outstanding place… highly recommendable

Beautiful view of the countryside.

It was hot and humid in our room. I asked about air conditioning and was told it was not available until the summer months. We were given a fan to use which helped but it was miserably warm and we barely slept. The hotel is nice, very limited parking and the hotel clerk did what she could to help.

Quietly located setting, slight uphill walk to Plaza Mayor. Reception staff really friendly and spoke excellent English. Helped us with our departure taxi. Rooms are on the darker side, need more lighting.Breakfast 10 Euros per person sufficient choice.

Very quaint hotel in the heart of Segovia. Stayed here 24 years ago and still think it’s the best place to stay. The most wonderful breakfast!

We stayed overnight 10 min walk to Alcazar and little forget to Cathederal. Public parking nearby as they have limited parking space at hotel you have to arrange in advance . Buffet breakfast €10 euros .

A charming spot in a quiet part of the old quarter of Segovia. It was easy to arrive walking from the bus station. It was easy to walk to all of the historical parts of town (Plaza Mayor & Cathedral, Alcazar, Aqueduct). The rooms are pretty and comfortable and charming although not super modern. I would definitely stay again!

We got a room on the first floor near the elevator with a view on a tiny courtyard and 3 huge pipes. There was no natural light at all. The room was ok, but the bathroom was too small. Soundproofing is the next problem! We could clearly hear other guests in their rooms, people walking along the corridor, up and down the stairs, work of the elevator and water pipes. We asked for a parking spaсe beforehand and received a refusal on the day of arrival at the hotel. Overall, the cost was huge for such a low level of service, would never recommend it!

Very good breakfast

The staff were excellent and the room is comfortable with nice amenities. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a bit noisy and my room was extremely hot, but the only windows open out onto a busy outdoor path so I was not comfortable having them open.

Lovely hotel and staff. (Shame the plumbing’s a bit noisy - but I still recommend it.). If you’re driving, pre-book the car park down the hill 19 Euros instead of 25!

We loved our stay. Worth upgrading to too with view. Was magnificent - overlooking g the valley and monastery. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Rooms simple, but a perfect spot for exploring Segovia Underground car park a real bonus if travelling by car. Highly recommend.

I loved the location, style and history. I couldn’t have wanted anymore.the staff was incredible and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a large selection of breakfast items.

First and foremost, the employees were very friendly and helpful. My review is based on the hotel itself not the employees. The walls are super thin, that you can hear every time someone flushes the toilet from above and next door. Throughout the night, there was a piercing sound that would come and go, I believe it was from the door but couldn't pinpoint it. The window panels didn't close so I had to put a chair against it to keep it closed. This is more of a 2 star hotel/motel, the quality is more similar to a Best Western. The place is right in-between of the Plaza Mayor and Alcazar, each about 10 minute walk. Another down side is there is no nearby cafe shops or restaurants, you have to walk to the Plaza Mayor. The rooms do not have a coffee or tea kettle.

The check in didn’t start well. I was travelling with my elderly mother (74) who was not able to find her ID card at check in and the receptionist was reluctant to give her a room. I was wondering what it would have happened if she had forgotten it at home. Would she have been denied a room to sleep? We were given rooms at the level 0, next to the road and very noisy every time there was a passing car. The floor was dirty, badly mopped and with dust or food crumbs. There were spider webs in walls and door frame.

I did like the service and attention of the staff very much however the bathrooms are very uncomfortable specially the shower makes no sense the way they are put together

Amazing all around. Short walk for everything in the historic part of Segovia. Very clean and quiet.

Great town. Confusing hotel. Do not follow hotel desk guidance to parking!!! Ask them for the address of the garage and use your sat nav instead to save lots of trouble in the narrow streets… Also quite hard to find your way around the hotel. My Room 101 was on floor 4, for example!

The hotel is quiet and out of the way from the tourist area. Nice hotel. Clean. And lots of character. Definitely worth it.

The hotel has friendly and really helpful staff, especially Andrea at the reception desk gave a lot of effort to help us! As the Old Town of Segovia is on a rather steep hill, the entrance is on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator taking you to you room whichever floor you are on, and down to the breakfast area. Our room on the 3rd floor smelled a bit of tobacco when we came, but after airing a bit, it was all right. Bathtub and big, double, comfortable bed. Varied breakfast buffet. If anything was not top, it must be that sounds from other bathrooms travelled very easily through the walls, it sounded like one from a neighbouring room was in our tub..! And the first night we had to park in a nearby parking house as the hotel's parking was full. This was expensive, so those travelling by car should make a parking reservation ahead 15 Euros a day).

Receptionist gave us wrong information and got our car towed just be careful besides that issue everything was great and segovia it’s a magical place must visit..
