We were visiting places that Avatar Meher Baba visited inn Switzerland. Suitenhotel Parco Paradiso hotel is very reasonable and clean, with extremely efficient staff. We were very impressed by their staff's ability to communicate. I didn't need to use my Creole of French and Spanglish. What really impressed us was the hotel's arrangement with Swiss trains. Staff gave us tickets with QR codes such that we rode free anywhere in the Kanton. Laundry service was also efficient. And the train station us a five-minute walk!

It was a coincidence to book at this hotel and it was one of best things happened in our vacation. The lake view was amazing.

Great stay

This hotel was a great value, great location, great service. The rooms were incredibly large, the breakfast was first class and the amenities were great, including sauna and steam. No brainer value in one of the most beautiful places in the world

I’ve stayed at many high end hotels and this is NOT one. It is good and no complaints, per se, but it is priced at a 4 or 5 star hotel and it is neither. On top of the already high price for the penthouse suite, when we arrived, they charged $95 USD each for my two children, despite me including them on the initial reservation with hotels.com. I’ve stayed at The View in Lugano for the same price and it is much, much better. Go there.

It’s not in the city but transit for bus and trains are very close. Highly suggest a taxi or hotel shuttle if coming in on the train, very uphill. Property is very well kept, beautiful landscape, staff is helpful and nice. Bed was comfortable and large room if you get the suite.

Hotel reception provides wrong information regarding the access to hotel , we travel by tourist bus and bus cannot access area as there is 3.5 metre bridge before we enter the hotel area and we need to use shuttle service from hotel approx 200-300 Metre away 2-3 times to transfer luggage and guests and also reception said they spent 2 hours with us as we have to pay 150 chf non receipt from local police and 150 chf from hotel for such a time spending with our group We stayed 6 rooms minimum spending 1600 Chf for 1 night- such a great hospitality service - never experienced and it costs a lot

Very nice! Beautiful lake view.

Super friendly staff and a fantastic location with just a short walk to town or the train station. Great views of the lake and easy on-site parking. The property and decor are a bit dated but in excellent condition and very clean, and the pool is indoor only and not that appealing in the summertime.

Hotel is ok, not sure it’s worth 4 stars, rooms and common areas are a bit dated, room size is good, pool area just ok, with very uncomfortable loungers. Location is close to Lugano but not in. They charge extra for use of the kitchenette in the room, had never seen that before.

Its a nice place. Wish the pool was open later on hot summer days...

Great view

Quiet property at a good location. The rooms were very nice; we had one with a balcony overlooking the lake. The cigar bar at the hotel was excellent, good selection of cigars and the bartenders made great drinks.

The property is gorgeous with a view above the Lake. Very well located. Transportation for those who can’t walk up hills. The rooms were very spacious with room for an entire family. Food was good. Breakfast a bit pricey.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views of the city of laguna. Quick walk to the lake front and the train station. It was a 4 min train ride from the main train station. Great breakfast buffet!

Hotel was great. We went to the restaurant on property and had their Japanese themed dinner. They brought the bill out for 6 adults and 4 children for $1800. The other parties in our group paid the bill. When I reviewed the bill the next day I noticed about $400 worth of items that were neither ordered or delivered to the table. When I called the hotel they said they checked with the waiter and the chargers were accurate. Beautiful view from the hotel but I would never stay there again.

The hotel is very chopped up. No map or explanation is given about the hotel. I did not see a outdoor area or outdoor pool, no place to get sun. Views are obscured by the rooflines and off to the side unless on a top floor. First room was dark & dungeon like on the entry level floor. I am a Hotels.com Gold member. The gym is TERRIBLE! Appalling gym this day & age. No foam rollers, no Bosu, no TRX, no incremental light weights for women etc. Restaurant is nice but twice in three nights I had an upset stomach and I never get upset stomach. I believe the ingredients are low quality...Other than that the rooms were fine & clean. Staff was friendly... Elevator under repair at check-out time.

It was very nice however the dining opportunities were very limited in the hotel and the only bar was a cigar bar. Breakfast was amazing though and very conveniently located for getting around.

very nice hotel above Lugano, view on the lake and Lugano, friendly staff, free parking, specially to mention is the Havana Deck, a smoking lounge/bar with exclusive cigars an drinks and a splendid view over the Lake Lugano. GREAT atmosphere!

All in all, very nice hotel.Spa area is quite nice, yet open only until 9 pm. We found that service was a bit weird though - we had no bathrobes in the room and we had to go down to pick them up.They had just one bathrobe at that moment to give us and it was impossible (???) to find a second one so ... we got none. Also, you need a special card to access the spa area and you need to go down to reception to pick it up ...and to return it. Breakfast was very rich, with great view over the lake. Hotel reception provided to us a free Tessin ticket which made our stay in Lugano more comfortable.

Excellent hotel, very well located in the upper part of Paradiso, a few minutes walk from the lake. Great view (the lake view room is more expensive, but worth it!). We had full board due to the pandemic, but the restaurant is good. Our room was large and well appointed with a balcony. Don't miss the bar with its incredible view over the bay of Lugano, plus the staff is really nice, without fuss. We will definitely return.

As soon as we walked into our room, our jaws dropped. The views from the room were absolutely amazing. As if the views were not enough, the hotel room was spacious, the bad was very comfortable (we slept within 10 minutes of getting into bed), and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool in a beautiful space with a view of the lake. Breakfast was good too. The only very minor thing we disliked was walking down to the bus station and then walking back up. The walk is a little intense if you are carrying luggage or a heavy backpack (I had my photo and video gear in the backpack). The hotel is located within walking distance of some tourist points and within minutes if you take the bus to the rest of the city. I strongly recommend this hotel. For the price, it's probably one of the best deals you can find.
