When we arrived the hotel looked absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t wait to check into our room, our room was so lovely and was cleaned everyday which was ideal We were staying here with a large group of family and friends for a wedding in Italy. The first day unfortunately they ran out of a lot of food / drinks and therefore we weren’t left with many options, despite this the food and drinks were reasonably priced and tasted good. Staff members didn’t seem accommodating and made us feel like a burden asking for drinks / food Things went downhill when various items from a lot of family members went missing, one example being my own pair of sandals which I knew I left in the room, after multiple times asking if they were found a rude staff member said no repeatedly, I must have asked about 5 times. The day after (when we had flown home) one family member who was still staying there was adamant she saw my sandals behind reception, I proceeded to ring the hotel as I was back in England at this point saying my sandals have been found can you please hand them to a family member, I was dismissed and told again they haven’t been found and then I got hung up on. After back and forth via email and then unfortunately quite a stern email from myself the emailed me to say 20 minutes later that my sandals suddenly ‘appeared’. The staff were rude and dismissive throughout our whole trip despite the hotel being absolutely lovely.

We came back to Flaminia as a family 40 years (!!) after we'd been there when my sister and I were kids, and it was a wonderfully happy return. The staff were hugely helpful with our many, complicated transfer requests, completely gracious and patient. My husband and I were given a free upgrade to a fabulous room with lake view and balcony, and we all loved the breakfasts. The swimming pontoon is just as we'd remembered from 1984, and an amazing place to relax and swim from. I cannot wait to go back again, hopefully in a lot less than 40 years time!

Felt like we staying in a Hollywood golden era hotel .. was amazing .. reception staff were so helpful.. made our short break unforgettable .. amazing street concert one night followed by a visit to outdoor opera the following night.. we had a top floor suite which was extremely comfortable with spectacular views over the bay

Staff that works back deck is amazing!!!

Had an amazing stay, included breakfast which was excellent. Sunbeds by the lake are great and you can jump in to cool off. You need to wake up early to reserve your spot though which is the only annoying thing. Staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is excellent. You can swim in Lago di Garda right off the hotel patio. You do have to walk a bit to and from a paid parking lot, because the hotel is in an Old Town

Wonderful hotel

We recently stayed at Hotel Flaminia in Sirmione, Lake Garda, in July 2024, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location on the shores of Lake Garda offers guests the unique opportunity to swim directly in the lake, which was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel Flaminia is perfectly situated in the heart of Sirmione. The picturesque surroundings and proximity to historical sites, shops, and restaurants make it an ideal base for exploring the area. Check-in was efficient and welcoming and we were sent an e mail by the hotel 3 days before our stay, which offered an opportunity to reserve parking. Luckily we did as we arrived on a Sunday and the road was closed unless you had pre arranged parking. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed We had a balcony with a partial view of Lake Garda, which was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The standout feature of Hotel Flaminia is its direct access to Lake Garda. The private sun terrace with loungers and steps leading into the lake made swimming incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The hotel also has a cozy lounge area and a restaurant with a lakefront terrace. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful location inside the old town - make sure you check emails re. parking which was confusing for us when we arrived. You are provided a bar code for a parking lot outside the castle walls and a golf cart shuttle takes you up to the hotel. Make sure to book a shuttle for the way home because one was not available for us so we had to walk our luggage back to the car (only about a 12min walk but note this if you have luggage.) The hotel is directly on a lake and surrounded by dining and shopping, a great area to walk around. Included breakfast is great and we enjoyed the dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant. The lake view suite was beautiful. We loved the bathtub, modern and clean bathroom and the chairs overlooking the lake. No iron or streamer was available at the hotel. Most of the staff were lovely, especially the restaurant staff. A couple of the front desk staff were unhelpful or rude to us. Overall this seems like a good option for the area.

Hotel Flaminia was absolutely incredible, it had charm and all of the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Their little pier above the lake was absolutely beautiful with plenty of sun beds, there was bed service for drinks which was a lovely touch! The location was absolutely incredible. Only thing I would change is the fact they didn’t top up breakfast that often (scrambled eggs were cold, milk ran out etc) which didn’t bother us too much but there’s definitely room for improvement there. I would go back in a heart beat.

Staff were fantastic and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the deck with the lounge chairs. Grazie mille!

Beside the lake

Perfect location to walk to see the sites in Sirmione with waterfront access for swimming or lounging by the water! Our room faced the water and had some flying insects and a spider 🕷️ that the maid missed in the ceiling (prior guest must have left doorway open) but the maintenance man came up as soon as I called and cleaned it away. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

Well situated. Great deck on the lake with bar/restaurant. Very clean. Parking and luggage transfer via municipal lot and EV golfcart at extra cost. (Very easy and quick.)

Fantastic location on the water. Good breakfast and good service. Hotel is a little dated some parts are updated others not. Nice but for the price $450/night we expected a luxury hotel. Terrace is peaceful and the best part.

This property is in such a good location in Lake Garda and we really enjoyed our stay. The sun deck was a particular highlight as it was great to jump into the lake on a hot day. Breakfast was good and the room was decent. Thankyou

An amazing location and great breakfast included. We came as a family of 3 and the room was great for our stay. Located near the ferry and many great restaurants. The staff was fantastic during our stay. I would recommend and stay there again.

Fantastic stay - the hotel itself seems quite new and located conveniently for exploring Sirmione by foot. Rooms were very spacious with complete amenities. Through there is no parking at the hotel itself, the hotel’s parking reservation and shuttle system was seamless. Would highly recommend!
