Beautiful hotel with great staff. I was welcomed and enjoyed one of the best beds I've slept in! Common areas and my room were very clean. Staff was kind and responsive. The lobby bar is beautiful and welcoming. I will certainly return, as I have stayed at other hotels nearby, but Sofitel was truly great.

We originally were booked at a hotel across the street and it was horrible. They gave me our money back I walked across the street.

Such a beautiful hotel with so many amenities. Room service breakfast was fabulous. Love the designer toiletries and the bath. Down comforter, fluffy robes and mini bar make this stay so luxurious. Check in process does take a while because staff seem to be trained to go over all the amenities in detail and there are so many. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

Our stay began with a marvelous doorman greeting us - his name started with a J- possibly Jameel. The hotel lobby and bar area were beautifully appointed and checkin was a breeze. Our suite was lovely although bathroom lighting is lacking. Drinks at the downstairs bar were very good and overall the staff were very friendly. We’ve stayed here before and will be back.

Food service very bad. I had 2 meals and experience 2 mistakes. Valet very expensive and it takes 25 minutes to get the car.
Breakfast did not have chocolate although is in the menu, so if you don’t drink coffee or tea the is no option mainly when you have kids. I did not left service at the restaurant as the service was not good but they added 10$ without asking… I caught it at the check out.

This Hotel used to be so special. Now the rooms and hallways are tired. Fees are high and documentation is out of date. Information on how the $20.00 credit worked and the reason for the "Urban Experience Fee" would have been appreciated. I can find out how much filet mignon for a dog costs but not why I am being charged $28.00 for nothing. Will not be back.

I've traveled all over the world and whether locally or internationally, choosing the right hotel is one of the most important aspects. From the moment we arrived, I was highly impressed with Sofitel Philadelphia. The location was unbeatable. In the heart of Philly near everything you'd want to see when visiting. The property is in a safe area, and offers fantastic shopping literally next door! Great on-site restaurants/ room service and plenty of other dinning options within walking distance.
Regarding the service.. From valet attendants to maintenance personnel, the staff at Sofitel was exceptional! The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I highly recommend Sofitel, and will absolutely visit again.

Great hotel! Somewhat limited contact with staff but everyone we did encounter was lovely and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Check-in was fast and easy, valet parking very convenient. Room was exceptionally clean, spacious and quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable. Not necessarily chic or modern, but very well maintained and somewhat updated. Mini fridge not provided but available upon request. Nespresso coffee in room was really nice to have. Neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance to everything.

We received an "upgrade" upon checking in. Good on the sq feet. 5th floor, view of A/C units in next building. No privacy doors on bathroom. poor room lighting. The food options are just terrible. You can't get standard American food. We stayed there a long time ago. Had to go back because the Rittenhouse was booked. This place is just not for us. All 4 treadmill TV's were broken. Do I need to say more?

We would like to give a shout out to our waiter during breakfast. His name is Michael and he was amazing. It was so great chatting with him in French and getting to know him. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. I would give them 10 stars, if possible. Nothing was less than perfect. Very Clean facility, very friendly staff everywhere, room was beautiful with so many details added to it, and they have a great restaurant/bar. I will recommend it for anyone that is visiting the area.

Here's what i found disappointing: when i checked out at the front desk, no one thanked me for staying there. I received a "safe travels," but not a word of thanks for choosing to spend my money at that hotel. I find that rude. Common courtesy matters.

Such a lovely and beautiful place, I Checked in super late the gentlemen I believe his was McLewis at the front desk gave me an upgrade to the presidential suite. Was very happy that room was so beautiful well decorated, spacious and super clean, the bathroom was to die for. I didn’t want to leave, I had breakfast at chez Collette, I really enjoyed my stayed, it is very convenient, I’ll choose it over and over.
