Nice room clean but very hot. Toilet seat dint fit the loo and tap in the sink was a poor design as it did not full go over the sink so water went everywhere. Bed very bouncy and pillows a bit flat could do with extra. Pleanty of plugs and lights

Our room was spacious and comfortable, although the WiFi signal was very weak and the on demand tv function was intermittent at best - frustrating. The guy on the desk couldn’t help or suggest anything. Breakfast was rudimentary but acceptable wnough

Hotel was ok . Receptionists was not very pleasant on arrival . Need some training there . Apart from that room was clean ,parking outside and good location for the city centre . Watch when booking as I booked through hotels . Comwhich parking was free . If not £5 per day .

Good Central Location, Public Areas Very Nice, Room clean and comfy, Heating a little unpredictable, (Cold During Night). Bar and Breakfast Good.

Great Hotel nice rooms and staff very helpfull. Area is a mess with all the road works going on. But when finished will look great.

The room had not been vacuumed, so there was fluff and and hairpins on the carpet.

Lovely hotel stayed many times before, the rooms was very hot this time not quite ready for heating just yet 🙈

Easy access to this nags in Bradford city centre. Well priced for the condition of the hotel. Lovely Victorian building but could do with some updating. Comfy beds, lovely reception and quiet too

First of all we booked a different room, they gave us 4th floor, did not like the room, but we did try to call the reception but the phone wasn’t working, seems like it they just didn’t care, so we left it, room smelled very bad. As we booked before first floor and second floor rooms were good,

Great location, well looked after historic building. Really enjoyed our stay there, would stay for longer next time!

The room was brilliant. We had an executive suite. Could have done with curtains in the sofa room as was too light we could see on the bedroom. When we got there late on Saturday we had to phone to get in and wait.

Really lovely hotel, when we drove up i was a bit concerned as from the outside it doesn't look the best and we have all stayed in hotels like that which need a bit of renovation. Need not have worried, it is in beautiful condition inside, staff lovely room is a comfortable size, we had a room at the front of the hotel and it was really quiet. Would definitely stay again

Lovely room, with historic charm. But a little dated and some mould on shower ceiling so benefit from a refreshed decoration, repair to worn out carpets and extracted fan in shower. Bed on fourth floor was uncomfotable.

Nice large rooms

My only, small, criticism is that my room was very warm. My window couldn't be opened at all. Overall the room was comfortable, spotless and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a very convenient location for business wnich is law givem the proximity of the Courts. No travel required adding time and stress to a busy day- instead after a good breakfastyou can simply walk to work! What makes thevenue is the staff!From reception to the bar & restaurant everyone is unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. 😀 And it is great vslue . Lovely cooked breakfast. Supported by excellent service.Well done! I wish the place could have an update\refresh of decor! Looks tired! Eg windows in bedrooom sticky and difficult to open. The front loooks worn - eg the flags are torn and dirty. But as I szy all outweighed by a super team!

The room was too hot, we couldn’t open the windows because they were painted shut. We had to request a fan twice before receiving one. The heat wasn’t comfortable at all.

Nice and comfortable stay

Enjoyed a nice comfortable stay at GV Hotel.

I booked the hotel as my Hotels.com membership offered free parking and possible upgrade (if available) - they tried to charge me for parking until I evidenced this. When I asked about a possible upgrade - they said no as there were no rooms available. It was Sunday night and the hotel was empty!!

Lovely old building - full of character. Very central. Large Room but quite dark due to decor/furnishings. Overall value for money - staff friendly & helpful.

The Room was cramped , there were better rooms but we seemed to get one with a nice bathroom but the room had an outside side hall type access .. this seemed to reduce the room size considerably… when one sees the laptop bag .. one should know your desk chair should not hit off the bed … too small and rooms need a lick of paint

Walked inasked for a room said none available. Walked back in 5 mins later after booking one on hotels.com (same receptionist) must have felt awkward for him. Maybe face didnt fit in to give the room!

Receptionists didn’t seem interested apart from the chap when I checked out.

This was an overnight stay for a business trip. The hotel was comfortable, good value for the money and the staff were friendly and accommodating .

I arrived to discover an undisclosed £50 per night "deposit". When I queried it as I had in full, the receptionist pushed a plastic notice at me and explained in a bored voice that it was hotel policy. I was then expected to sign a waiver withou being given chance to read it first - very rude in my opinion. I was told the deposit woukd be held for upto 15 working days so thank goodness I was only staying 1 night! While the hotel was nice enough and all the other staff were really friendly, the nightly deposit, which was not made known at the time of booking, means I woukd never book this hotel again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone else either. A shame and very disappointing and can honestly say I have not had this anywhere else.
