Beautiful Relais and Chateaux with a Michelin starred restaurant. Very friendly staff who made us feel special.

This hotel was a truly 5 Star Hotel. We stayed in a suite and it was really cool and big. The Hotel offered a shuttle service that helped get to a train station and even took us to the restaurants. The staff was amazing ready to help in any way and to make sure that our stay was unforgettable. Would definitely stay again. Great location in a beautiful Ostuni.

The overall location is perfection. The staff is super knowledgable and helpful. The rooms could use a bit of an update.

Beautiful views as property sits high above the city. Unfortunately due to cool weather there were limited options to enjoy outside space. Front desk very helpful and friendly with dinner suggestions and reservations. Hotel rooms are very loud as the structure and design accentuates all sounds, voices and doors closing etc. Bed set up on platform in middle of room makes the space seem smaller even though large room. You have to walk around the bed which has an additional step down to the floor. Kind of odd and really limits function of room. Enjoyed our 5 nights and price was reasonable. Fabulous breakfast daily with friendly staff.

Great hotel, very clean, perfect location, good breakfast but best of all was a great staff always ready to help.

I booked a stay in Ostuni well in advance of our trip and spoke extensively with the front desk staff with all my questions. Everyone was very helpful. We selected one of the largest rooms with its own private patio that had views of the sea. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there so we couldn’t utilize the patio but it would have been fabulous. Our room had a large whirlpool tub which was nice, given the fact that the weather was not cooperative. The tub does look like it needs some updating, though, as some parts didn’t work properly but it worked well enough for us. We were grateful to have it. The room was spotless and the bed was lovely. The entire property is kept so nicely. I had made to order crepes each morning for breakfast and my husband had omelettes. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had with the property was the lack of a bar. They had a bar but there were not many options for mixers and they had no beer! There was also no beer or liquor in the mini bar in the room. This is not something we would expect from a five star hotel. And it would have been helpful due to the weather, if we had the option of having drinks in our room. Otherwise, everything was great and I would stay there again, without hesitation.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Exquisitely appointed and elegant in every way with incredible views and impeccable service. For the discerning traveler, this is it. Expensive.

Not at all a luxury hotel. Room was tiny and uncomfortable even for European standards. (deluxe w/ terrace) There was no pool side service. Literally sat by the pool with no one there and never received towels, water, or anything basic. Location is great but that is it. I wouldn’t stay here again,

We were pleasantly surprised at how luxurious this hotel was. The staff were over the top with customer service. The room was more like an apartment in size and was unique and truly lovely. Daily breakfast was beautiful and plentiful with home made, organic everything. Dinner in the Michelin Star restaurant was a special treat. The property is called the summit for a reason—the views were spectacular. The manager was always on site, checking in to see how everyone was and if anything needed. Walk out the front door and your just steps from everything. We would never stay anywhere else. All that being said our room barely heated and the only solution was to change rooms. We loved the room so much though so we didn’t change—we opted for more blankets. Hot water was also an issue after day one though we never informed the management because again we loved all else so much. Tip: if plan to arrive by car, contact hotel in advance for instructions on how to access as you won’t drive to hotel—they will immediately collect you from parking lot.

Our room was beautiful, the service terrific Stay here for a wonderful visit in Ostuni We had a little trouble finding the parking place, called them and they immediately sent someone to fetch us and bring us to the hotel That's Service !!!

We were thrilled to find this hotel during my 7 week trip around Italy w friends. The location is amazing and the views are stunning. The hotel is located in the historic city center and has been built without changing the exterior but the interior is a mixture of contemporary with a definite nod in the furnishings to the historic past. The staff are truly dedicated to service. You can’t drive up to the hotel. Go to a parking lot and call and they will come get you. They will also get you from train station 10 minutes away. Ostuni Is a perfect spot to explore Puglia. The historic area in Ostuni Is jam packed with excellent restaurants and prices are quite reasonable. During the late morning there are many tour groups but they disappear and you have the area to yourself later in the day however you will likely be off exploring other villages too during the day. We spent five nights at the hotel and each day went out to other towns to explore. There are so many wonderful spot to see including Ostuni itself. We were very happy with the lovely breakfast spread and our room. Beds were very comfortable. The room was extremely clean and had turndown service. There are terraces in which you can have drinks and meals. Wonderful views. We were very happy there.

La Sommita is an exquisite hotel in Ostuni - an amazing location and unique accommodation. We stayed in the Master Suite which as well as being wonderful with stone vaulted ceilings, is possibly the most unique room I have ever had, literally in the walls of the city with some walls at least a metre thick. The Michelin 1 star restaurant is a must do, we had an amazing dinner with very innovative food. Breakfast is also impressive. But the staff are the best - always smiling and so helpful, quite delightful. Everything is effortless. Would love to return for longer, Ostuni and La Sommita deserves more than 2 nights.

The hotel is hard to get to and don't get me started about parking BUT it was worth it. The service, the location and the food was incredible.

The position of the hotel was excellent. Air conditioning in the room was not very efficent.

The general areas of the hotel are very good as are the staff who are friendly and eff8cient. We stayed in a deluxe room, big mistake!. The only window was about 2ft sq and 10 foot above ground level. The mattress should have been replaced and the air conditioning was in effective. We were given a fan but as you can imagine in 35 degree heat this was useless but as good as the ac. Food was very good so the summary of the review was good and bad in equal measure

Superb property perched at the top of Ostuni. We had a room overlooking the view to the courtyard and the sea beyond. It was all quite beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room with a view was VERY spacious by Italian standards. Big bed, couch, armchair. Actually enough space to move around and be comfortable, rather than one of those places where it is the bed or the bathroom and that's it.

Difficult shower for tall men

Probably the best hotel to stay in Ostuni, a lovely town in the Puglia region of Italy. The hotel is situated at the highest point of the city and has a dominant view of the surroundings, allowing you to get views all the way to the sea. A small, 15 room facility where the staff is ready to spoil you and ensure you have a great stay. Highly recommend the hotel.
