I was looking for a nice quiet and relaxing weekend away to rejuvenate myself. The room was excellent absolutely loved the view of the ocean from the balcony. The room was clean, the resort was well designed and clean, the grounds were beautiful, the pool was awesome. Just loved everything about this resort, I will definitely be keeping it on my list of favourite places to go for a chill out.

We totally enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again.

Good location right on beach

The property was over priced for what was on offer. The bathroom floor became very slippery when wet, the external sliding doors were extremely hard to operate, the toilet leaked, the shower rose was past its 'use by' date, the bed was very good, cleanliness was very good, items in the unit were all good. The block-out curtain had holes in it. The outside patio light didn't work, the parking space for our unit was always occupied by others and we were unable to park on-site.

Beautiful accommodation opening out to a stunning beach. Very friendly, helpful manager on reception. Nice pool, DVD & book library. Only disadvantage if you have heavy footed people staying above you it can be disturbing early in the morning.

Amazing location and so quiet and peaceful ,stunning views from the balcony. Could stay at the resort and never leave with great snorkeling around the rocks at the end of the beach and lovely clean beach to walk and relax on as well as swim. Worth the walk up to the path behind the resort for amazing views over the bay from Mother Beddock lookout. The staff were very friendly and made everything easy with beach towels provided for the 10 days and a room clean half way through our stay. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious with a large balcony and well equipped. Bowen is only a few minutes away for everything you need. (Pizza Hut delivery is available for the nights you don’t want to cook) The nearby (short drive) Grand View hotel did a superb meal with friendly service, the Cove restaurant also only a few minutes away by car did a lovely meal with stunning beachfront views, the seafood from birds fish bar was delicious and for coffee snacks and smoothies we found ourselves heading back to Le Sorelle coffee house multiple times. We have nothing bad to say about this superb resort and location, we flew into Whitsunday Coast Airport where we hired a car for our stay, the drive from the airport is just over an hour.

Rose Bay Resort is absolute beachside and perfect for a quiet couple’s break. Our stylish well appointed suite had a lovely view of Rose Bay’s granite boulders and swaying palms which seemed like our own private little idyllic tropical cove. You simply step out of your lounge, onto your private terrace, over a little sward and your on the white sandy beach. I cannot find fault. Go there!

Wow what a lovely spot gorgeous outlook and access to a beautiful beach .The staff very friendly and helpful and tried to fix any problems we had .Reception is limited hours only.The rooms are not serviced daily but can be for an extra charge. Wi Fi was free but didn't work when the units were busy. Bed was comfortable and the studio unit provide us enough tools to make simple meals.

Location the best views

Hotel it's self is great but bed had either bed bugs or dust mites. Tv was horrible, you couldn't make out anything on the stations. Great family location right on the water

Good get away place close to the beach. Staff were always friendly and reacted promptly to some of the minor issues we experienced and these were quickly rectified.

Rose Bay Resort - a hidden gem in a lovely cove surrounded by walking tracks. Absolute beachfront with swimming in the bluest of blue waters available all year round in this lovely climate. Sit on the balcony with fresh prawns from the seafood co-op in Bowen, open a chilled bottle of wine, and enjoy watching the sparkling clear waters, the islands and the local fishing boats passing by. Follow up the next day with a drive up Flagstaff Hill to see the most beautiful views of Lighthouse Island, Gloucester Island, and the lovely town of Bowen. Drive on down to the Boat Harbour, pop in to the Sailing Club for a beautiful and inexpensive meal. If you have children spend time at the waterpark on the foreshore, and soak up the history of this little town.
