I would like to have given Das Tigra a better score because it was a nice hotel. It was comfortable and well situated for access to Vienna highlights. However, the staff, while generally friendly, rarely gave any acknowledgement in the foyer area, so you didn’t feel really welcome. Also, minor faults in our bathroom, reported twice, wee not attended to, and generally response times to requests could have better. Although not reported, the room air conditioning was ineffective.

Perfectly situated boutique hotel. Short walk to local amenities & right on the doorstep of all main attractions in the old town & necessary transport links. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful & pleasant. Very comfortable, well appointed, exceptionally clean bedrooms. Nothing negative to say about this lovely, well priced hotel. Wonderful stay, thanks.

We arrived at 11:30am. We were surprised that we could not check in early after a long commute.

The hotel advertised “parking available.” Yes it is “available” but not from the hotel. It is about a 15 walk from their location to a private lot. You pay them and they give you a ticket to exit the lot. The ticket they gave us did not work. After 3 trips from the lot back and forth to the hotel they were unable to correct the problem. I had to contact the private lot manager to convince them to let us exit. I disputed the charge. The hotel forced payment anyway. This ordeal cost us an hour and we were unable to make it in time for a tour we had booked. The $104.96 still would not have covered the reservation we lost.

The location is excellent, and the supreme room is of a decent size, albeit no balcony. The breakfast at 20 euros/person is spectacular!! There are apples, candies, tea, cold water in the lobby of the hotel available to guests 24/7 free of charge. There are no daily complementary bottles of waters inside the rooms. Upon arrival or departure one can easily check-in/check-out online. The hotel’s staff is available 24/7, albeit one is constantly missing from the desk. My calling attempt to the reception from the room was unsuccessful, no one picked up the phone. However, my request of the service was promptly satisfied when I reminded the staff of my request.

Great hotel close to main sites. Family suite was very nice. Breakfast with many options. Parking was convenient (parking garage opposite street side) but expensive (32 EUR/night).

Excellent hotel in the Vienna city centre. The room was rather spacious, up to date and clean. The staff was very friendly. The best thing about the hotel, however, is it's location close to many major sights and several metro stations. Great for a city trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Das Tigra. The location is perfect - close to all the sites. The breakfast was delicious and the small bar perfect after a long day of sightseeing. What we loved most was the staff, who were kind and helpful. The airline lost our bags and the hotel staff offered to accept and hold our bags once found even while we were not staying at the hotel. I would definitely recommend Das Tigra.

Wonderful breakfast, guest service, and very quiet. The carpet is worn but that was easily overlooked because everything else was so pleasant and clean. Location was also superb, even in the very hot temperatures and humidity of August. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

The hotel was thoughtfully laid out and the whole staff was great and accommodating. Very walkable location slightly away from the hustle and bustle but with quick walking access to the major shops and sights. Extremely comfortable bed and couch bed was nice and firm too

It is an amazing boutique hotel in the inner city. It is a walking distance from Cafe Central, Stephansdom, Hofsburg, and many other tourist attractions. Yet the street it is on is very quiet. Has an amazing breakfast spread!

This is a stylish and very friendly place, full of nice amenities and brilliantly located just around the corner from everything interesting in Old Vienna. We were thrilled to stay there, and cannot speak highly enough about the staff, the cleanliness and the cool extra details--such as tea and sweets and water available around the clock in the lobby.
I found the shower hard to handle and the Internet was very spotty--unusual for a hotel of this quality. But everything else was superb, from the chocolates left in our room each evening to its position in the heart of an elegant and classical city.
