Booked because of location. Gentleman at front desk was rude. Property needs repair.

The property needs a serious upgrade. It smelled like slob in the vestibule. The elevator smelled the same. The room smelled like smoke and slob. The carpet was nasty. The only good thing was it had fridge and microwave, it was near restaurants, and you could take a HOT Shower!!! Not worth $100

Dirty rooms, dirty hallways. Escalator is falling a part

1) Broken toilet seat 2)VERY noisy heater/air conditioner. 3) missing hair dryer. 4)TV positioned so that you COULD NOT SEE the screen when in bed. 5)missing face towel. 6) window curtain didn’t work/ didn’t cover entire window. 7)walls had gouges. 8)only one chair. 8) If the room actually had a queen sized bed (as advertised), the “queen” must have been a midget. 9) The room was supposed to be for “a couple”, but had only one chair. 10) The bathtub leaked!

I thought I was at the Bates Motel. Seriously disgusting. I rode with friends and did not have a vehicle or I would have drove off into the sunset. The room (I have pics) was gross. I had to take the comforters off the bed and put on the floor just to walk on. I had to use soap and a wash rag to wipe down surfaces. One bed was broke and leaning side ways. I booked the room that was a double bc I was having a friend meet me. After seeing the conditions I told them to not come bc it was embarrassing. I was a GM of a hotel and this was the worst as I’ve seen. Brand standards is not met, housekeeping needs to be re trained. There is no excuse to put someone in a room with that type of filth. Thankful I was only stuck there 2 nights until my ride came back for me. Dirty stained toilet, fan did not work in bathroom, connecting door to next room had no type of lock. I was scared someone would come through connector door. Main door also did not have chain, it had been removed. Stains on floor, dirty surface areas. The pics speak for themselves.

The place smelled bad. Everything was old, worn out, not very clean. It needs to be closed down permanently, or at least until remodeled.

It’s not the ritz but it’s decent , safe and a good value for the price.

Guy that was working the desk didn't want to be bothered, more interested in his phone. The whole 2nd floor smelled like weed.

I just needed a place to sleep for the night because i was out on work, Quiet, clean, comfortable .

We did not actually stay at the Super 8. I had requested a handicapped room and they did not have one available. I am in a wheelchair. I looked at a room they had on the first floor, but I could barely get my chair into the hall of the room and certainly could not use the bathroom. The room looked small and not very clean. The entrace/lobby to the hotel was really dirty looking and I immediately did not want to stay there anyway. I do have to say the staff was helpful and called the Ramada Inn next door and we were able to get a room there at the same price. So I give the gentleman at the office credit.

I would never refer anyone here! The hotel is old and in disrepair. The room smelled and was not clean. It was so bad that we left after 2 hours of trying to make the best of it. The only good thing I can say about this dump is the front desk. She was nice and courteous. I feel sorry for her because she has to work there. Even her space was horrible! Don’t waste your time or money sleep in your car.

Very run down place. Thread bare sheets and towels. Breakfast was only coffee and granola bars. Will not be retuning. I will say the woman at the front best was very good.

Will very rude counter service and the smell of the person who served us was terribly bad

We will never go back to this hotel it was the worst experience we have ever had as there is no breakfast as advertised and bugs everywhere the toilet was moving and the water didn't shut off as we let super 8 know they said oh well worst experience ever

the room where nasty smell like weed the bathroom sink was clogged. At soon you open de hotels entrance door smell like weed and the whole hotel. I have asthma and ended with asthma attack

The parking lot was dirty and unlit. There were several people standing outside next to the entryway smoking and loitering. My wife and I had to walk through the smell of cigarette smoke to enter the building. The tile in the foyer was broken and the lobby was dark and dirty. The room had one working light.There was only one bed and the pillows looked as if they were washed in a machine and left to dry in a folded in half position. There wasn’t even a couch in the room. We were in the room for less than five minutes before we decided that the room was unsafe and unacceptable. I spoke to the desk clerk and told him we were not staying and asked for a refund. He told me that I would have to speak to the third party booking agent,Expedia we only spent ten minutes in an unacceptable location. I have spent many nights in hotels all over the world and I can honestly say that the Super 8 in Hammond Indiana was one of the worst.

Great customer service. Good stay.

The motel stopped giving breakfast as mentioned on Internet

There were spider web at the window and dirty, holes in the wall/ no door stopper, curtains were raggedy looking from outside , most of the guests looked homeless as if they lived here, someone knocked on my door at midnight and didn’t say anything and disappeared. Only one useable out of reach electrical outlet by the bed/ no usb outlet and the person above me was very noisy walking around after midnight like it’s a party!

WiFi sucked. The room was musky and it was an awful experience. I wish there was more to do around where I was.

In today's market you get what you pay for. That said our 1night get away from the family was great! For this place being a no frills place it was clean. A sit down restaurant is across the parking lot.

Heavy cigarette smell. Looks like someone tore off farmica that covered the sink base revealing old adhesive.

I was tired after a long day of work when a rat ran all of the sudden. I went to the front desk and explained the situation, they offered to kill the rat or to move to another room. I took option 2 of course.

The front desk night guy was lazy to the point of not wanting to get out of the chair. Horrible attitude even if you paid him more he would have the same attitude. A mouse was in the room. Front desk guy didn't care. This is a dump.

Super8 looked clean but there was movement in the room I sat up looked again it was a big ass mouse I called the front desk at 1AM he said I can move you to another room I said ok can you help me he said I can give you a key I moved to another room that had roaches omg I called the front desk back the he’ll management will be in at 8, they did move me to another hotel but I’m home & I can’t bring my bags in I have to leave them outside to make sure I don’t bring any bugs in my home

No hot water in shower. Room lights didn't work. Staff did nothing. You should refund my money!

It would help if these hotels had true descriptions of their amenities. specified accessto an OUTDOOR POOL. THERE WAS NO POOL.
