We dod are search for hotel with pool and breakfast. Listed both. Found out later pool was down for last six months. Hamptons web site still showed it as did Hotel's site. When questioned staff they were a little rude. Also made reservation was for 2 tooms, 2 beds each. Got one king and a 2 queen suite. Worked out but not what was asked form.

Solid, clean 2 star hotel. Included breakfast offered eggs/sausage which is a welcome addition to the standard sugar/high carb items normally seen. Pool/hot tubs closed for renovation.
A very nice stay, but there are things to consider:
- the hotel allows pets. I requested an upper floor, quiet room which was granted...but then two families with idiot yappy terriers were put directly across from me. The owners stepped out for several hours one evening and the dogs barked non-stop. I alerted the hotel and they took care of it by recalling the owners (30 minutes later).
- frequent trains run right behind the hotel. No whistle, but you will hear them,
- access to the hotel is via a frontage road paralleling the Interstate. Honestly access to the hotel is not the best.

The hotel was great. Parking was a bit tough as the spots were full. Would have given more stars if the hot tub and pool were open. That was the main reason for booking this hotel only to get there to find it was not open fora while.

Had to call the hotel & then Hotel.com Found out the pool was closed. We booked this hotel months ago & Hotels.com DID NOT mention this on their website. By the time we realized this we could no longer get a refund. We booked this room so our grandkids could swim. Imagine the disappointment. The hotel directly would not consider a refund. The room was comfortable for our stay but not happy with the way the hotel would not consider a refund. They claim it is posted on. THIER website. I have no idea. IT WAS NOT on Hotels.com. Be careful when booking though them!!!!!

After a terrible previous nights stay elsewhere, I desperately needed a good nights sleep. I’ve always had good luck with Hampton and bit the bullet and spent the extra money and I’m so glad I did. Staff was kind, room was exceptional, bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The only thing I could comment that I didn’t love was the receptionist’s openness about politics and the pool/hot tub were closed.

Had booked this hotel for a Birthday/Family little weekend stay. Kids were excited for the trip and hotel pool. Check-In and pool is closed for the updates. Maybe should say on the website that the pool was down. Rooms were ok. Bed was somewhat hard. Had a hard time sleeping with the Mirror being right by the window. You can close the curtains but the mirror reflex the lights outside right on the Bed. Breakfast was good, Lot to choose from. Breakfast staff was very nice. Would recommend..

Hot tub pool closed. Ice machine empty and broken. No channel guide on tv. QR code for guide was incomplete with only a few listed. QR guest guide was not even close to be complete for other info like restaurants etc. room fine but not as nice as other Hampden inns we have stayed at.

Overall it’s a nice older property. The pool is currently closed for renovations. It’s was well kept but I would not say 100% clean. Definitely no bugs or other truly nasty stuff. We had our closet/mirror fall off and about take out my daughter. Very safe location. Staff were very nice

The hotel is nice and clean, and staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, lots of hot items (usually some type of eggs, breakfast meat and potatoes, also other items to make burritos or sausage gravy), waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruits, big selection of breads and spreads. They have coffee in the lobby all day as well as a cold drink and other snacks (like cookies). They also have bottled water for guests and sometime we saw lunch bags (with PB&J sandwich and an apple).
However, the pool and Jacuzzi were out of service (I assume for a while because it looked like under some type of construction or maintenance). Some floors were humid (like the AC was not working so well). My AC in the room didn't feel like it was working well at the beginning. It improved as I kept it on for a few days (I stayed 4 nights).

The property was conveniently located by the highway, which let me get to places like downtown and the stadiums very quickly.
The staff was very courteous and helpful, and it is the first Hampton Inn that I have received complimentary water bottles (two!l and tolietries). Hallways werent the most clean, but that was because there were renovations.

The property was clean and the staff was nice. That’s about It. The water pressure in the bathroom was terrible. The outlet in the bathroom kept shorting out when I was trying to do my hair. The pool was closed and I was told It had been for about a month. They had breakfast, but It wasn’t stocked hardly at all. Overall, It was pretty pathetic. Wish I would have chosen a different hotel.

I was very disappointed when we arrived at the hotel and we couldn’t get a room key. The system was down and our inter stay we had no room key we had to ask staff to let us in our each time we left the room. Than the juice maker was out of order when we went for breakfast. Not a pleasant stay for us.
