In general the receiving, halls and room looks good and well maintained but the issue is the water is very cold, no hot water, also the water was slow to drain out of the sink, the AC/Heater control looks like is not working, it was blowing air All the time but I changed the settings to have a more comfortable temperature but that never changed.

Loved having an open restaurant close to our room. The good was sooo delicious and they open til night hours. Free water bottles and friendly staff. Did not compare to Hampton Inn. This hotel was just right.

I am exploring the City of Tampico , looking for best places to stay and Food. I stay on a few more expensive Hotel in Tampico, and for the price, I highly recommend this Hotel. I will keep trying a few more on my future stays , but so far this is my best option for the price.

The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were comfortable in size, great beds and necessities. The property was well maintained, beautiful and peaceful. Our rooms were kept clean and well stocked with daily needs. The restaurant provided prompt service with delicious food. Due to my lack of speaking Spanish, the hotel staff always went above and beyond to be helpful in our communication. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here every time we return to Tampico.

Just a overnight stay traveling to Mexico always stay here with late flights since they’re centrally located and always give great service.

Overpriced! Quote 4 people room and they ended to raise the cost by 50%! Old hotel with lack of maintenance! Room laminated floor peeling off, gym with treadmills that didn’t work, no A/C on gym, other patrons having a very loud pool party with music until midnite. Terrible experience, I don’t recommend this hotel. In the past this hotel was iconic on the city, today is just the name.

It was dirty

The location was perfect, but cleaning wasn’t good at all , 4 days without cable and WiFi service , key card deactivated every day , I was expecting more from an hotel that has legacy in Tampico.

This used to be Tampico's best hotels back in the day so we booked thinking it would still be a good choice. Its price was comparable to other hotels which are newer, but I figured they would keep up the maintance of the hotel. We had a late flight in and checked into the hotel around 10 pm. Our room had a horrible smell (like mold) but we thought it was a combination of A/C unit coming on and the fact that the room was a little old. When we got into our beds to go to sleep, my daughter found some dirty toilet paper inside the sheets. On the other bed, there were little black crumbs. The restroom was not clean and the shower tub seemed old and dirty. Since it was so late at night, we requested to be moved to another room. We were moved to a room on the second floor, where the guests right across from us were having a party with loud music (and this was a Wednesday). We were so tired from the trip and it was so late that we decided to stay for that night. The following day, I requested a full refund and we moved to the Hampton Inn. Although the staff (receptionists and managers) were really nice and did not, at any time, refused to give me my money back, they could had informed us that the GAMMA hotel next door was a newer version of this hotel. We would had given them a chance given that the reason for our visit was a party that was going to be right across from this hotel. Instead, we ended up moving a farther hotel down Avenida Hidalgo.

The rooms are a good size and the beds are good. However the whole place is getting a little run down. Things like the cheap laminate floors and out-dated bathrooms don't make a great impression. The most irritating thing for me was the shortage of electrical outlets. Good luck using the coffee maker in the room because of this - you end up having to place it on the floor, or in the bathroom, because the short cord has so few places to plug into. The pool and gym are nice. The restaurant food is decent as well. I just wish it was easier to eat a quick breakfast without having to be seated and waited on. The location isn't bad but it is ridiculously inconvenient to try to cross the roads to the malls because there are no crosswalks, but that is a Tampico issue, not a hotel issue.

Nice hotel close to night clubs and restaurants, movie theater 🎭 and pizza 🍕. Great room cleaning And the personal professional. The pool was in great condition and the food service. Check-in and check-out was fast and concrete. Good in the gardening and secure area for the cars 🚗.
