The services is horrible to get service in the restaurant and buffet is terrible if you don’t go and get or find what you need you will not be served went you ask the waitress for something they give you attitude they should training more they staff

The water system is not good. You have to get your own water from a filter on the first floor and I was on the 3rd floor and it was inconvenient. The water didn’t taste good therefore I had to buy water outside the resort

Air conditioning was basically non existent. At coldest setting room was still uncomfortable, we were part of a large group and this was the case in everyone's room... and these were the "upgraded rooms". A lot of locals on the weekends visit the resort. I enjoyed the food, but others in group got diarrhea. Wouldn't visit again. Go to Punta Cana with the newer resorts

Iberostar is not the same as prior years ago. The food quality has dropped drastically they changed the Brazilian restaurant for Mexican which was a terrible mistake. The property is too old and needs a lot of upgrades and renovations.The AC not working properly. Not warm water, no conditioner because the cleaning ladies don’t check. The employees most of them are annoyed and give you attitude. On the other hand, they charged me an extra charge that I do not know for what. Not to mention that this is the most expensive resort in Puerto Plata. Will not visit again.

I’ve never been so disappointed in a resort. I visited another Iberostar previously and it was amazing. This one was nothing like that. I decided to go there based on reviews and even a recommendation from a friend. I do not recommend this place at all. I normally don’t give negative reviews, but this place was pretty bad. Other families there expressed they felt the same way. Pros: The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. The Mexican Restaurant was amazing and Sakura was good. Cons: The rooms are extremely outdated and poorly cleaned…we were given the first room with horrible humidity to the extent that our bedding was damp and the room had a terrible smell. We asked to be changed to another room, and that room had the ceiling fan practically falling out of the ceiling and the same bit of hair (not ours) was in the bathroom sink corner all week. The pool always had stuff floating in it (hair, bugs, cups, etc), the buffet had same food most of the time and was not really good (we ate a lot of the same “safe” things all week), Italian restaurant had bad service and bad food. Best food we had all week was at a restaurant outside of the resort.

This property is dated. The pool was dirty. The staff was very helpful when my friend and I wanted to check out early.

It’s a very good hotel property was beautiful staff was very good the only problem I had was the food at the buffet it wasn’t good at all need to fix that.!!!!!!!

It was ok

From the check in which was 2hrs late to the AC breaking down and the constant banging on the roof from the workers early in the morning our stay was terrible.!! But, thanks to Sr. Jordan, Rambo, Speedy. Pikachu and the attentiveness of Starlin our stay turned out to be a memorable one. It was fun being around them all. They are truly a professional team

I liked the resort but found some of the staff specially in bars and restaurant to be rude or not that friendly except for Genesi and Dulce that were always friendly and polite. The food selection was not the bes kind of the sane thing every day but overall hotel is good. This was my second time here but don’t think I will come back.

Resort is nice and food is good, but some employees really don't care about their customers. Brayln at the front desk will lie to your face and tell you that he reports issues to maintenance. Check in took about 2-3hrs because of him. I reported certain issues the room was having to Brayln and he lied to me about reporting it to maintenance. I had to speak to several people at the resort to fix the water leakage in the bathroom. If you decide to stay at this resort and you get Brayln at the front desk, prepare for your vacations to be doomed. The peacocks at the resort can do a better job than him.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Excellent service. The only thing I didn’t like is that the hotel doesn’t allow taxis to enter to pick up guests. If you call a taxi you need to walk outside the hotel. Some drivers told me that paying $ 10 dollars to the security they let them enter the property. When I checked out I had to walk with my luggage outside the hotel. It was disgusting.

The whole staff is rude, when asking for drink at the bar they walk away as your talking to them. I had to go to the lobby because someone keep calling my room and hanging up, they where also rude and not willing to help. The pool was so dirty you could tell they dont clean it. My sheets felt moist all the time and smell. When I call to have them change the lady was giving us dirty looks and attitude. I will never return there, if you want a good experience go to Punta Cana as they actually care bout their quess and they are happy to help with any need to have.

The staff was very friendly. However, the rooms and pool were not as clean, and the food was average. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this resort or recommending anyone to stay there.

The wait for check-in was very long, the staff at the front did too many things and created delays, only one person had to take the phone, attend to the person who arrived and much more, I think they should put more staff at the front, the food was excellent and very varied, the staff was very friendly and cheerful, the rooms were clean,
