Best place to stay when visiting Mont Saint Michel!

The property was easily accessible through the public transit system. The shuttles to and from the mount stopped right in front of the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the convenience to Mont Saint Michel is second to none.

We were unaware that to access the property that a code was required and was note provided on the reservation. Were stuck blocking traffic at the gate. On a positive side, it had easy access to the tram and the on-site restaurant was fantastic.

Convenient location. Transport to mt. St. Michel was easy and accesible. Hotel is well kept and clean. Parking on hotel site says free, but one cannot get out without paying in the gate. How is that free?

Good enough hotel at the historic Le Mont Saint Michel. Bus from hotel to the site included. Rooms are fine. Can’t get ice or other room service unless restaurant next door is open.

Great location near the river and Mont St. Michel. Large and comfortable room, great bed, clean. Breakfast is in the neighbouring building/restaurant and was super.

It was a great overall experience and had everything we needed to visit Mont Saint-Michel. The hotel has parking, breakfast in a restaurant next door, and the pick-up/drop-off of the shuttle is in front of the hotel. The room was spacious (for European standards).

Perfect location for Mont St Michele. Very comfortable beds and helpful staff. Make sure you get code to barrier before you arrive although we called and they were immediately helpful.

Location to Mount St Michel is very convenient. But it’s a basic functional hotel with no frills.

The hotel is in a great location, and with easy access (including being at the bus stop) for Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are very big and the bed is comfy, although the layout is odd, given the the number of compartments (e.g., toilet is separated from the bathroom). Walls are pretty thin. MAJOR ISSUE: Upon entry, there were a number of mosquitos in the room. I swatted a few and hoped that would resolve the issue, but they just kept coming (the window was left open). I informed the front desk, and because the hotel was full, they effectively told me I was out of luck. They dropped off some bug spray and told me to leave the room for 45 min to air out the room after it was used. Given it was very late, and there wasn't really any common space, I didn't have anywhere to go. This made for a frustrating experience since I would've expected a nicer 4-star quality hotel to at least fumigate the room and apologize for the experience. Sadly, didn't get a good night sleep, and wish I would've stayed elsewhere.

Location and ease of access to MtSM Rooms could have a bit more “charm”, but v comfortable

4* tourist hotel conveniently situated within walking distance (40 mins) of Mont St Michel, amongst some other hotels. There is a free shuttle to and from the Mont all day. French day visitors use the coach/car park and quickly fill up the shuttle. The parking system is far too complicated and results in queues to exit and pay. Most people stay 1 or 2 nights whilst visiting the Mont which allows early morning or late evening access without the crowds.

Perfect hotel to stay in to visit Mont St Michel! Staff was amazing. Our hotel room looked like it was recently remodeled, it was gorgeous. You do need to make a dinner reservation in advance so beware of that, you can't just show up when you want to eat. Shuttle service to MSM is easy to use, runs every 12 minutes. We went at sunrise & there were very few people at MSM. When we left about 2 hours later, MSM was super crowded. I'd advise to go early.

A typical 3* tourist motel with a $10/night parking. No elevator to the 2nd floor

Was never told at check in that one had to make dinner reservations at all local restaurants. So when we went for dinner none was to be had throughout entire village.

Location close to Mont St Michel which I was there to visit

This was an extremely handy location to visit MSM. Used the parking code to enter La Caserne area, parked right in front of the hotel and walked to the Abbey and back again which we really enjoyed, especially since the bus queues were very long! Hotel had a very good breakfast and we had dinner there as well which was also good. Very glad the hotel restaurant was open as many hotels and restaurants on the mainland side of the bridge were closed for the season even though the visitors seemed to be numerous. Staying here was a great decision logistically.

Geeat service, quiet, clean. We had a good rest before the walk to Mt St Michel and back.

Only stayed one night but room was clean and bed was comfortable. All new.
