The area where hotel is is behind a barrier and the hotel provide an access code in order for you to retrieve an access card. It costs €12.50
Each time you leave, so if you leave and enter twice in a day, that is 2 x €12.50. If you are there for more than one day it is min €12.50 per day.
Area is lovely and quiet around the hotel. Hotel itself is clean and basic, restaurant is fine too. Loads of parking. There is a shuttle bus to the Mont every few minutes, very handy. Be prepared to walk back as it gets really busy on way back.
There are a number of restaurants nearby, all associated with hotels and a snack bar am road the road. As you can imagine everything is a little bit pricey in the shop, water, chocolate, etc. I believe most of the businesses in area are owned by one of two individuals, the Lord Mayor and ex Lord Mayor.
Staff at hotel were friendly too.

Great location, friendly staff, lovely in room bathroom facilities. Overall average accommodation as room too hot (duvet on bed in hot weather) and air conditioning/heat system impossible to operate effectively. Window does open but you can’t get up and down all night to keep opening and closing it so didn’t sleep well. Breakfast ok, breakfast room lovely and kept clean. Overpriced for quality of accommodation but fabulous to be able easily to access the Mont St Michel from there. Free shuttle very close. All in all enjoyed our visit to this iconic place and the ease of access and comfortable ensuite facilities made up for the uncomfortable aspects.

The property was easily accessible through the public transit system. The shuttles to and from the mount stopped right in front of the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. Would definitely stay again.

We were unaware that to access the property that a code was required and was note provided on the reservation. Were stuck blocking traffic at the gate.
On a positive side, it had easy access to the tram and the on-site restaurant was fantastic.

Convenient location. Transport to mt. St. Michel was easy and accesible. Hotel is well kept and clean. Parking on hotel site says free, but one cannot get out without paying in the gate. How is that free?

Good enough hotel at the historic Le Mont Saint Michel. Bus from hotel to the site included. Rooms are fine. Can’t get ice or other room service unless restaurant next door is open.

It was a great overall experience and had everything we needed to visit Mont Saint-Michel. The hotel has parking, breakfast in a restaurant next door, and the pick-up/drop-off of the shuttle is in front of the hotel. The room was spacious (for European standards).
