There were bugs, no towels, bathroom door didn’t close, etc. very disappointed.

Pretty decent place. Might come back again. Who knows?

We were very disappointed with the condition and vibe of the hotel and decided to cut our reservation short to move to another. We thought that it would be better upon booking. Hotel and Arroyo room was not clean (large stains on walls, sofa, ceiling, and sheets, grimey grout/soap dispensers, muddy pool area, pool had floating dead flies & plastic trash, open air breakfast room smelled funky) or well maintained (showerhead spout coming off and being held together by plumbers tape, toilet seat cover falling off, AC machine vent didnt have a lid and was caked in lint, wall/roof drywall repairs not painted over, pool/area had lots of cracks). Breakfast was sparse, cops and CPS came by for a domestic dispute (not hotel's fault, I recognize); it just did not feel very welcoming.

Staff was very nice and helpful

The room had good climate control. The floor did not seem very clean and I chose to use slippers once I took my shoes off. There were many poorly patched holes and dents in the walls and it appeared to be mold in the shower. No body wash or hand or bath soap was provided.

First room had a strong odor, second one was good but microwave didn’t work. We asked the morning shift rep to fix that and they promised but never did. Ration price to quality is definitely not matching. Nice hotel but price is way high

The first night I got there with my family in the middle of the night when all my family was sleeping some one open my window and got a foot in my hotel room trying to get in not unil my husband screamed mad the left running. I got up and went to the front desk to let them know they really didn’t care. As I had two small children and it was in the middle of the night my husband told me just to move up stairs because we were not going to find a hotel around there at that hour. Next morning I ask to speak to the manager they told me he was coming in first thing in the morning he never showed up I left around 10:30 am because they didn’t know when the manger was coming in or he didn’t want to talk to me well anyways I ask for my money back and they told me they couldn’t give me my money back after arguing with them in the front desk they told me they would issue a refund a refund they never did until I had to call several times to my third party(expidia) they told (expidia)they had refunded my money to a debit card that obviously was not mine,and mentioned it to expidia I had my receipt from where I had paid and it was not the same one after expidia kept calling them they finally refund me my money. I just want to say please please be careful and always be alert specially when traveling with children I had a bad experience in this area in this hotel,They need better costumer service especially the manger.

Serviceable hotel in a great location, with kind and helpful staff. Good place to stay when your goal is to do things in Pasadena, not sit in your room. Comfortable bed, functional amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee, Internet).

The room was clean and well maintained. Front desk was friendly and check-in was fast. Parking was easy. Location is great for exploring oldtown Pasadena. We were able to work to old town in a few minutes.

The room was clean and the location of this establishment is excellent: Metro station is nearby and there are plenty of dining options. But what most impressed me was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. I will make this my Pasadena hotel from this point forward.

The hotel is fine, the coffee maker was with rotten water, they never brought out the coffee that someone else made, the only bad thing is that I paid for that hotel because it said it includes food and they put photos with eggs and super pretty, and when you go to have breakfast the only thing What is there is froot loops cereal, and binbo bread with jam and sensillos begos, they should not include breakfast because one pays well for everything and it is better to eat on the street el hotel esta bien la cafetera estaba con agua podrida, nunca sacaron el cafe que alguien mas hizo, lo unico malo que yo page ese hotel por que decia que incluye alimentos y ponen fotos con huevo y super bonito, y cuando vas a desayunar lo unico que hay es cereal froot loops, y pan binbo con mermelada y begos sensillos no deben de poner desayuno por que uno paga por ago bien y es mejor comer en la calle

The hotel was nice but our hotel room had gnats by the sink. The walls are paper thin and we heard everything. The people next door were so loud. It was very frustrating. The traffic was loud and it must have been garage day because we heard the garage truck out side.

Breakfast was terrible. Completely different from the pics. Beware they charge service fees separately from expedia payments. When you book through expedia, you receive an email explaining about this in a very small font with one sentence. I highly doubt anyone would get to read or even notice.

There were many areas that needed improvement. Paint was chipped in many places, The blackout shade was ragged And the shower didn’t work. No water came out of the top We were sent to another room that had not been cleaned to take showers Yes the staff was nice, but it was way over their heads. The shelf that supposed to hold the toiletries was broken off in the tile surround.

Im not a bad review person, I don’t like leaving them, and for full disclosure, we were the last ones in, but this room was not well maintained. Stained walls and pillowcases, no towels, shower was dirty. Blinds were shredded. Hooks on the wall where a picture used to be. Decent hot water and pressure, but a neglected room.

Great stay for a weekend trip. Everything worked well in the room. Only issue was the door gets stuck, but we were strong enough to open it without assistance.

There were lots of stains on the sheets, a very thin and light blanket, there was no soap in the shower or for handwashing. The positive, no bedbugs.

It was easy and free to park. Close to the gold line to get around without a car. Great location with Whole Foods right across the street

This place is comically bad. There was a hole in the sink drainpipe that poured water all over the floor. Someone obviously knew this as they'd put towels under it (which of course only worked for about 30 seconds). Ceiling had water stains from apparently more plumbing problems upstairs. The walls are so thin you'll hear every drunk at 3a inside and outside the hotel. The bed was some sort of cheap foam that was so old it had conformed to people sleeping on it. At least the shower was clean? The staff was at least friendly and had the plumbing fixed upon request. Luckily we were only staying a couple nights for the music festival at the Rose Bowl.

There was a problem with heating and the maintenance worker couldn't get it fixed. Some heat resulted but up to par which is the reason for the three stars.

Nice location, conveniently located near a metro station if you want to go to LA.

A very pleasant stay. Busy on the weekend, but otherwise, quiet.

A little bit unclean. Dirty sheets and the security deposit wasn't paid back in full.

Whole foods across the street. MTA subway a block away Del Mar stop. Colorado Blvd blocks away and walking distance. Lots of nearby place to eat as well.

The bed was comfortable, and bedding was clean but did not come with a bed spread so we had to request an additional blanket as the weather was quite cold. The room was not as clean as it should be. Toothpaste on the bathroom door and something had been spilled on the floor by the mirror but not cleaned up. There are water stains on the ceiling and curtain sheers. Also, they were working on the roof at 9AM on Saturday which was really loud as they were stomping around on above our heads. Saturday was our only day to sleep in so that was not pleasant.

It was a great place and close to all the action. Lots of shopping locations.

The room had stain ceilings and tape stuck to wall. Bathroom had brown/red stains on wall by toilet paper roll. Also shower was clogged . Tv didn’t work right away. Had a bad stagnant smell when you go in room. Walls were very thin, we could hear the people talking in room next to us. Our original reservations were canceled without our knowledge.

Hotel was decent and there was free parking. The room was clean but there was no soap. My low rating is mostly based on the $110 deposit that was not listed on expedia, and not mentioned anywhere else that had to be paid at the property.

The location was excellent to explore old town Pasadena but the cleanliness was quite lacking. Lots of stains and grime that could have easily been wiped up prior to someone staying. We weren’t expecting a nice hotel standard but it was one of the dirtier rooms I’ve stayed in. If you want a cheaper rate and aren’t going to be in the room much, then go for it.
