We stayed for two nights and choose this hotel for easy access to the area we wanted to visit. Was a good choice. It is on an industrial estate but from our room you couldn’t tell that. Check in was quick and efficient, staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were in room 15, it was very spacious and clean. Showeroom well designed and clean. It was very quiet in our room and great blackout curtains. Beds were very comfortable. We were asked a preferred breakfast time which was a good idea as the dining area wasn’t massive but easily accommodated guests who came at their preferred time. If you just ‘turned up’ there might be a wait. Great choices for breakfast. Cereals, yoghurt and fruit, English and continental. English breakfast cooked well. We had an evening meal which again was cooked well and we thought, good value. We must particularly mention Stas who made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. Would recommend.

Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay when visiting Shrewsbury. The staff are helpful and friendly, even finding a feather pillow for my husband who has a bad neck. The breakfast is excellent. Parking is easy and the receptionist made sure we registered our car in order to avoid a fine. One small issue is the fact that the soap dispensers in the bathroom are opaque so when they run out the cleaner can’t see they are empty. The shampoo is a good alternative when the soap runs out! This hotel is very good value and we always stay here when visiting Shrewsbury, sometimes bringing our dog. The rooms are large enough to accommodate us all.

The shower had a nasty smell to it which made it unusable- but we where only there for one night
Breakfast wasn’t especially good - ran out of banana snd the scrambled eggs were not good but it was free so I suppose you get what you pay for!!

the room was very comfortable ,bathroom a bit dated and the shower head dripped all the time and the toilet was also dated . Breakfast was disappointing ,if you did not want full English breakfast ,no continental .1st morning only toast and cake,2nd morning toast, cake and croissant or cereal .The evening meal was not up to standard ,was told they would let the manager know .

We stayed for one night midweek. Everything about the stay was excellent (for the money paid), from parking on site through to checkout. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean, breakfast was a great choice of hot and cold food and service was both friendly and efficient.

The first room we were put in had a bathroom that was in a shocking state of repair. There was an overpowering smell of sewage. The floor tiles around the toilet were missing grout and loose. The staff were lovely throughout and did move us promptly. They did say they knew of the issue and were awaiting repair but I don’t think the room should be used in this state.

It was good. Food was good and reasonable price. Loved that you had vegan custard, felt very spoilt having that. Behind the soap dispensers in the shower needs a clean. Some of the covers on the screws in the shower were missing and screws going rusty.
Loved that there was usb sockets on both sides of the bed.

The staff were friendly enough. The hotel rooms need some tlc, which plaster coming off at the walls and loose metal hooks. It's the little details that count. Limited area to eat for breakfast, so times had to be staggered. This was the hotel of last restort because all other family hotels were full up!

Staff very helpful and friendly especially James. Breakfast was hot with a variety of choice. We required some maintenance in the bathroom this was dealt with immediately with a very courteous man.

The room was comfortable especially the bed. I used my own support pillow, but the pillows supplied were good. The walls and doors were marked. Could be repainted or washed. The bathroom needed a refurb as shower fitments were corroded and a bad fit. Breakfast included was a varied buffet but very good. The chef was friendly and helpful. They lost points on eco as no bin or instruction for recycling, and dedpite a note saying towels only changed if left on the floor, mine were changed daily despite hanging on rail indicating no change beeded. Overall a good stay positioned on a quiet business park only a 10 minute druve from town. A garage nearby had a big shop and a Subway. Very handy in walking distance. The roo. Charge was reasonable and good value. The staff were all nice. They gave me an early check-in for no charge. If the few faults were corrected it would get 5 stars from me.

Had a great stay and would definitely rebook. The premises were well looked after and clean throughout. I would like to have booked a twin bedded room but could no see where to book this.
