Very clean

Only one desk person up front. He needed help.

We had a pleasant stay. I had informed them through the website and with two calls before our stay to confirm room type and reservation and let them know we would need the sofa bed, but when we arrived after a 12 hr drive and finally got the kids ready for bed at 11pm we were annoyed to find the sofa bed was not made up and there was not any bedding in the room, I had to go back down to the front desk to get them myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the free breakfast options, it included make-your-own waffles, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurts, cereals, fruits, and bakery items. Our room was clean except for the bathroom floor was really dirty. We kept getting little pebbles and what looked like mud in the bathroom and by the third day I finally realized it was the dirt in the grout coming up. I don't think they had swept or mopped that floor in a long time. We asked for housekeeping service the third day and unfortunately didn’t get it. We had the suite with 2 adults and 4 kids so our trash was full, we had a lot of dirty towels and a few pool towels and we were out of toilet paper. Overall though, I would stay again, it was adequate for the price.

Quick pass through hotel. Was clean, quiet and safe.

Hotel was in a great location. Close to NMSU. Elevator was dirty inside. Breakfast was almost gone by 7:30AM most of the dishes were completely empty. Friendly staff.

It was in poor condition. Everything looks run down and old. Really outdated and I found a roach in my room. Absolutely will not be staying here again. Plus there was a lot of homeless roaming and entering the lobby. Did not like that at all.

Cleanliness was unacceptable, out of everything listed above.

This was the most filthy hotel that we experienced. Hotel room had blood on sheets, hair all over the place, someone’s pants were left in the closet. We were offered another room however, that room was just as filthy. We didn’t stay 1 night of our 4 night reservation. We asked for a refund the associate at the front desk said he would write a note for the manager who can only process refunds. This was booked through Expedia which after multiple calls by them and us no luck reaching the manager. At this point it feels like she is ignoring us. Would not recommend, DONT BOOK HERE

Convenient location to university, freeway, shopping and restaurants.

Nice place. I have been here before and see no reason to change. The location is nice & the staff pleasant & efficient.

This was a quick overnight stay via my drive to airport. Check in was excellent, staff recommended a great little Italian restaurant down the road. Room was cool temperature wise and very clean and comfortable.

Easy check-in and the room was clean.

The room was ok. Noisy cause we were right by the pool. The pool was indoor and very cold and dirty. Air conditioner sounded like rain or wind was hitting the unit off and on, which it wasn’t.

We found Comfort Suites University Las Cruces quite disappointing. Here's why: the toilet seat in our bathroom was loose and about the fall off. I asked the front desk to fix it, but I was ignored, so I fixed it myself. The freezer door on our room fridge was broken off. We had a total of one large towel in our bathroom when we arrived. The switch for the bathroom warming light was broken, so the light was unusable. The electric outlet to the right of the television didn't work. The breakfast was awful—both days. The carpet in the elevator was disgusting. Replace it! Our floor hallway carpet needed to be vacuumed. The swimming pool water was so cloudy that we didn't dare go swimming. Do I need to go on? I feel we deserve a refund or at least a discount.

Great stay

Cross country trip with the family. Opted to stay further in vs right of off the hwy. It was a great choice. Location was great. It was nice, clean and felt very safe. The only disappointment was the indoor pool that was small and water was very dirty. My kids still jumped in but came out after a short while because the water smelled. They quickly showered off the smelly pool water. Breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, bagels, variety of juices, coffee and milk. Overall it was a pleasant overnight stay for our trip.

The room has 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper we didn’t use) small fridge , microwave etc. I must say for the price point it checks all the boxes as good.

Loved the service

Our room wasn’t the best. There wasn’t any lamps that worked. The tub did not drain and there was damage in the room (hole in the wall, cracked ceiling) and it just didn’t seem clean. We had to cancel the reservation and switch hotels. This is good for a quick overnight stay for the $98 price but we didn’t want to deal with these problems as we stayed in Las Cruces for 3 days. I wish I had photos to share. The front desk agent was great about listening to our concerns and expressed her apologies so we are thankful for that.

Bed bugs!! And no refund offered!!!

Bathtub drain did not drain. Water took 30 minutes to drain. Bathroom sink drain smelled terrible when used. Carpet between beds was sticky. Room was average at best on cleanliness. Bathtub had rust stains.

This Hotel is not recommended. Looks like it is a fixer upper type of hotel. When we first arrived the hotel room smelled really bad (missing service air condition?) and the microwave contained a pizza from the guest before us😵‍💫 Talked to the staff 5 minutes after checking the room, but they didn’t have other large rooms. The staff said I would be compensated for the bad experience the next morning before leaving. Probably some what frustrated after not hearing from them😵‍💫
