Started out with Hotels.com offering a "book now, pay later" option which wasn't honored. The hotel charged almost half of the entire stay at booking which would have been good to know. The front desk staff was lovely and so were the cleaning crew. The room itself smelled musty the whole time. I thought maybe it would get better after cranking the AC, but the smell stayed for the entirety of the stay and the carpet felt damp. There was also a bunch of rust and mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. They also charged a $100 hold until checkout which they didn't explain up front, so it looked as though I was overcharged. Nice people, just not great communication and the room needs to be taken care of so the next person doesn't have to smell that.

The staff was kind (special shout out to the gentleman who ran breakfast, he was beyond wonderful every day) and it’s conveniently close to the beach, but that’s about where the positives stopped. The room smelled horribly of musty mildew, like the carpeting must have gotten water damaged and just left. The shower corners and joints had moldy spots, the pool was disturbingly cloudy and had a light hanging in it which seemed possibly dangerous as it’s in water. There’s only one ice machine in the entire building and it was broken the whole stay, and the elevator randomly gets stuck on floors but the staff just say “yeah we know, it’ll eventually move”. We’ll be coming back to Rehoboth for sure, but unless there are some deep cleaning upgrades and changes we won’t be entertaining the Country Inn & Suites again.

Our stay was very good. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 4 nights and were not even given clean towels. Even after I asked the front desk. Thus no maid service. But good hotel and walkable to Dewey.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly! but only having one elevator for 4 floors was inconvenient, it was always held up and you had to wait a long time. The breakfast was not the best would have liked more proteins besides powdered eggs. The breakfast room is way too small to accommodate all of the guests in the hotel. If just seems like the hotel wasn’t built properly to handle the amount of rooms it has.

Excellent hotel!
The beach is 10 min walk. Restaurant is next block or 5-10 min drive. Many good near by. Downtown is 5 min drive or get Trolley bus from Callen st. (5 min walk)
Very clean, nice workers. They are very professional workers. Workers works hard!
Particularly Mr. Jon helps us at breakfast place a lot!
Wifi was slow, so I gave 4 stars; more than that, I was very comfortable to stay this hotel.

Nice hotel not too far from the beaches. Rooms were clean and a nice size, staff were all very friendly, and the free breakfast had a nice variety of options. All in all it was a great value, thanks for a nice stay!

It was a decent place to stay although rather old and a lot of imperfections noticed. The staff was nice although we got there rather late nearly 11pm it took them nearly 20min to come out to the desk and let us check in

I couldn’t get my room exactly til 4pm, when I tried checking in at 3:40pm. There were ants in my bed while sleeping. Other than that, it was okay.

Breakfast was terrible our first day on Monday, but then improved on Tuesday after a different person took over the kitchen responsibilities. Overall, the hotel should improve cleanliness, it was good but could be better. I didn’t see staff cleaning common areas like elevators, pool, or front desk. The suite room was spacious but outdated. All things considered, it was pricier for what they offer but unfortunately it’s what it is if you come on summer time.

The air conditioning worked and we appreciated that after riding 100 miles in 107 real feel degrees. Nice hotel and the lobby is very inviting. Breakfast was nice too and Joe making everyone waffles was like being home! Great breakfast staff overall kept things well stocked.

Our stay was great, we will definitely do it again! I only wish they stay came with some sort of parking pass for the beaches, even tho I used the meter I still ended up with 3 parking tickets 😱. They hotel was great tho, the staff was very nice and the breakfast was amazing!!

The staff were great. The pull out bed sheet was dirty/hair. The bathroom shower had black mold around fixtures. The carpet was so dirty that when you walked barefoot on it, the bottom of your feet were black. We would not allow the baby to crawl on the floor. The pool had black mold all around the inside just above the waterline. Chunk of hair on the metal post/lifeGaurd station. Very loud the 2nd night due to people running and yelling up and down the hallway late at night for several hours.

We love the area. It was close to the beach, restaurants & tanger outlet. The hotel was very clean & our room was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and quick to action on our requests. We will definitely book this hotel again.
