Loved the old school feel. The room was small but it had a bathtub! Very well located.Didn’t eat there but the dining room looked lovely.

The Splendid is in an amazing location. Right in the heart of the pedestrian shopping and dining area, with the beach, train station and attractions very close. Friendly service and an immaculate room welcomed us. The bed was very comfortableand the air conditioning powerful. We had a beautiful view over the promenade and harbour. The only small issue we had was we couldn't stream or watch anything from our phones on the tv and the wifi signal wasn't good enough for the Google Chromecast we packed. We had a rainy day while in Cannes so just watched tv on our phones. The breakfast is a bit overpriced and not amazing although the staff are great and sitting out in the morning sun on the patio is lovely.

Fantastic location in the heart of Cannes. We stayed with our two young boys and the staff was kind and accommodating. We will be back for sure.

A shining beacon on the Cannes seafront. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but I have not been since before Covid. It would appear they have decorate the rooms as my room had a fresh and new feel to it. They have not detracted from the traditional Cannes feel, but a great hotel. Great bedding, great location, good breakfast but don’t get the fascination of Olive soap and shower products

We stayed in a port view room for only one night, as we decided last minute to spend 3 nights rather than 2 in Cannes. It was a great, I wish we had stayed here the whole time. It is a classic, older hotel. Even though it's right on one of the main dining streets, there was minimal noise through the windows. Our terrace on the 2nd floor had a small table, chairs, and view of the port. The airconditioning worked extremely well. The room is small but reasonable, with bedside tables on both sides, and a chair. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large, but the only thing slightly out of date with a shower/tub combo that could have been a little more modern. But overall, great. I prefer this end of Cannes for access to the Plage du Midi over Plage Croisette, also more restaurants are on this side of the center too. Free towel service for the beach.

I loved this hotel! Location was amazing! We had the top floor corner balcony room and the view was great! There is construction going on but they compensated us with free buffet breakfast at check in. And when you were not on the balcony you couldn’t hear anything. It was a great stay!

Fabulous location, service, view, everything.

It is an older hotel with a small lobby but probably the best location in Cannes. The breakfast area is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable. I appreciated that there was a converter in the room for those who forgot theirs. The staff was pleasant and friendly. everything (toiletries, wifi, kitchenette) about this hotel seemed well-thought out and first rate.

Gréât location and the rooms on water with balcony have amazing picture perfect views. Good value for the quality and prestige. Pleasant reception staff and jovial breakfast. Definitely would stay again.

Location is perfect. Little tricky if you come by car as it is in a car free pedestrian zone. You have to drive all the way through which can be tricky depending on the time of the day. We got an upgrade to a huge room with a balcony and sea view. Rooms are outdated but with charm. Only one elevator for the entire hotel which will lead to some waiting times. Biggest drawback is that this is still a smoking hotel. The first room we got reeked of stale smoke.

Hotel very good Breakfast left a lot a to be desired poor value.Bathroom. Shower unit not good at all when you are older some people can not take a bath and use a shower no good at all in a warm climate.

the hotel was fine but we had problems parking as could not access outside hotel as road closed and the parking across road was closed by Police.So quite a walk to nearest overnight parking

This hotel was excellent. Pleasant surroundings, very clean, good breakfast and excellent staff. I was ill when I stayed,staff were very helpful, rang doctor twice and ordered taxi. Nothing was any bother. On our last day we were able to sit in lovely lounge on first floor while we awaited taxi. The owner was warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel

I found the hotel location and room to be very good, however the reception staff not.

Hotel Splendid is a first rate hotel. It is well situated. However parking is somewhat complicated. The rooms are very nice. The showers are interesting. We really enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace. My only complaint was with the check out. Easily our worst experience on this trip. The front desk attendant harassed us incessantly for being in the room beyond the posted checkout time. The behaviour was bizarre. However overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Splendid.

In very busy location where even dropping of the bags is a problem let alone parking your car in s public car park about 5 mins away. Old rooms that need renovating and bathroom is of poor quality.
