This is our 3rd stay at Cielo when we go to Bishop for fall leaf changing. It is a great location for us. The bathroom was small and the towels thin but very clean.

While the staff was great and the hotel generally clean, the rooms themselves were a huge disappointment. Furniture was dirty and worn out (fabric worn through and seams coming apart) and the refresh (paint and carpet) was very poorly done. For the money it was a disappointment.

Not only does this hotel have the worst breakfast ever, but to add insult to injury, they charge you at $10 resort fee there for what? This hotel is nothing special and is not worth the extra money to stay at this ascend property. The hallways are pretty worn as is the carpet, the only thing good I can say is that the bed was comfortable. Don’t waste your money.

This is an old remodeled and rebranded La Quinta. No elevator. The whole second floor was hot. The a/c although new could not cool the room and it was very noisy, woke me up each it turned on. The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall properly so the whole bathroom got wet. The vent fan in the bathroom goes on with the light and is very noisy. Will not stay there again.

I will start with the bad. When we checked in at 8 pm we were sent to a dirty room. The house was fully booked but they promptly directed us to another room that had not yet checked in. That room was 85 degrees and the AC was off. We turned it on and went to bed only to find the room stifling hot all night with non-functioning AC and no other room available.
The facility does accommodate pets which was great and the staff was friendly and did provide a discount to our rate for the inconvenience. plenty of free parking and lots of food options nearby. There is a Continental breakfast provided as well which in convenient.

The property is basic. The breakfast consists of cereal. The biggest issue we had was a loud 100 decibal machine noise in our room the entire time we were there. The staff did nothing about it, couldn't/wouldn't get us to a new room nor offered any type of compensation. Do not stay in the room 216 or 116. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night just to get out of there.

It was ok for one night. A resort fee is charged but not sure for what ? There is nothing extra. There is not even an elevator. The breakfast is continental so nothing hot. Should be called a motel not a hotel resort.

The rooms were remodeled, but you can tell that it was in terrible condition. I did not like the bedsheets because they look very faded and worn out. I felt like it wasn’t clean enough because there was a smell to the room. The AC was sold out that we couldn’t sleep and we had to wake up and adjusted several times. The bathroom was so tight my husband And I can only go one at a time. The breakfast was meh. Overall, it was so overpriced and I feel like I was scammed because the pictures look so nice but the condition of the place was terrible. It looks remodeled, but you can tell by the details that it was done poorly. And I cannot stand the bedsheets because there was definitely blood stains on the bed covers Underneath the bedsheets.

It is on the main street, close to dining places and the supercharger. The room was sparkly clean, the mattresses were the best we had ever slept on, the towels were fluffy, and the soap was high-quality. Cons: no elevator, small room, the refrigerator door is opened to the left while the cabinet door is opened to the right, and the WIFI was really bad, so we could not use it and had to turn on the data plan. The shower handle is hard to use.

we really enjoy staying here at the Cielo when traveling from Northern Nevada to San Diego. Its a great halfway break for the drive and its a nice hotel. Very conveniently located to restaurants and shopping.

The location met my needs to the locations where we visited.

Quick check in. Room was clean. We were on bottom floor which is good as I did not see elevator for any upper floors. We could hear walking loudly from guests above us. Breakfast was boiled eggs, cereal, coffee/tea, packaged oatmeal, yogurt, variety of bread bagels and biscuits. Location was good as walking distance to park, restaurants, bowling and shops.

Stay at the nicer looking hotel next door that looks like a ski lodge, the Wayfinder. We walked in and regretted where we were staying. The Wayfinder was even priced cheaper.i should have done better due diligence before this stay.

Not real clean, worn out furniture, windows were dirty, lighting is bad, all cool white fluorescent light. Mold in ice bucket. Just a few of the things, that left me feeling skeptical of this place.

Easy to get in and out. Clean, quiet and very nice staff. Even checking in at 1:30am because the wind blew tracks over causing big delays. Checked out at 6am. Will stay here again and stay longer!
