The staff that I was in contact with were very helpfull. I loved everything about the hotel. The downside was the beaches closed to the hotel had overgrowing seaweed(sargassum).

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly! I am platinum member and my package included early check-in. This was not honored and I had to wait until 3pm. The food was average and not many chicken selections and no kids meals. The room was wonderful and the view was fantastic. The restaurant doesn’t open until 7:30am but really 7:45am which is not ideal for early birds. Walk to Dover Beach is about 7-10 minutes depending on your pace. I would stay here again.

The property as a whole was pretty good. Location was great food was great. As far as cleanliness the lamp shades were really dirty and dusty. The bathroom was really tiny but it was new.

I stayed at South Gap previously however, this is the first time returning after the renovations/upgrades. The hotel is clean, comfortable, safe and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Each room has an ocean view which is beautiful. The pool is clean and inviting, the bar/onsite restaurant located very close by. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and kind especially Shareka at front desk who was very helpful in answering all questions during check in and during stay at the hotel.

Great central location on the Gap in walking distance to bars, restaurants etc. Free parking on the compound but there were not enough spots for the guests on the weekend. The room is large with a nice kitchenette and great views of the pool deck and the Atlantic. I had a late check in at midnight and the hotel was very accommodating to organize a taxi for me. But my linens in my room were so stained and dingy. The pillow cases were torn and had black stains. They did not replace the next day, but all the linens seem old and dingy. Two new bars opened next door and were loud enough to hear everything from the room late at night. Saturday night was the loudest. There’s also construction next door that starts at 6am. Staff were great, except once receptionist that seemed upset that I was asking about my Expedia VIP entitlements and upgrades. They were never offered to me until I asked.

As an Antiguan visiting South Gap hotel, I must say this property was the best experience I’ve had in awhile. I was impressed from the begin. I cannot think of any recommendations that I would advise the property to do different. Everyone staffed there was always pleasant.

My stay at South Gap Hotel was a remarkable experience. I loved the ocean view 💙 from my bedroom balcony. The room was spacious however the washroom area was a little small, but nothing a couple can't work with. The pool area is very beautiful 😍 close to the bar if you need a quick drink. The employees from the front desk clerks to the waiters and security are very polite and welcoming. I will definitely return.

This property was surprisingly good. I booked based on location and reviews and I'm so happy with the hotel. The service was great. The food and service at the restaurant was so so good. The staff were welcoming and fun. We stayed in the junior suite. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at South Gap. Our room was cleaned daily, staff were pleasant, pool and view were lovely. Food at the restaurant was delicious and plenty of it! Wish we would known about happy hour sooner. We were not bothered at all by noise, which I was concerned about. I would strongly recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation.

Little gem of a place right in the heart of everything St Lawrence Gap has to offer…restaurants, nightlife and beaches. All rooms are steps away from the water. There is no beach or beach access, but you are in walking distance to a beach. Each unit has a kitchen that offers everything you need, or there is a lovely restaurant on site also. Great air conditioning in each unit and a wonderful hot shower. Well maintained, modern and clean units. We would stay here again. Great value for the money

An amazing stay at what turned out to be an undiscovered diamond of a property. The hotel has an amazing view/ setup right on the sea with the friendliest and most attentive staff who leave such positive memories. I cannot fault the experience and will definitely be back next year along with a couple of friends who came to visit me one day and didn't want to leave either!

Stay on the side facing the water. The side facing the street is super loud because there is kareoke until 3am nearly every night. Staff are friendly, but service at the restaurant is glacially slow. Food is ok, but overpriced as you would expect. No beach access from the hotel, but good views of the water and the pool is nice. Air conditioning in the room was a godsend because it the island is very humid. Not the greatest location if you needed cabs because cabs are so pricey. But if you are driving it is great.

This property was recently renovated. The furnishings are still in great condition and better yet kept very clean. The staff is personable and friendly.
