Comfy room, they had made sure we were on the ground floor as we had requested. We had an Accessible room, with massive bed and good bathroom facilities.
Staff were helpful and breakfast was great quality.

Always value for money. Room clean and tidy. USBport was broken so a bit annoying. Breakfast is always very good with plenty of choice and free parking available

It was absolutely fantastic!
My room and entire hotel was spotless. A really comfy bed, stunning breakfast and what I loved the most and I'll never forget; was just how amazzZzing the staff were.
I honestly cannot thank each and every single one of them enough, so much so that I was sad to leave, because they touched me with how incredibly brilliant they were!
Off the scale brilliance that touched my heart and left the best lasting impression! I miss them all already!
Nina is lovely and so are her team, so much so that I honestly can't wait now; to stay there again.Ha they can't get rid of me ;)!
I feel so truly blessed and lucky to have met them all and I think they are the best.
So if anybody is wanting to visit our beautiful market TheTown Of Flowers as Shrewsbury is classed as and want somewhere to stay, be it a night or two or a week or whatever; I honestly hand on my heart highly recommend The Holiday Inn Express, in Shrewsbury.

We stayed for two nights and choose this hotel for easy access to the area we wanted to visit. Was a good choice. It is on an industrial estate but from our room you couldn’t tell that. Check in was quick and efficient, staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were in room 15, it was very spacious and clean. Showeroom well designed and clean. It was very quiet in our room and great blackout curtains. Beds were very comfortable. We were asked a preferred breakfast time which was a good idea as the dining area wasn’t massive but easily accommodated guests who came at their preferred time. If you just ‘turned up’ there might be a wait. Great choices for breakfast. Cereals, yoghurt and fruit, English and continental. English breakfast cooked well. We had an evening meal which again was cooked well and we thought, good value. We must particularly mention Stas who made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. Would recommend.

Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay when visiting Shrewsbury. The staff are helpful and friendly, even finding a feather pillow for my husband who has a bad neck. The breakfast is excellent. Parking is easy and the receptionist made sure we registered our car in order to avoid a fine. One small issue is the fact that the soap dispensers in the bathroom are opaque so when they run out the cleaner can’t see they are empty. The shampoo is a good alternative when the soap runs out! This hotel is very good value and we always stay here when visiting Shrewsbury, sometimes bringing our dog. The rooms are large enough to accommodate us all.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over many years. It is in an excellent location to access by road. Staff, as on previous visits, were kind and helpful. Regrettably, this time the cleanliness of the room, and the condition of the shower, was not up to the standard of previous visits.

The shower had a nasty smell to it which made it unusable- but we where only there for one night
Breakfast wasn’t especially good - ran out of banana snd the scrambled eggs were not good but it was free so I suppose you get what you pay for!!

the room was very comfortable ,bathroom a bit dated and the shower head dripped all the time and the toilet was also dated . Breakfast was disappointing ,if you did not want full English breakfast ,no continental .1st morning only toast and cake,2nd morning toast, cake and croissant or cereal .The evening meal was not up to standard ,was told they would let the manager know .

First of all, staff were lovely. I'd asked on my booking for a first floor room, when we were given a ground floor room staff moved us with no problem and we're very kind. However, the room smelt of a sort of wet dog smell. We assumed it to be the air con possibly. Or maybe it was actual wet dog since dogs are welcome there.
Breakfast was good, though we had to sit in the lounge area due to there being no tables in the dining area. Not a big issue, but we would have preferred a proper dining table so that we weren't bending over to eat our food off a low coffee table.
Ample parking.

We stayed for one night midweek. Everything about the stay was excellent (for the money paid), from parking on site through to checkout. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean, breakfast was a great choice of hot and cold food and service was both friendly and efficient.

Very spacious room with twin beds. Very good shower. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of options. Staff were always helpful. Very well situated to get out and about.
Shrewsbury has limited parking so it’s useful that there’s a Park and Ride at Meole Brace but it’s not directed properly on satnav. There’s also an extensive out of town shopping area in Meole Brace too.

The first room we were put in had a bathroom that was in a shocking state of repair. There was an overpowering smell of sewage. The floor tiles around the toilet were missing grout and loose. The staff were lovely throughout and did move us promptly. They did say they knew of the issue and were awaiting repair but I don’t think the room should be used in this state.

We had a few issues at the hotel my room was not ready due to some technical issue the staff went above and beyond to sort me a room I can not thank them enough they are a great team and I love staying at the hotel
A company is measured not by what it does everyday it is measured when something goes wrong.
The team sorted the issue straight away and everything was fine
I can always recommend this hotel as it has good parking access to the A5 is easy and there will be high speed electric charges soon

Room was comfortable and clean, would have liked a second chair, but I am sure this would cause quite an expense.
Breakfast was very good plenty of everything. Not impressed with evening meal did not think it was value for money.

It was good. Food was good and reasonable price. Loved that you had vegan custard, felt very spoilt having that. Behind the soap dispensers in the shower needs a clean. Some of the covers on the screws in the shower were missing and screws going rusty.
Loved that there was usb sockets on both sides of the bed.
