The room we stayed at, the floor was very dirty and there was urine on the toilet and floor. We called customer service and they sent someone to clean it, it still smelled like urine even after being “cleaned”. Nobody came to clean our room the following day, we called customer service who said someone was coming right away and they never did. The next day I downloaded the palace app and requested room cleaning and still no one came. My husband went to the manager to complain and was told someone would come to clean it. Earlier that day we ordered room service for breakfast, we spent the day at the pool and returned later that day to get ready for dinner and only to see that still no one came for the second day. I called customer service again, After we returned from dinner we saw the room had finally been cleaned. Also upon arrival we were greeted by a customer representative who offered to give us a day pass to moon palace, their other location. It ended up being a scam, we spent half the day on a tour and harassed into trying to get a membership. The female sales rep at moon palace was incredibly rude and dismissive after we had to be stern about our reply. After refusing the membership we were hesitant to take the day pass feeling uncomfortable and left after dragging our kids there under false pretenses. Otherwise the food at the resort and restaurants were excellent, waiters and waitresses were very attentive & friendly. But I wouldn’t stay there again.

Upon entry to resort the lobby is clean and staff were all polite. We paid to upgrade our room. Upgraded room was dusty/mold triggering allergies and a trip to the pharmacy down the street from resort. After returning to room the smell of raw sewage was unbearable, we had to be moved to another room. New room smelled better but had no working refrigerator, put in a request for refrigerator to be fixed. Received no feed back from staff on that request. On the bright side the food at the Smokehouse was delicious, the service in the sky bar and the sports bar were superb.

Staffs are very friendly and caring! Location is awesome, just off the beach.

The hotel facilities were outdated and dirty. The rooms were also dirty, the bedding was dirty and stained. We couldn't use the jacuzzi because the water came out yellow. Overall, the experience was not good at all for the money we paid.

Perfect location and overall great resort. Great pool area and beach area. I wish there was at least one more restaurant option.

All the staffs in the Tequila and Smoke House retaurant were great! I commend our room maid Alejandro, Tequila waiters Ernesto, Vladimir, Mauro and the lady cooking the omellete as well as the lady doing the tacos during dinner

I’ll start by saying I love the Palace resorts. The Beach palace has a beautiful beach but it’s not kept clean. The restaurants are hard to get reservations even when you’re looking into an empty dining room. The buffet is TERRIBLE. On a positive note the rooms are large and clean.

If you want to spend your vacation sitting beach side or playing in giant ocean waves, the Beach Palace Resort is ideal. I cannot say enough about the beauty of the beach - the soft sand, crashing waves and clear blue water were the highlight of our trip. The hotel rooms were large and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The food was excellent, as well. The reason I did not give this hotel five stars is because 1) the mandatory stop at the timeshare sales desk immediately following check-in (no thank you); 2) long waits at the elevators around meal times; 3) pool area is not very clean with cloudy, warm water - probably due to the fact that rinsing showers were non-functional during our stay (2 shower heads intermittently working, 8 others no flow at all) so most beach goers just rinsed off in the pools. Every staff person we encountered was very friendly. Oh - and one more thing that I didn't see on any reviews - there is a giant abandoned hotel right next door (formerly the Melody Maker). While it didn't bother us and provided more beach for the hotel, it just seemed so strange to have this giant hotel covered in graffiti and windows/doors broken out so close by. It shouldn't deter anyone from staying at the Beach Palace, but I think it's an important point.

Clean and safe property at the middle of the hotel zone. Very convenient for shopping and transportation. Service staff is awesome and so nice. Highly recommend for friends & family!!

It was an ok stay

Excellent all in inclusive resort for the cost. The beaches are beautiful. Dining was excellent. Staff and service was A . I was told the resort will be going thru major renovations very soon.

The property is horrible, old…, need full remodeling, too small, pool area horrible…, you pay too much for what you receive.

We were tricked into attending a high pressured sales presentation that was very time-share- like at the Moon Palace The pool was dirty, water was cloudy and smelled bad. I questioned if they even put chlorine in it and if it wasn't just a big toilet for people to pee in. During the three hour sales pitch at the Moon Palace we learned that the Beach Palace is slated to be demolished next year and clearly no money is being put into its maintenance and up keep.

The property itself is a little outdated, but the staff is great, service is great. The lights at times acted funny, water would seep out of the shower, not all knobs worked, minor things. The room does have a jbl there too to listen to your music via bluetooth. The food to the restaurants was great. They have a sports bar there in which the family can hang out and it was great. Top shelf liquor there too. The property next the hotel was abandoned and was a eye sore. And there was a taco shop right outside the hotel and everything is walking distance. For the girlies the hair products and utensils all Chi hair products you wouldnt have to worry about bring your hair gear. Over all it was great just needs some maintenance. I would love to see more mexican food in a all inclusive resort.

I would not return here as I don’t feel you get what you pay for at this price point. It needs extensive upgrading and overall cleaning. We had to continually ask for our room to be cleaned. The restaurants AC did not work very well. The best part of the resort was the food and the beach was very pretty.

Overall good. One thing sticks out the most. I feel like they tricked me into getting free resort credit for sitting through one of their sales meetings. Highly pushy salespeople who wouldn’t take no for an answer. It tool twice as much time as they told me it would take. I couldn’t even use the resort credit that I got from that. No spa… I could only use it to get cheap trinkets from the resort store. It ruined that day for my whole family. Other than that it was clean mostly, the staff was very accommodating, food was decent quality, and the view of the ocean was awesome. The hot tub in the room was a little odd. I think that space should have been used for a larger bathroom. Overall a 8.5 out of 10 for the price.

Constantly ask to go to the sister resort for a meeting.

Alfredo at the Sunset bar rooftop is the most phenomenal bartender i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. whatever beach palace is paying him is not enough! he helped make our trip extra special and if I could put him in my back pocket and take him home with me I would. thank you Alfredo and all the wonderful staff at beach palace. you all made our experience very memorable

Excellent staff and service . All are very professional and courteous. And the food in buffet and restaurants are delicious!!! Including the food in the 24/7 room service. We highly recommend this all inclusive resort!! Our family had a wonderful stay and will be coming back next time! Thank you beach palace !!

Beware of having a wedding , paid for beach wedding there and they set us up in front of the abandoned resort next door !Also set up with a jet ski right in front of-ceremony ! With a buggie board wall and flags !! When I asked staff to ask them to move they said they were mafia related and probably wouldn’t listen .Resort is not kept up !! They only want your money , if u book a diner and u don’t show up they charge you !!!!If u loose your bracelet they charge you !$150 a day I was told by reception !!Also if bracelet rips no excuses you pay $20!!!!! U are not treated right you are only money to them !!! Room flooded 2 hrs before wedding ! Moved rooms twice during stay , wedding party 2 rooms had to be relocated (no hot water ) We were told the day before the wedding the main table that we based our decorations after (fyi extra cost ) was not available . Didn’t even receive a refund , Beech palace is the first stay where I have to make a review to save other people from being taken advantage of , don’t believe beech palace I have pictures to prove everything ,They didn’t even clean the seaweed for our ceremony !u pay to have a wedding at a resort not at the neighboring beech in front of graffiti , Broken windows , missing windows . FYI they don’t let u play Bluetooth speakers at all at pool !!!! Don’t ever get married /vowel renewal or stay at beech palace !!!!!! Read all bad reviews, I didn’t !!!! Tell your friends !! There waiting list for restaurants iis a lie !!!

Good value for money

The staff, dining, and amenities are the best. For a week I was treated like royalty and had all my needs met quickly. The only area that I found lacking was the sports bar. On previous visits to the Beach Palace there were plenty of tables and chairs that provided a relaxing, cheerful atmosphere. Now there are few places to sit and the atmosphere is very cold and not welcoming.

Property was great. Both Jose's at the pool bar were super attentive.

I would commend the staff in this hotel, receptionist, bell boys, people in the dining areas were all excellent with their work. Our favorite is the rooftop at night, that you can drink and swim and see the beautiful view. My kids favorite is the Coffee and Sweet :)

The Beach Palace staff is top notch! They make sure you have a great vacation.

The room conditions are not good,matress is very uncomfortable and old ,coffee machine is old style and not very good quality. Staff are friendly and service is excellent.
