It was very close to the airport and had a free shuttle

Perhaps due to renovations, the establishment is a bit run down. It was okay to rest one’s head in between flights

Floor and room are dirty.

Disgusting. Do not stay here. Rooms smell like sewage if you turn down or off the AC. Running water is dirty. Floors and furniture are stained with who knows what. Hotel is under renovation and makes no indication of it until you have already checked in. No pool even though it’s mentioned. Definitely more of a one star motel than a 3 star hotel

This place need touching up carpet smells the room I was in has bubbling of the ceilings. The shower needs like soap and conditioners dispensers were not working

The hotel is under renovation which is great! I would like to point out that there are some areas which require attention: Rm: 322, there is water damage and paint is flaking close to the window. The area by the restaurant, the ceiling also has water damage and needs painting. The restaurant garbage needs to be cleaned often.

I did see that the property was being renovated. The rooms were dated and could have been more clean.

It was underworked

I was initially excited to find a Hyatt Place near BWI airport. I have stayed at the one in Charleston SC many times and it is fabulous. This property, however, is in total disrepair. Our room looked like someone had a frat party in it. The furniture was so stained and disgusting, we would not sit on it. The carpet was just gross. The whole room was a hot mess. The hallway smelled and was in equally bad shape. We would have left but I had prepaid and due to flight delays arrived at 2am. Thankfully, the bathroom was at least tidy and the bed sheets looked clean. The only redeeming quality of this hotel aside from the location was the pleasant front desk staff. Was very disappointed overall and would not stay here again.

Room was drity, like really drity. Carpet had stains everywhere frame of be was drity. It smell old. We i got there they were under construction outside.

Staff was so unfriendly. We had dirty towels on first night so I went to desk. I got clean towels but no sorry or anything. Second night, came back to find room not clean trash still full. Went back down to see why. Was told it’s not her job. Nobody was warm or welcoming at desk at anytime, check in, check out, or when asked a question.

Would have given 5 stars, to their credit they are undergoing s renovation.

The floor in room was filthy, sink slow draining. Took 4 hours to get towels for shower and towels not like normal hotel towels like rags. Stains on couch cushions looked disgusting. Went to desk 3 times for towels and son went twice still never got towels till the last time went down. Stayed multiple nights. Did not have bagel cutter had to use plastic knife. Overall greatly disappointed with this extended stay. Did not meet my expectations for this hotel brand.

the Hotel is not close like the pic. the room smell old and humanity, we didn't dare to take a shower, the tub was pink, i never going back.

It was well

I booked the hotel for 4 people and there was only 2 towels in the room. Went downstairs to get more they said when we find some we will bring them up. It was several hours. The shower dispensers were empty and i had to go downstairs to get products and they said i can't give them to uou we need to place them in shower. But we had someone in there. They procede to later just put on the counter and not even install anyway. Breakfast was crazy. Never had food put out. Terrible. Front desk was RUDE!

Do not Book unless you read all reviews. The fact that the location got the highest star rating is insane. The name alone - Hyatt is supposed to be a brand of prestige and this location didn’t live up to the standards of Hyatt at all. I also had expectations that staying by the airport would give us a peaceful nights rest, it did not. From the moment we walked in to check in to our room we weren’t greeted by staff. I had to walk around the lobby looking for staff to check me in. There was a distinct odor as soon as you enter the lobby. I booked through Expedia and they should have informed us that the hotel was under renovation. Expedia is wrong and unprofessional for listing this hotel on their site without complete disclosure about it being under renovation.They also only had 1 bellhop cart for the entire hotel to utilize .Its a safety hazard, especially if you are traveling with young children. The electrical outlets were all exposed, they had ceiling with exposed water damage, dirty carpets, odor in rooms, stained couches and shower curtains. No extra amenities like a blanket for the pull out couch. I also did not appreciate how the staff responded to my child who is on the Autism spectrum when he was over stimulated and needed a space/break. Save your self the time and money & do NOT book here. I am extremely disappointed, disgusted & did not enjoy my experience and overall stay.

This hotel is a disaster, my kids nicknamed it “Hotel Transylvania.” They don’t have any consideration for the guests’ health, since they are doing MAJOR renovations (removing wall paper, painting, changing lights) making the place incredibly dusty and filthy. The floors were full of debris, and the hallways smelled heavily of paint. They also don’t clean the rooms at all. We were told they would clean every three days, but not at all. We had to ask multiple times, and when they finally did, they reused the same sheets, only replaced the towels, and took out the trash. They also wheeled in all the construction debris from the hallways into the room, making our room floors even dirtier. Did I mention they also didn’t vacuum in the duration of our ten-long day stay? My kids all got sick during our trip and their allergies were awful. I’m sure it was because of how dirty this place is. To put it into more detail, the comforters are SUPER gross (over used, the foam inside is BROWN), the sink is clogged, and the couches have so much stains… The staff are not friendly, no smiles at all. We felt like prisoners. Not worth the money spent… we are really disappointed. Our vacation was ruined because of this hotel, my kids’ allergies worsened, and we all came home with mysterious bug bites from the beds!!! A NIGHTMARE. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

They are remodeling and when you book they let you know. The staff are friendly and overall very convient for my one night stay.

need to make sure rooms are cleaner

The carpet and couch were filthy.

Bathroom was not very clean, shower curtain had stains and the halls as well as elevator were being redone so it smelled of primer/paint. Also housekeeping tried multiple times to bust into the room before checkout time and if the door was not dead bolted they would have come in whilst I was still sleeping and my partner was showering.

I was put in a room where they had just got done painting on that floor that day. The fumes of the fresh paint was very strong when you stepped out of the room

The facility itself was good, however, the people at the front desk were very unprofessional and unpleasant. The room was never cleaned and no clean towels were provided even after written notes were handed to the front desk staff. One of the young female staffers got angry when we asked an extra chair for our room. She told me “you’re the first person ever who made such request”. She was very nasty and started arguing with me and my wife. When I insisted she said “we don’t have any chairs and we can’t give you any chair”. She also told me that “you don’t know how to talk.” It was one of the worst experiences we had with a hotel staff and staying at the hotel.

The property was conveniently located to my destination.

When my grandson went to sleep on sofabed, the sheets and bedding were clearly dirty. Sheets were bundles in middle of bed and bed and area not clean. Hotel fixtures dated.

This hotel has potential to be great. They are under construction for a new look but the room we had felt very dirty and old. Old items, carpet had stains everywhere, couch seems a bit worn and dirty too, tube was worn down. It was more over items and furniture was over used or old. So hopeful that when they get the remodel and new things it can be up to par.
