Just spent one night but this place was perfect especially for the price. Room was spacious with nice amenities. Bathroom was especially nice. Only one thing I’d recommend, replace the sliding door to the bathroom with a regular door. While it looks nice it is a bit noisy. Great location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Overall highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, quiet, close to where we needed to be

Husband and I stayed one night at the Hyatt Centric Pike. The area was safe and easily walkable. Several restaurants to choose from. Loved the room with its sitting area. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the shower!

Staying here was a very nice experience! I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and their music was so fun! I would recommend to others to stay here!

Very helpful, providing a free toothbrush and storing our luggage while we had lunch after checkout.

Beautiful area, friendly staff

Location was wonderful, staff was excellent and very helpful. Only suggestion is a mat in the shower, the tile was very slippery.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very professional and very nice and it’s just in a really really great spot. I will stay again.

I paid almost $300 for 2 night during mid week thinking that it woukd be less congested with the crowd however, the room next to us was belligerent and loud in which I did not get any sleep. I had to self clean certain parts of the room as it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I never received a refund for all the inconvenience.

Easy check in and out. Food was really good.

Hotel was clean and most staff were professional and courteous. I say most because the gentleman manning the front desk as I checked out watched me struggle with the bell cart to get my things through the lobby and out the front door. He had no other guests to assist at the time and the phone wasn't ringing so I'm not sure why he couldn't assist me. Other than him, everyone else was professional and courteous.

Overall good room. Housekeeping staff did not properly restock after servicing. Parking is also extremely expensive in the nearby parking lot. The hotel should validate the parking completely, not just for 2 hours. Then it would be a 5 star.

The hotel itself is nice, the room was nice. The problem is that the room I booked which was 1 king bed & 1 queen bed was double booked. Instead of the hotel letting me or Expedia know as soon as I booked, they waited for me to check in and not have another choice but to stay in whatever room they can give me. They only had a 1 king bed and sofa bed. Which sofa beds are known to be uncomfortable and it was very uncomfortable! They gave me a credit to use there, but I would have preferred to have been notified once I booked that it was not available so that I could have made other plans to stay at a different hotel. It's unacceptable that the hotel did not advise me as soon as I made the reservation, instead you wait until people check in and then it's too late for them to look for a different hotel.

I absolutely loved this hotel, the property is so nice, and staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a rooftop terrace watching the sunset from there was amazing. I definitely recommend staying here, there’s a shopping center and movie theatre to the left of the hotel as well.

This hotel is fine for anyone without kids. It is NOT kid friendly. Lots of drunk people in and around the property, and the rooftop pool which was a source of great excitement for our toddler was inundated with drunk partygoers playing loud music. One side of the pool had the hotel music blaring and the partygoers on the other end of the pool had their music blaring. Eventually we left because the atmosphere was unpleasant - and this was at 4.30pm in the afternoon! Maybe if they started the party atmosphere after 6pm people with kiddos could enjoy the pool a bit more. Lots of noise in the hallways and the street noise was also obnoxious. The hotel itself was nice and I appreciate that it was pet friendly, but I would not recommend it for families.

This is a very nice hotel. The hotel and room are very clean and comfortable from the moment you walk in. The distance from Long Beach Airport to the hotel is manageable. There is no real restaurant in the hotel, but they do have some type of market where you can buy snacks like sandwiches, parfaits, cereal, beverages, etc. However, there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel. So, if you want a restaurant feel -- you can walk or take a quick drive across the street to find something you are interested in eating. Also, the hotel is super close to the boats/ferries that can take you to Catalina Island - so that's a plus! One drawback -- which was a major annoyance -- parking! The parking for hotel guests is not free! I believe it was about $3 an hour -- with a daily maximum of $16. Once you leave, the time restarts. So if you leave and come back you have to pay again. There is no free place to leave you car for just a few minutes or so. Everywhere you park you have to pay. Also, hotel guests share parking with the public. Since we were there on a weekend, the area was very busy, and the parking garage filled up quickly throughout the day. So, we were stuck with the worst parking spots (way at the top).
