A good old school European hotel, extremely nice staff, a decently large room with good space that was clean. Breakfast was really good, the staff were extremely helpful and kind even with a language barrier. About a 10 minute walk from the Ravenna Station, on a main road and the city is accessible in a short walk, was my favorite hotel on my whole trip throughout Italy. I recommend!

Only two things wrong. Outside shade had holes in it and it was not effective. Plus neighbors were a bit chatty. High ceiling. Big bed. Good hot water. Good tv. Checked me in early. Take first or second lane on right of station to a round about. Continue right, past a parking lot. A bit of refugees between that.

Good value hotel Location good - walkable ftom train station Noisy all night with traffic in front Bathroom shower space and unit could be improved - will be very attractive, of course with some price hike will serve good for all. The corner at the end of the street is dark and street by the bridge you walk along to the station is dodgy at night with concerning hanging out crowd in both areas.

I chose this Hotel after comparing the review of it and some other more expensive hotels on Expedia and another review site, I find this hotel gets bad reviews mostly because of its location. I didn’t mind some walking so I chose it. Upon arrival I found the room assigned had problem with AC, the front desk apologized and sent us to another room, which looked old but was cleaned thoroughly. The new room was supposed to be noisier than the street facing old one since it’s nearer to the railroad, but I didn’t feel any noise. The bed is stiffer than higher end hotels, but still comfortable. The hotel has room numbers printed on the floor and needs to have a small stick inserted in a hole near the door to have most electricity. I thought this was backward until I went to a major hotel brand in a different, a 4-star modern upscale venue that also had room number printed on the floor. However the bad thing about the stick is that a customer can take it off the keychain and forget to pull it out. That maybe was what happened to my first room with broken AC since it has prob. been working in bad conditions for a long time without the hotel knowing. The breakfast cost 5 euros per person so I didn’t expect much and. But it turned out to be very good, on par with the ones costing 12 euros each in my Italy trip. The location as I expected was bad, it’s about 18 minutes walk to the center of town. Surround places look quite less well maintained and seem not safe at night.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. I think it is a great value. My daughter and I felt safe staying here. It was very clean and the breakfast was good. The shower stall was very small, which worked for us because we are too, but a tall person might struggle a bit. It is a little old fashioned but I found it charming.

The location is great, a 15-20 min stroll to the center which is a big plus. The staff were nice and accommodating. But the room and bathroom were aged/worn but clean, no air conditioning (a big problem on hot days) and the wierd thing is that there was no ceiling lamp, only not-very-bright wall lamps. Not a big problem, just strange. The 5€ breakfast is a bit overpriced for what they serve. Overall, good value for money if you're not looking for brand-new facilities.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Al Cason. The accommodations were very good and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was within walking distance of the train station and the places we wanted to visit while in Padua. We highly recommend Hotel Al Cason.

You can walk from train in 10 mins.

Staff were super helpful especially in giving directions when I got lost. Within walking distance of station and old town. Didn’t try cafe but that is an option . Room was great. Only negative was only charging point in the room didn’t work so had to charge phone etc in the bathroom. Would definitely return

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Cason. The staff were so pleasant amd helpful. Although we didn't book with breakfast included we still utilized it at $5 per person. The hotel is very near to the train station amd the city cemter. We would walk to the train station daily, about 10 minutes and go to different destinations in the region. It was so convenient. Also the morning we left we paid $15 for 2 adults and a child to go to the Venice airport using Flixbus which has its bus station across the street from Hotel Cason. Download the Flixbus app to book. It was perfect and cheap compared to other options. We highly recomment this hotel if you want to explore the Vemeto region.

The staff here is friendly, personable and helpful. It’s a short walk to train station and so the area around it is what you’d expect for a hotel near a train station— a bit rough around the edges but very convenient for doing a day trip to Venice. Because of the staff it was a very pleasant experience overall. Our room was very clean, and the food and wine in the restaurant was good.

Overall it was a good stay here. At first our rooms air conditioning did not work but when we got back at night they were very apologetic and they made it up by upgrading our room to a much nicer one. Overall I really liked it and for the price the first basic room and the fancier room were worth it. And it is a 5 minute walk from the trainstation which was a plus. Overall I had a great stay and the staff there was very nice

Far from center, nothing in the vicinity, horrible room overlooking train tracks with the attending noises. Simply deplorable.

Really wanted to like this place more than I did. On the plus side: convenient to train station, family owned Cons: noisy in the morning, breakfast is just so-so A bit dated

Easy walk to friendly eating spots. Modern clean appearance of the facility. Staff were very helpful. Downside were the noises from moving trains which never lasted long but could be quite loud. TV monitor was quite small and the remote was not responsive even with a new battery.

Older property, but well maintained.... included breakfast was superb.

Thr hotel was in a good location for the train station and also for buses into Padova. However, the are around the station was a bit run down. But we did not feel nervous as there were large groups of black men about the area. The hotel was a bit tied in appearance but the staff were lovely and breakfasts good but no bacon. Our room was clean and airy. TV was all Italian. Shower clean and towels replaced each day.

Had ants in the room. The air conditioner was loud and did a poor job at cooling the room.

Very good service

Good welcome from reception on arrival and very good recommendation from gentleman on reception for evening meal locally. Good location for proximity to the railway station for onward travel by train the following morning.

This was a fabulous hotel and location made all the better by the friendly and helpful receptionist Lucia who went out of her way to make sure we got all the information we needed to get the most out of our 2 night stay. The hotel is superbly located beside train station with trains every half hour to Venice for €3.50 for a 20 minute journey. Highly recommend in nice town with lots of restaurants and things to see..!

Actually the hotel located too close to the train station and the noise disturbs a lot. No fridge in the rooms. Staff is very polite and helpful and the breakfast is okay. Hardly I will visit this hotel again....

Everything was above expectation. Extended my stay for 1 more day.
