Beautiful hotel with fantastic service. Swimming pool was a great bonus and immaculately clean. Bar staff very attentive and professional. Our room was clean and spacious, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly, the location was very close to the vast choice of restaurants and beautiful views over the lake. The hotel restaurant is definitely worth a visit and breakfast was one of the best we’ve had with views from the terrace that are so nice in the warmth of the sun. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Fantastic stay - the hotel is fantastically located, the rooms are very modern and cool despite it being a grand old hotel. Pool was great. But it was the service that was the standout - so friendly, especially the waiters and waitresses at breakfast. Loved it.

Grand Hotel Liberty is a beautiful hotel conveniently located in walking distance to Riva del Garda's historic center. The hotel itself is beautiful, both inside and out. The hotel room was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding as well as the service and friendliness of the restaurant staff. I was able to enjoy the indoor spa pool as well as enjoy a spa treatment. The spa amenities as well as the staff were wonderful.

The hotel is great! The food is amazing, the area is beautiful just in front of a great mountain chain and the Lago di Garda is 10 minutes walking. I really liked!

Fantastic place to stay. Good places to eat in addition to the hotel which is a must. Old and new with something for every on young and old. Will come back as this was our first visit.

The hotel is okay. There are no robes or slippers in the rooms for a hotel of its rating. The curtains in my room were not closing but there are external shutters which are blockout so not a big deal. There is a variety of breakfast options. The wifi connection is not very good, it drops a lot. The location is good.

Grand Hotel Liberty is a beautiful old style building and very well located. However, two important aspects are not compatible to a 4-star hotel. 1 - The bathroom was unbearably small, especially the shower stall. There is not enough space to comfortably take a shower. It is hard to move and not accidentally touch the shower knob and shut down the water. To make things worse, the bathroom has no appropriate ventilation. When I asked to change rooms, I was told that rooms in the more modern area in the back of the hotel have more bathroom space, but the hotel was full and reallocation wouldn't be possible. I had booked an executive room, not a standard one. 2 - Breakfast was ok, but compatible to a 3-star hotel due to limited variety of fruit, cheese or other fresh, hand made items usually offered in high standard hotels. The staff is very kind and available to help in any possible way, no complaints.

Beautiful old (but modernized) hotel very close to lake shore and to historic town center. Easy access to hiking and biking trails.

An old property. The window was leaking water into room. There were marks of bed bugs on the sheets, even tho we did not see the bugs!🙏 Floor cornes were dirty and dusty. Not a four star in my opinion, too expensive for what you get

This hotel was fantastic. The space was beautiful and impeccable, the pools were refreshing and relaxing, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the shower and room were beautiful, the breakfast delicious and inviting, the location superb for access to shopping and sights. Everything was perfect!

The hotel it self is in a great location and is perfect however we found the women checking us in to be abrupt and rude and was the same at check out other than the women at the desk we had a lovely stay

Passing through on our way to Verona. This beautiful historic hotel is in a great location near the city center. Affordable and the staff was very professional and helpful.

Great location, very central to all the shops. All the staff were very accommodating to English speakers. Off street parking was a bit complicated but once you park, you’re at the back entrance. Both indoor and outdoor pools were very relaxing.

Really perfect hotel and fantastic service. The only small issue was the parking. They don't have much parking space, but we parked 5 minutes walk from the hotel on a free parking. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the lake and the city. I will definitely come back.

It's a very beautiful hotel, but the service is miserable and our room was very small and the new electric for the lights not handful. We like the optic but the stuff was not very good and helpful.

Nice hotel with free parking. Walking distance into town...only about 5-10 minutes. The room was nice but very tiny and didn't have a view. Good value though.

We had a very modern room which suited us very well. It was kept immaculate by the friendly lady who serviced it. The hotel is an interesting mix of old and new, the indoor pool was lovely and warm and the reclining area beside it was very pleasant. Breakfast Buffet had a good range of items to choose from. Reception Staff were pleasant but seemed a little unsure at times and we felt that perhaps more training was needed to really meet a 4 star rating. The hotel is in an ideal location with everything just a short stroll away. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

One of the power plugs didn't work, it killed the lights/fuse box when something was plugged in, nothing big. Little dirty under the bed. Bed super good as was the shower. Breakfast very good. Staff very nice. A/C was also very good.

Beautiful well maintained old building set within a short walk of Riva town centre and the Lake. Very very clean, wonderful and friendly staff, excellent outdoor and indoor pool/spa facilities available on site. Been to this hotel for 5 years in a row and each year I can see marked improvements in the facilities. Highly recommended hotel in a wonderful location.

The hotel is in a good location and the amenities are excellent, including the pool, spa and bar area. Having booked a standard double room, we were allocated a room overlooking the pool / car park which was good. The room had electric blinds which we closed on the first night, as there are no blackout curtains. The problem came the next morning, as the blinds did not open, and we spent Saturday and Sunday in a room with predominantly no window, even though the problem was reported immediately. We were eventually moved to another room, which turned out to be a small single room which was far from ideal for two people. We were informed that the hotel did not have a maintenance engineer at the weekend, albeit on the Saturday morning informed the problem would be fixed that day. Having booked a three night break at the hotel, the issue of no natural light, multiple visits to reception and having to move to a single room spoilt our holiday and let down the hotel.
