The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bathroom/shower stall was a joke,

Our room was so small you couldn't not trip over the bed or desk trying to get around. Barely room to go through your bag. Weirdly, the bathroom could have been much smaller to make the actually room bigger and easier to maneuver. We didn't find the bag valet under the bed until we were leaving. The temperature gauge wasn't correct and we were hot both nights, and the light in the mirror didn't work either. Staff was nice enough. I don't think Id stay here again.

Room is tiny tiny and said they were pet friendly. Unfortunately the room could not accommodate 2 people with 2 medium size dogs and luggage. One of our bath towels was stained with blood. The bathroom setup is tight. Had to go in the middle of night but the door is frosted glass so the light shone into room. Was not very private. Excellent toiletries though. The lobby was nice. Restaurant was good for breakfast. They had a dj playing music in the lobby Saturday evening. There was no where to take your dogs to the bathroom. So we had to walk them a ways to an area by the train which was a pain. We would not stay here again. If you’re alone it’s perfect. Near downtown and everything is in walking distance. We did have a small patio which was nice to have since it lacked space inside but it was hot and humid when we went so couldn’t exactly leave door open during the day but in evenings it was great.

Location is good but the room & rest room are so small. The design for shower place is bad that make the floor get wet after shower.

You get to have a personalized attention on the small details-much nicer than big hotels. Excellent location-Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Very clean and the overall environment of the hotel is relaxing. Many areas to chill, play or work in doors and outdoors. The rooms are very small tho, so it is not convenient for big families with lots of luggage.

This hotel was perfect for our quick vacation in Santa Barbara. It was just around the corner from the Amtrak station and centrally located to All the great restaurants and just a block from the beach!!!

Happy with our stay! We got the room with two full beds. They were so comfy with excellent pillows. Bathroom was small but with good use of space and bathroom amenities. Excellent location close to the funk zone and the beach. Easy and friendly check in. Clean rooms and grounds. I like that the provide a filtered water station with glass carafe in the room to use through out your stay. A nice coffee/juice/tea station at the lobby in the am and pm. A small self serve food and drink area for drinks and snacks, including beer and wine. Loved that our room had a little outdoore patio seating and table. We enjoyed chatting having drinks and meals out there!

Location is great. Room was small. Bathroom did not have a real door and neither did the shower so the floor was puddly through our entire stay. The wet floor had a pipe and mold smell. Location is next to a train stop so there are moments when it’s loud. All that being said I might go back but fingers crossed on a bigger room and shower.

Absolutely loved this stay! Came to Santa Barbara for work and needed to be somewhere centrally located where I could access the train, this checked all those boxes.
Not only is the hotel very quaint and had lots of fun hangout spots on the property to find, but it was within walking distance to tons of restaurants and the pier.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming, had tips and advice for things to do.
Great spot for an overnight or weekend getaway, highly recommend!

Nice hotel…but no pool, no spa, rooms tiny as can be, bathrooms tinier than New York City rooms, and no elevator. Next to the hotel was constant noise (trains/dumpaters)

The issue was the cockroach by the coffee machine where clothes sit. Then the HVAC wouldn’t produce any heat, only cool air.
Parking is pricey but that’s because of the area, and the room is the size of a New York apartment, front door almost hits bed when opening.

The staff was notably enthusiastic and helpful upon our arrival. The service was truly excellent and appreciated. The room was clean and well appointed, but small…very small. They made efficient use of the space, and it was fine for a short term stay. The common spaces were enjoyable, and nicely decorated and maintained.

The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, and the hotel was near restaurants. It was also walking distance to the pier. They offer on sight parking as well.
