The Hotel is a good size room and service, the staff (Kevin) helped us when I forget bring our adaptor of phone charger (on site purchase would be 25 euro!!). Overall is good except the 19 euro/night parking charge is too much.

The hotel staff was always available if needed. The room was comfortable, and clean. Room included black out curtains which was great. There is also public transport available within walking distance which was great.

Our stay in Gent was quite wonderful as the city was more beautiful than we expected. The Gent express is within a short bus ride from the city centre and so was worth staying at. The breakfast buffet was excellent and so was the bar. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful with whatever requests we had.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but a little basic. The location was OK, but it was quite a wait for a bus into town. What made the trip was the staff - they went out of their way to help us with anything we needed!

It was filthy, we arrived very late so we had no chance to discuss it with management. The carpets were so dirty. The bath was so so dirty. Hairs on the shower curtain and bath. I tried to have a shower but tub was nearly blocked. I would never stay there again...

Parking charge is the worst and it is 19EUR per night which is very expensive than a city centre car park. Overall the room was decent and service is good. Breakfast is average. It is continental and not a cooked breakfast. It is near a football stadium and when I went it is a match day. The traffic is horrible and too many fans on the road walking and biking. It would be nicer to avoid on a match day.

Out dated, poor wash room facilities, heating did not work and during storm cold air was coming in. Additional charge for parking cars. Very unpleasant and not usual Holiday Inn experience.

It was great apart from the hotel restaurant closing on Friday and Saturday- had to go and find somewhere else to eat , was not notified about this when booked.

No Heather In thé first room Thé second room the Heather make 53 décibels, horrible I reserve one king sice bed and i dont receve it . Horrible, never again

This property is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This is something that should really be disclosed online before booking. There is equipment everywhere, and they get to work VERY early in the morning. It makes the old hotel look terrible, too. Shoved into a dirty corner looking run down. Our room was so-so with old carpeting and a musty feel. The air conditioning was confusing to operate, so we couldnt cool down the room very well. The bathroom was nicely updated, though the shower head could be replaced. The breakfast was okay. Made better by the great coffee. Overall, I am disappointed in this property mainly due to the construction right outside my window.

The property was really nice and suited my travel family as it was easy to get to city by car.

The IHG standards were maintained but this is an older property, in need of renovation, and during the time of my stay there were building works going on right outside my room. It looked like a hotel extension was being built. A shower head had been fitted that was way too big and heavy for the wall attachment. I eventually bought a new shower head in order to get a decent shower experience. The hotel is in an industrial area.

hotel was nice but out of the city.So thing are not easily accessible and nearby no market or eatries.

Really friendly hotel, with easy public access to Gent city centre. Really spacious rooms with comfy beds, extremely clean too. Breakfast was really good, self service in a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again.

Good location, clean and tidy, fast efficient staff, nice breakfast, large room with comfy beds, perfectly adequate for all our needs. Staff were very helpful and set us up well for visiting Ghent. Car park was a little pricey, mosquitos a problem in the area but staff equipped us with plug in device. Would stay again for sure.

We had a very good experience. The hotel was very clean and the room spacious with very comfortable beds and air conditioning. The breakfast was very good offering a variety that could satisfy any tastes. We stayed 3 nights and found it perfect for visiting Ghent and travel around the area.

Nice hotel conveniently situated next to the E40 and E19 motorway. Facilities ok but restaurant next door excellent. Much better than expected. Breakfast ok but not as good as the Ghent Expo Holiday Inn. My only grumble was paying for the car park at 10 euros per night. The staff were superb and were helpful and appreciative of the rubbish Belgium motorway system.
