Bugs in the room, room was half clean. Bathroom looks like someone left lipstick on counter or nail polish in the bathroom that was covered up by hand towels. Will never come by here.

I left the room and after I got back the room smelled like feces I went to the front office to tell them And someone was peeping through the window at my girlfriend while I was at the front desk

I loved the design of our room. The king bed was comfortable, the amenities in the bathroom were good but the shower curtain was not so clean. The kitchenette is adequate and the front office provided us with cutlery, dishes, and cooking utensils as advertised. The gentleman checking me in was very friendly and helpful.

The first room we got the AC didn’t work, it was very hot but they moved us very quickly and smoothly into a room with working AC which was very nice. The cleanliness wasn’t the best. The bathroom wall beside the toilet looked like it had crusted over vomit splashes and it smelt foul and sour. There was also dead bugs in the corners of the rooms. There was a huge gap underneath the door that a cricket was able to crawl under, into our room and chirp throughout the night. I almost wanted to not stay the last night and cut the lost because of how gross it felt and smelled in the room.

The worst experience ever. I checked in this hotel on Tuesday this week. The room was filthy as hell like it is never been cleaned before. I woke up in the morning with tons of red bumps covering my body as in the photo I'm attaching. When I asked to switch my room next day, the service was very poor and the guy at the front desk gave me hard time to change the room. It turned out now that this is caused by bed bugs my family doctor told after looking at them. Bottom line, avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

Check in and checkout was fine, but the property itself was extremely run down. The biggest problem was that our nonsmoking room smelled like wet carpet and cigarettes. Although it wasn’t a problem for us, the counter in the kitchenette was all chipped up. The bathroom and the sheets were clean. The room was much cheaper than other options in the area, and we got what we paid for - a cheap place to stay.

This property is worn down. It's conveniently located but there are certainly no frills. The walls are thin and it's very dated.
On the plus side, the AC worked like a charm and the mattress was extremely comfortable! The convenience of the kitchen is a bonus, too.

The location is easily accessible to a lot of other areas that I needed to go to. The main thing that made me rate low is that the room wasn’t cleaned very well. There was still trash from a previous guest under the sink. The bathroom seemed to only be lightly cleaned cause someone else’s hair was on the toilet. There were ants on the floor before I brought any food into the room. I’ve stayed at other ESA properties that were a lot cleaner than this one.

Felt very unsafe there. Property stayed cooking kitchen and there were no dishes. Had to go ask for utensils and cookware. Staff did their best but the dishes were not at all clean .. when we checked in they said it is going to be continental breakfast.. but it was literally black coffee and muffins and breakfast bars .. in total I felt very unsafe in night with lot of people screaming and loud noises. Expedia needs to double check before posting great photos of insight property .. but it isn’t the case .. I took two rooms. Both were bad. The property didn’t even have a safe to store important stuff. All in all poor experience.

The interior of the room was clean, but that was it. The parking lot, the stairs, the hallways are disgusting. Trash everywhere and people smoking all over the stairs and outside the rooms. And not only tobacco.

If you like staying in a run down facility where the drapes don't close and you share your room with roaches and worms, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away from this place.

I didn't like the room need to be updated. The carpet has many stains and are deteriorate. Need update the bathroom cabinet and the air condition is so noisy.

It was a fine place to stay. Very convenient. Hard to find someone at the check in during the day. Had to ask for supplies for the kitchen in the unit.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had a stench that I could not alíviate after using a can of glade. The carpet was dirty. My socks turned brown when I walked without shoes for a couple of minutes. The kitchen and bathroom floors were sticky. The kitchen was very dated and dirt, non usable. The toilet moved when used because it was not properly secured to the floor. This was a horrible accommodation at any price and totally unexpected for the Fair Oaks (Fairfax, VA) area. I endured this horrible experience because I was only staying for 3 days. Completely unacceptable.

Mold all over shower curtain. Small, just gross all around. Afraid to open cabinets that there might be bugs. Noise motel like atmosphere. Grab and go breakfast is Coffee and small muffin. Others staying there are playing loud rap music, smoking and god only knows what else.

Our Flight was delayed by 2 hours. When we arrived at the Hotel, the fronts desk wasn't staff. Sign said, dial 0. When I dialed 0, the phone at the desk rang and rang. After about 30 min. a clerk showed up.

We stayed for one night in a two bed suite. It was difficult to find a front desk person to check in. You must ask for cups/plates/etc if you’d like to use the kitchenette. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean: hairs in the towels, cleaning supplies left in the bathroom, and my feet were dirty after walking on the floor. Loud music from our neighbors, and a shouting match during the night. I would not recommend staying here and would choose another property in the future.

While my stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The lack of weather seal strips on the entry door allowed smoke and noise from outside to enter the room, creating a slight odor that lingered for a few minutes. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been improved, as there were some cleanliness issues, such as urine stains on the exterior of the toilet. Despite these small issues, the hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant experience.

The second I walked into the room I could tell there was an issue with the room- the table was pushed out and the lamp shades were crooked- all over the room it looked like someone had pushed around and knocked over everything. there were holes all over the bedding and the smell was horrible.

Hello, I rented your hotel Extended Stay America - Washington, D.C. - Fairfax - Fair Oaks for one night. I returned to the hotel at 2 am, the card was not working. I went to the lobby and no one was there!! I waited until 4:30 and no one was there, then I went to the car and slept until 6:00!! Unfortunately, I rented a hotel and could not sleep in it!!! There were two others whose ball did not work!!! It is unthinkable that a hotel does not have employees، I couldn’t sleep because I have work at 7:30am 😢, Please I want a refund, thank you.
