Raquel and the other staff were very friendly and helpful

My review title states what I would tell a person followed by a strong recommendation to book a room there. As a side note I would mention that the hotel is hard to find by car, but everything else in the old section has the same issue.

Hotel staff was great, room was clean and breakfast was delicious although very small. great location in center of city. Loved it

The staff tried to accommodate our wishes the best they could,but the hotel needs badly some updating. Otherwise, it is close to everything.

Right around the corner from Plaza Mayor. Restaurant downstairs (we do not recommend eating there). Room was spacious with big windows that opened up to a view of the bell tower next door. Wifi connection was spotty but overall good value.

I booked a triple room, when I arrived the hotel did not have a triple room available and could only make a double room avalable. As it happens Id stayed in that same double room the night beofre. I was charged twenty euro more. Downright dishonest.

I booked a triple room for 50 euro with this hotel . On the day of the reservation I was told there was no triple room available and I wools have to take a double but still pay them the 50 through hotels . Com. Dishonest.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights usng two reservations . On the first night I was charged 30€ as per the hotels.com reservation . When it came to the second night, for which I had a reservation for a larger room( as that was all that was available as per hotels.com) suddenly the larger room was not available! They would give me the same room as the previous night but now were going to charge me 40€! This is NOT how hotels.com reservations should be run. Go somewhere honest.

Where do I begin? The room was down a dark, narrow hallway. The mattress was about 3 inches thick and you could feel the coils, very uncomfortable. Plus, it was small. There was a bottle of hand soap on the sink, but no other soaps or shampoos. The hair dryer didnt work. There was no phone or sprinkler system in case of an emergency. The reception area was actually the bar, which closed at midnight so you needed a code to get into the front door if you were coming in late. The only plus was the location, near the plaza, but with poor sound proofing that was bad, too. After very little sleep, we were just glad to get out of there. It was by the far the worst hotel of out stay in Spain.
