Roaches everywhere. Tv didnt work. Shower leaked everywhere. Bedspread has holes all in it. Room smells like urine. Definitely wont be staying here again ever!! I feel disguisting and almost packed up instantly. I have been killing large roaches since we arrived.

Disbursing. It would loud. The place was disgusting. The bed was hard. The shower flooded the bathroom. There was a crack over the door.

Edges of Linens frayed, blanket scratchy, walls dirty, shower head stained, towel rack in bathroom missing, bathroom door wouldnt close and there was a hole in the tub surround. Sidewalk in front of room littered with beer bottle caps, outlets filthy, bedside table nasty, no fridge. Signage had lights missing making it hard to see entrance.

It was under remodel. Small towels no mirrors.

There wasn’t even any toilet paper in the room

Outlets didn't work, tub dirty and moldy,hole puched in door, flooring peeling, blanket dirty, GFI by sink didn't work.

Room didn't look anything like picture. Bedspread had cigarette holes, sheets pee stained and damaged, curtains disgustingly filthy, bug in the bed, door lock unusable, temp of room unbearable. There was no soap to wash your hands after going to bathroom. Nothing in this room was good. We didn't spend the night. After check in we went and ate supper and all agreed we wouldn't be comfortable at all. The pool wasn't available and that was one of main reasons I picked the place. I seriously can't say one good thing about this property.

This property was terrible and needs to be closed immediately! Still, two days later I am covered in 40 bug bites from my stay there. The rooms were broken down with holes in the walls and broken doors. The staff were kind enough but completely ineffectual. Bugs were everywhere and you cannot in good conscience allow anyone else to stay there!

The only thing that was good about this hotel was that the beds were comfortable. Everything else was NOT worth the money that we paid. Pulling up to the property there are a couple of buildings that look like they used to be part of the hotel but isn't used anymore. The "outdoor poor" is closed for repairs. When we finally found the office, we went inside and the lady behind the counter was very nice. She gave us our keys and we pulled around the building. In our room, the window has no curtains, just a paper window covering that was taped up. The room is all linoleum. The bathroom smelled of old urine. The tub had stains in it, no drain plug, and the faucet was twisty on the wall. We checked the beds for bed bugs but didn't see any. The mattresses are old but they were comfortable. The last thing was the sink only had hot water. Leaving the property there always seemed to be people standing around in the parking lot which was kind of gave an an uneasy feeling. My son did find a razor blade in the parking lot. We tried to go to another hotel but everything was booked due to the Chiefs Training Camp. The location is very close to training camp if that's why you are visiting. There also was a gas station and donut shop within walking distance that was very good.

It was a worse place ever. Had a hole in the door so we had to get tape and paper to cover it up. About a month ago it was for the homeless people so it was very dirty and bugs everywhere. We only stay one night. It needs to be condemmed. Staff was awlful to...would never recommended it

Smelled like smoke, then asked for a non smoking room, was told there wasn’t one available then all of the sudden one came open got that room smelled like smoke also and the smoke detector wasn’t even there. Ended up canceling the room and drove 15 mins out of the way to stay at another hotel

Over all as hard as the staff tried nothing about the exsperiance was "fun" where the hotel was concerned security concerns with the first room in cluding missing a tv and a working ac they where quick to move our room it really set the tone for our stay. Sleep was hard to come by outside of pure exsaustion. Not only did i not feel safe we took everything with us for the day every day. Wont be staying with any motel 6 in the comeing future. Over all half a star at most as im sure there where bugs!

Slept on top of the sheets because too dirty

The room was so dirty and disgusting I simply refused to stay. I went to reception and was assured I would receive a full refund. This motel appears to be under renovation, but the available rooms are all in an atrocious state. Stained sheets, bugs smashed in them, and cigarette holes. The bathroom for filthy, and the entire room reeked of smoke, despite being described as a non-smoking room. Absolutely unacceptable.

I thought I wrote this answer before. Please protect your reputation by dropping this Motel 6 off your endorsement. And I did NOT stay after seeing the room!! I demanded my money back to them and they said something like it would take awhile to show up on my credit card AFTER taking my card and doing something with it again as if they were reversing the charge. I will not check on an unsafe WIFI connection where I'm at (Quality Inn I got myself in person AFTER seeing my room.) But my husband at home says it does not show up as being reversed but only as I am still being charged, even though I almost ran out of there WITHOUT staying a minute longer than needed.

Did not even stay Got our money back and left. room had tile missing towels were stained tub and stool were stained.Place was under remodeling I think Looked nothing like the pictures. Should not even been opened until it was finished.

Property was undergoing extensive renovation but it affected the entire stay. Water pressure low, temperature control bad. No notification of the renovations was sent to inform me of the conditions. This property may some day be average but should not really be open for occupancy in its current condition.

I got in a little early, but I could not get the TV to work. I took it as a sign to just read and go to bed. I should have said something but it did not bother me. The bed was comfortable and not noisy. I was up early, got coffee, left the key and went. What I was looking for.

Listen, I love Motel 6's not only for the price, but I like being able to pull my car right up to my hotel room door. But not all Motel 6's are equal. I expect and do not criticize Motel 6's to be a little worn, maybe with missing towel racks and cigarette burns in the bed cover. But the reason I rated the Motel 6 in St. Joseph lower is because they seem to be housing homeless or low-income people. I do not have a problem with helping the less fortunate, but the room was not very clean, the flooring was broken and loose, and the folks next door smoked, so my room smelled like smoke. The floor was filthy. There was constant noise from the other inhabitants, and while I like dogs, theirs whined when left alone for the day. Perhaps the management should segregate their populations. There was a long hair and what looked like shampoo blobs left in the bathtub, and when I used the one washcloth provided to wipe it down, I discovered the washcloth had brown stains. If I stayed there again I would bring my own bathroom cleaner. One good thing - the water there is HOT and comes out powerfully, like a massager!!

The bedding was stained. There were stains on the walls and the tub looked dirty. The door did not close completely on the bottom. We left within hours of checking in

I’ve never been asked to show my Id and my husband’s id ever before. Thought that was a bit much. Bed linens were clean. Room was not clean. Bathroom floor and sink were filthy. Rooms are no smoking, but, other guests were smoking right outside their doors and it was coming right in our room.

The rooms were pretty small, and there wasn't much room to move around.

Dirty towels and you have a serious bug problem rooms smell and i dont believe the bed linens get changed after people have stayed there how do you stay in business?
