Great place !

Despite emails from myself to Hotel Europe inquiring about a third bed and cost and receiving an email reply that did not mention a charge, Hotel Europe decided to charge me a significant amount for a roll away bed. I showed them the emails and the receptionist working the morning of June 15 was rude and dismissive. No reason to stay here when other hotels are nicer, friendlier and don’t come up with hidden costs.

The hotel is NOT aware of the VIP perks, so none of them were given! That is not good if in the hotels website they say VIP! Please take a note of this

Lovely location, I arrived late at night so was given instructions on how to access my keys. Beautiful hotel & staff gave me all the help I required.

Beautifully furnished, small but lovely bathroom. Friendly and responsive front desk staff, excellent location a block away fro the opera, close to lake Zurich and short walk to the center.

I always stay at Hotel Europe when I visit Zurich. Great location, nice rooms, 2 blocks to train. And a spectacular restaurant for dinners.

Amazing service and gorgeous view! The room was nice and clean and the staff was so friendly. They even had an adapter for my electronics when I asked! I'll choose this hotel in the future as well. Highly recommended!

Very nice space to stay. Close to everything in Zurich

We stayed in Hotel Europe for three nights - three fantastic nights! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we loved every moment of our stay. The staff were extraordinarily welcoming and genuinely friendly and engaged at all times. The room was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The WIFI was spotty at times but mostly the first night - it was ok after that. The elevator is tiny but so quaint. It works perfectly well and that’s all we wanted. We had zero issues with our stay and have zero problem recommending it. Fantastic staff, fantastic room, fantastic location…fantastic experience!

The staff went out of thete way to help us with everything.

Nice hotel super location, missed having coffee and tea making equipment in the room.

Concierge helped us with bags, train tickets, finding lost handbag, getting taxi service to train, everything perfect.

Centrally located in Zurich a block behind opera house. Friendly reception staff. Rooms large for a city break and clean.

Disappointed that when we arrived Friday evening we were unable to use the bar or the restaurant as it was closed for a private event!! The man in charge was very unhelpful even rude just saying it was closed for a private event !! I asked where should we go and he just shrugged his shoulders! Ended up next door in the ambassador hotel mush better and spent my money there instead of our hotel !

Wonderful property, amazing staff. It was absolutely perfect! Traveling with a small dog as well. Close to all of the sites and easy access in and out of old center. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful! We enjoyed the location and the restaurant was wonderful. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable.

Nice area in Zurich with plenty of restaurants, cafe and shops around. Friendly reception personnel and hotel is well maintained. The rooms are decorated in a Victorian era theme with striped wall paper on walls which needs repairing in some places. Bathroom was comfortable, bed was ok, the restaurant breakfast was good and the staff as well yet it’s definitely not worth 250 euros a night.

The rooms are traditional, so don't expect any mod cons. But the beds are exceptional, the breakfast delicious and the service is outstanding.

Room gets very hot with no option to increase AC to cool it off.

2minute walk to lake Zurich waterfront,across road from opera house,close & next to other hotels,restaurants,stores,tram stop.Staff were really nice and helpful.Definitely will stay here again.
