The property is in not a very nice area. Although the property was very conveniently located and nothing unsafe happened, the surrounding area did not feel safe. The hotel per se is great but the area does not feel safe.

Conveniently located, friendly staff and good breakfast choice.

We had a strange check in experience. At first, it was the best check in experience i ever had. Very thorough. She said she placed us in back of hotel to avoid noise. When we got to our room, there was a baby crying next door & a terrible view, so we called the front desk & asked if we could move rooms. They said yes & when i returned to the front desk the same person who checked us in gave us the hardest time moving rooms & made a rude remark that if the next room had a crying baby next door she couldn’t move us. Her demeanor completely shifted & made me feel completely uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. Too bad because it was a nice hotel. Maybe dont lie to customers and tell them you are placing them in back due to noise level when you clearly dont care which noises actually bother us. City noise over crying babies any day.

Great location for exploring Geneva

Everything was perfect. The hotel is well located, close to Cornavain, many inter Dining options, safe, close to the lake. Totally recommend it.

Close to lake, sightseeing opportunities, close to many different cultural restaurants

I recently stayed at the Novotel Geneva and overall, my experience was positive. The hotel offers smaller rooms, but with a comfortable and clean environment; courteous staff who are always ready to assist. Breakfast buffet options were extensive with about $40 per person charge. However, I encountered a few challenges during my stay. The dining options in the immediate vicinity predominantly cater to Turkish and Muslim cuisine. While the food was good, it might not suit everyone’s preferences, especially those looking for a broader variety. Another significant issue was the parking situation. The hotel’s parking garage is extremely tight. If our vehicle had been even an inch wider, we wouldn’t have been able to park. The corners are incredibly narrow, the ramps steep, and the parking spaces are tiny. Given these difficulties, I believe parking should have been complimentary rather than the $40 fee. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was pleasant, and I would recommend Novotel Geneva for its hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

Good location and inviting interior

Hotel is within walking distance from the train station. The area is full of street girls and shady bars. However, it felt very safe. We didn’t feel threatened. Close enough to the water front to walk back and forth.

The hotel breakfast was wonderful and asthetic was nice. The room was very clean, however the ceiling tiles made a very loud banging sound everytime we opened the door to the toilet, which was a little startling.

I was a little disappointed because it said that coffee was included with the room. The first day was okay, but on the second day, when we asked for creamer, they said we had to pay for it. Usually, most hotels include coffee. It was surprising that we stayed at Novotel Zurich and they didn't have that policy.

Staff were unfriendly and the neighborhood is not pleasant, felt unsafe with homeless folks and red light area

Clean, welcoming and just what we needed for a short stay in Geneva.

The room was very hot and wouldn’t cool down very easily.

The hotel room is very comfortable especially the air conditioning and bathroom. The two negatives are 1) breakfast selection is good but not the food quality, 2) location is near the main railway station but you may experience a little bit of dodginess in the area.

The hotel is ideally situated. A 5min walk from the rail station. There are numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The main part of Geneva is no more than a 10min stroll. If we return to Geneva, we would definitely stay there again. Very much recommend.

Nice hotel with good service. I stayed on a Saturday night. Lots of nightlife in the immediate area, all of which could be heard from my room all night long.

Great hotel, nice breakfast (free for kids 16 and younger) which was a great deals for us. Best shawarma near. Lyuba at recemption was the greatest! Cant wait come back to Geneva and Novotel!

Great location closed to train station, Geneva Lake and restaurants.

Excellent stay. Thank you. Beds were a little hard so the sleep wasn't amazing but it was comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the location is perfect.
