While this is a lovely hotel and centrally located, my flight was delayed and they still charged me for the night that I was unable to use. I was told hotels.com would need to approve before they could amend, but once they approved it the hotel was still unwilling to refund the night. Very disappointing! Wish I could give them a better rating because everything else was great.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here for business but one leisure day at the end of a longer trip. They were able to accommodate a pretty late checkout (for a fee) which was great because my departing flight wasn’t until nighttime. I did not use any of the facilities like the gym/bar. Room was nicely appointed - a tiny bit small walking past the bed but honestly overall it was a larger size hotel room for what I’m used to in Europe. Could open the window to let a nice breeze in (everywhere I went on this trip it was so hot indoors!) So overall it’s a pretty basic (but nice) European hotel. And it’s in a convenient location. I think it is by some red light-ish night clubs, but I only noticed one time walking back late and it reminded me because I had read in some reviews but it is zero issue / if I hadn’t read ahead I probably wouldn’t have even noticed

Nice small hotel. Great bed and bathroom. Convenient location close to train station (in between very nice and very poor areas of city). Breakfast was ok, coffee was terrrible. Hoped for a nice hotel bar, but no. Expedia “VIP benefit” was not useful.

Great rooms. Super spacious for European standards and the room felt clean and fresh. The staff was super helpful with all of our questions and had great suggestions of things to do and places to go. Rooms were quiet and amenities were fantastic. The hotel isn’t in the best location as the safe / desirable side to be on is across the river, but needless to say, it’s a quick walk to get to the good area of town.

The staff were very attentive. However, there was hair in the shower that did not belong to us (the staff came and took it away immediately). Also, we needed two beds (I was traveling with my son) and they made a king into two twins without actually separating them.

Our biggest pain point was the air conditioner, it did not work and we had uncomfortable nights of sleep. We asked 4 different people over our two night stay. One cleaning person and a late night front desk person came to the room and said it should be working but neither could get it to work. The other two persons said they’d look into it but we did not hear back. We think it just didn’t work and perhaps they decided to brush it to the side. An AC is not difficult to operate. It either works or it doesn’t. The cleaning and late night staff were very nice, attentive, and did what they could.

We had a lovely one night stay at the hotel before we left for countryside. Warm hospitality upon arrival. Hotel has a cool boutique vibe. The room was clean and comfortable. Birds chirped all morning. The location is prime - few blocks from the train station and the lake.

Staff at front desk and restaurant were nice - had a good sleep. Single Room was spacious and the interior of the hotel is very welcoming. Breakfast had a good selection of food. Would book again in this hotel

we stayed for 3 nights only. the hotel is comfortable and delivered what was expected. It was nice to be able to get the free Geneva local transport organised at the hotel.
I think it is more a swiss governement thing but greatly thankful for the hotel to organise it for us.

Mediocre hotel in a rough area of Geneva. Misleading pictures on lime hide the lack of facilities and amenities. Handy for the station. That’s about it.

Although it is only 2 blocks from the lake, the neighborhood is not so good. On Sundays, the restaurant does not open and the Room-service is off too.. we should have known it in advance... The room is OK but I expected bigger for a supperior/ deluxe room.

The reason why I give such feedback is because it occurred huge sound in my room due to the air conditioner. What made it worse was that the time was about 1pm. The staff was kind and changed the room for me. But because of this terrible situation I didn’t have a nice experience.

Was expecting a little bit more from this hotel actually, but the room was nice, clean, and spacious. Hotel was quiet, and I don't think I ever saw the bartender or anyone at the bar. Location wasn't bad, but some nearby streets felt a little risky and not so clean while we walked through.

The most problematic aspect was the noise, the noise from the street but also noise from people above you in the building. It’s an old building so you can hear people walking around above and next to you. The property is a little dated and could use a refresh in the rooms. It was difficult to access as the road in front does not allow for cars to stop so getting a taxi or being picked up is difficult and a bit dangerous. The staff were friendly and helpful however the morning breakfast was limited and not very fresh. Overall the experience was good but not sure if I would return again.

East West hotel is excellent, the service us impeccable and the staff was incredibly helpful. The wait staff at breakfast was firstclass with a warm greeting and very attentive. My colleague and I had a wonderful stay and this is one of the best hotels in Geneva.

The front-desk staff and breakfast server were all wonderful. The room was well-appointed although, due to a fire next door, the AC did not work. Staff promptly provided us with fans and arranged to comp our breakfast. Fridge wasn’t cold but overall, a pleasant and convenient location near the train station.
