My wife and I run a family Events and Party planning business, which causes us to frequently travel for business and pleasure and So we choose the Hilton in the area because we’ve always had a goods experience with their staff and the facilities as a whole.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! My 2bdrm studio room was spacious & clean. Breakfast service area was well kept & offered many options. I noticed carpet cleaning & maintenance throughout my stay which is a good sign that the hotel is constantly being taken care of. And pool was clean & fun too!

I had never been to Goldsboro before and i was trying to find a decent place to stay with my kids while beong out there for a week. The reviews had me a little worried but comparing to the other hotels i figured this one might be the best shot. .i was not disappointed. Nothing against the other reviews but my experience was amazing. I stayed here with my 4 kids 3 days and them came back for another 2. Great hotel. Super comfortable bed...very clean. Breakfast was basic and waffles were gross but staff was nice and Breakfast still wasnt bad. Hotel pool was nicer than it looked on the pictures too. . Definitely will stay here again if i come back out.

At first glance the room is very nice and spacious. The only issue is that the bathroom slide door does not shut properly and it does not lock. Overall the hotel seems nice.

Dirty as heck. Requested room service for 4 straight days before anyone did anything about it moved me. Dead roaches, dirty tube, dirty carpet, poop on floor, snot on the wall. Have picture of it all and video

For the most part we enjoyed our stay.
The shower had mold that was concerning in room 317 in Goldsboro.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The warmer was broken so no breakfast sandwiches unless you could find help but that was slow.

The Hotel seemed cleaned, the check-in counter hostess was amazing. I think her name was Georgia or Georgina, the spelling is probably wrong also, but none the less, she was awesome to speak with and very informative! Every questioned answered and with a wonderful genuine smile.
My disappointment is this...
I called ahead of time week before to make sure the "pool was open". the other person on the phone said it was and we could all go swimming. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU THE DANG THING WAS FRIGID!! My main reason was the indoor pool for my kids to play in, they could hardly stay in the pool no more than a minute or so!! YOU all really need to explain if something is broken or not.....I most definitely wouldn't have booked here knowing the pool heater was broken.!! If we werent so tired and hungry, i probably would have cancelled the stay at this one hotel until they got the pool fixed!!

Room was hyper humid and smelled of stinky socks. Stayed in that room one night. They gave us Febreze to see if things got better. It didn't. We moved rooms and although the next one was slightly less humid, the smell was the same. Air conditioning units must all be malfunctioning. Staff must know this is a known issue because they had lots of bottles of Febreze available. Most expensive hotel in Goldsboro.

The pool was freezing. Heater was broken. Asked for sheets for the pullout sofa and was told they had no fitted sheets. They said we could get flat sheets but clerk said come get them yourself. Couldn’t get towels.

We stay at this hotel twice a year as we travel to and from Maine. Sadly, things are starting to deteriorate at this hotel. The window shade was broken, the shower had very low water pressure, mold on the wall near the pool, you need to hire a motivated maintenance supervisor and spend some money on repairs and upkeep!

Horrible experience. Door was open when we went to our room. Asked for a new room and after trying 2 other rooms 1 smelled of diarrhea the other a guest burned sage in and front desk wouldn’t clean it or change linens. We went back to initial room assignment. The door would not lock from the outside unless staff used a crow bar to lift and close it. Management was not available to speak to and all other hotels in area were booked or would have relocated. A room with a door that does not lock properly is absurdly inadequate. Side door to hotel was out of service and no working ice machines in the hotel
