This property is in a central location and has excellent facilities. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms very spacious and clean.We have stayed at this hotel 7 times now and would delivery recommend it to others.

I checked out of here two days early to move to another hotel. My room had quite a few mosquitos, the air conditioning wasn’t available until the end of the month and my room was too warm to sleep comfortably. But not having any outlets on either side of the bed was the clincher for me because I use a CPAP machine to sleep. The staff tried hard to make it right by providing a power strip extension cord, and offered to spray the room to rid the mosquitos, but I simply wanted to find another place and enjoy some restful sleep.

Arrived a little early as we were leaving from another hotel in a different part of Malta before arriving at the Santana, we were impressed with the outside appearance of the hotel until we tried to mount the stairs in the pouring rain, my husbands on crutches and although there is a ramp it was to steep and slick with the rain for him to use safely, after 5mins of struggling up the steps with 2 suitcases and helping my husband being watched by a staff member (no offer of help) I booked us in, as early was told we could put our luggage in storage and our room would be ready at 2pm, okay went into a lounge area for the football asked for keys at 2.15 not ready, seems a balcony had to be re-cleaned due to the rain!!, around 20mins later the receptionist arrived with keys, ground floor room lots of space, clean, tidy and disabled friendly, lifts to restaurant and indoor pool, buffet breakfast, plenty of and good selection, dining area better quality than others in the area, check out quick and easy and as going to a further hotel we were allowed to store luggage and watch the football, overall as this was a single nights stay we would book again for a longer period

It's a nice hotel. The zone would be beautiful, but for me they ruined the landscape by building too much.

Whenever I visit Malta this is the only hotel I ever book. Over the years there have been many enhancements to the property and the Santana just keeps getting better and better. Staff are always friendly and the hotel is situated in the perfect spot to get to anywhere on the island with the bus station very close by. Last visit I got upgraded to an executive suite, so thank you Santana! :) Only one slight niggle, the linen and towels are the next thing to upgrade, they’re all a bit thin and worn. But overall, a brilliant place to stay.

There was an issue on check out - reception team hassled me for a payment (which had been paid). I showed receipt and then emailed it to them. Their admin issue was not mine to sort. We had an unexpected knock on our door at 0200hrs. There should be tighter security on who they let into the hotel. We were two females and the man wanted to join us in our room! We were shocked as he had clearly followed us. Reception team were not interested in this report. We stay often here and this was the first poor service we have had

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Santana nice friendly staff very clean hotel lovely breakfast lovely indoor and outdoor pool

We have stayed here several times and usually always good ,this time we had a few problems with keys and the bedsheets were sometimes too small to fit the bed properly also our towels were not changed on two consecutive days , these were only minor problems and we did enjoy our stay .

I love this hotel stayed a few times and will stay again. My only only concern is the wifi and the tv, no wifi it didnt work and the tv only the news, No plug sockets at the side of the beds, and none near the large mirror,.the only plug sockets were near the desk Breakfast is fantastic, so is the indoor pool, the bar is inexpensive, overall the hotel is great

Vivi on reception could not be more helpful and cheerful 😃 need more in the world like her. My room was excellent breakfast was ok but all in all a great value stay would recommend it

Ok for the price paid but nothing more. Best were the numerous channels on the TV. Staff a bit rude and unprofessionnal.Breakfast behond standards. You get what you pay for.

We have had a great time with all this covid hotel very good and clean, room lovely everyone very helpful, my only complaint would be is that the food was not very hot but i would still go back thanks to everyone at the hotel

Regular visitor here. Always a good experience. The restaurant has been revamped and the menu is now very good and not the usual mass produced hotel food. Highly recommend The Santana

One of the best hotels that we have stay in The only thing we found was the room was a bit small and the twin beds not not have any gap between them

After arrival , check in was very fast. Reception were helpful. Room was on a good level however i was disappointed with the room. It hadn't been used in a while , broken bathroom door , shower water everywhere , no signal on TV and WIFI was EXTREMELY BAD ... had to keep reconnecting every 2-3 mins. Manager was called to the room and had the TV fixed , so that was good but the wifi situation was very disappointing. The bed was very comfortable however and had a peaceful sleep !! ... I would come back again however I would make requests

The Staff Karen, Anton and David was very friendly and professional and helpful. There was something I ate at breakfast the first morning, had an allergic reaction to something, maybe the Tuna???

I loved the chairs and table with ashtray on the balcony as we both smoke. We did not like to find that our bed cover was not clean, with hairs on it, a dent on the wall next to the bathroom (plaster was coming off) and the curtains of the balcony were not cleaned on the bottom and were missing some hooks.This was all reported on check in to Reception.We were told somebody from Management would have a word with us but didnt. Not a word, an email or a phone call. This was a 3 day stay.

The hotel room was clean and there is construction right beside the hotel but I was gone most of the day so it didn’t really bother me.

Looking out on building site and every morning woke at 7 am by them working. Room small only one chair. Shower tray leaked when used.
