This hotel was pretty good, but it wasn’t excellent. They do not offer any kind of complementary breakfast or coffee. They have a restaurant located inside the hotel in which you have to wait to be seated and then order off a menu and then pay for your meal. The food at the restaurant is OK, but it’s nothing to write home about. The room was slightly above average and it was fairly clean, however, they do not provide any sort of housekeeping if you are staying in a room for multiple days. The fitness center had multiple machines, but some of them were not working properly. The hotel has a nice hotel bar. The drinks are fairly good, but they are very much overpriced. I probably will not go out of my way to stay here again, but I won’t avoid this hotel either.

The shower curtain had pink and black mold and the tub drained slowly.
They were rennovating, but did not create a buffer around the work and we were placwd in a room above and next to where work was being done. When we pboned the desk about it we were told it would last from 8AM to 8PM. It finally stopped at 8:40PM and began again the next morning at 7:30AM.
The staff was very polite at both the desk and the restaurant. However, the restaurant must be short staffed as service was slow.
Be prepared to carry your suitcases up stairs as guests are directed to stairs and no mention of an elevator is made.

It’s quiet and easy. Great place to stay when visiting Hershey park.

Do check the reviewers. I have seen glowing reviews of properties that other reviewers stated were somewhat rundown or lacking in staff. Often the "glow" writers appear to have no previous reviews or history of travel. I have noticed that they are frequently several all on the same review date, leading me to suspect that these are actually fake travelers. Check what other reviews the traveler has written,this propert was pretty good.

I have to say, Rachelle who checked us in, was amazing ! The restaurant was VERY good, food was excellent. Down at our end of the hotel, smelled so much of marijuana, it was overwhelming. but that's not the properties fault.

The front desk staff was really nice and the location was perfect for what i came to Harrisburg for. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay with this property again

The hotel is showing signs of age and wear. Needs some upgrading, for example, USB ports in room and or business center for charging devices (tablets/phones).

The stay was good, but I pre booked 2 king rooms and when I got there was told they only had one. So the couple we were traveling with stayed on the other side of hotel in a 2 double bed room. Not offered anycompensation for the failure to provide the 2 king rooms that I booked.

Staff neglected to tell us about the cleaning schedule and the additional fees associated with the stay. The bathroom door did not latch when closed and did not open all the way because it rubbed against the floor. The carpet is dirty, I had to wear slippers or clean my feet. There was construction noise going on in the middle of the week. There was a large refrigerator but no microwave. The toilet or the shower leaked. The staff was nice and accommodating when we needed toilet paper, towels, etc

Getting my key took seconds after doing the mobile check in earlier. The room was very clean and everything worked fine. The TV system could use updating, like a usable program guide. All in all a great stay. Big bonus having a Perkins next door.

George at Front Desk and Becki in restaurant are exceptional! Thanks to them both, totally made my visit much better🤓 . . . the rooms are very clean and nice except the upscale mental-hospital-look decorating (or lack thereof) leaves alot to be desired?!🤔 why most everything in rooms are varying shades of brown including walls, floor, curtains, furniture😛. . . some scenic pictures of PA, Penn Harris, etc would be more than welcome, PLEASE! The staff was stellar and so was the conference food quality.
I have only have 2 criticisms.
1: You need to erect "Check-In" or "Lobby" signs from the highway entrances directing customers to the Lobby and the Conference entrances.
2: Because I am handicapped and use a mobility chair, I had problems getting from the hotel into the conference center because the exterior ramp was covered with the overnight snowfall which made me late to register for my conference. I recommend either erecting a roof over this ramp or installing a sub-concrete heating element that will melt snow as it falls. The staff was great in clearing the snow with a shovel and helping me get up the ramp, but this did not happen until after the conference registration time.

We couldn’t have had a better experience. Check-in was fast and efficient with excellent instructions on finding our rooms. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel. The food and the service was outstanding. The next morning we had the delicious Sunday breakfast brunch and again delighted with terrific service.

This hotel does not have an elevator. My room was on the 2nd floor and there are 19 steps to get there. No bellhop either. Gal at the front desk was less than friendly. She did find someone (I believe it was a maintenance person) to help with bags after I explained that I could not carry everything. He was very kind.
