LOVED this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfy beds. Great location able to walk everywhere. Of note steps to enter are very steep as well as stairs, otherwise perfect.

From reservation to check out the whole experience of the Marie-Rollet hotel has been superb.
I arrived extremely early before I could check in. I had travelled on an overnight train.
Both Sandra and Rita on reception were so kind and helpful. They looked after my luggage and even delivered it to my room.
Sandra phoned me when the room was ready and I was able to check in earlier.
My room (12) was extremely well appointed and comfortable. Very clean with an armchair to relax in too. A very bright and airy room.
The hotel’s location was excellent with everything so close by.
By far a favourite hotel of mine that I’d stay in again and certainly recommend.
Although no refrigerator in the room I was able to have access to one to store things. A nice touch.

Pillows were insufficient. Needed sink counters. Nice size rooms. Great location.

This hotel was strategically placed to reach all the historic sites easily. It is not ADA friendly with very steep cramped stairs to reception and no elevator inside. Service and help finding town's locations was excellent.

Centrally located, welcoming staff

Perfect boutique hotel. The bed was amazingly comfortable with attention to fine details. We had the lower Queen with a tiny patio to allow you to have your coffee outside. Charming and convenient. The few stairs were a bit cumbersome for us as we are both in our 70's, but we went slowly and we did fine.

This hotel was great! Good location, clean, bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing
We would definitely stay again !

The photos online are EXTREMELY misleading. It's more like a semi-higher end hostel than a hotel. There are ZERO amenities - and I do mean zero!! The stairs are EXTREMELY steep & VERY small & there are A LOT more than the images portray!! No help anywhere what do ever. Check in - pay all upfront - then the 1 person leaves at 8:00pm - you are on your own - no joke. I would NEVER recommend. Room was very clean & and decor cute - but - 1 hand towel - 1 tiny shampoo & conditioner - that was it!! Good location - but don't locked out or you're screwed. Open at 8 out by 9 - end of story.

Perfect location for walking around town. Unique and quaint 19th century decor with modern amenities. Very clean. Stairs are very steep and narrow especially when entering building. Bathroom sink area is small but clean. Would definitely recommend!

Good location. Staff helpful but time very limited. Difficult entrance with luggage, and steep stairs to get to room. Small but adequate room.
Would not recommend for senior citizens.

This is a charming place in the heart of old Quebec. I was travelling with 2 adults and a teen. Our room was grand and elegant with two large windows with an excellent view of the old city. It was surprisingly quiet at night. Beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help me print something. The room had everything we needed in a charming and convenient location. The only cons, it was tricky getting luggage up the front steep, short treaded stairs but worth it once you made it. And the bathroom sink is tricky to manoeuvre around with a shelf inconveniently placed right above it. Otherwise, we’d stay there again for sure.

This property was quaint and centrally located. Great food options everywhere! Close to all the most beautiful historical sites, and an abundant amount of shopping! Only issue is that there is not an elevator, so be prepared for stairs...or at least request the first floor accommodations. I have bad knees so it was a challenge...even the front door required going up six very steep steps.

Great location in Old Quebec. Lovely hotel. Great staff.

The hotel is in a very prime location, built in 1876! It is indeed a boutique one. I like it’s building and the location.
It would be a quality boutique hotel if the owner would have paid more attention to details to upgrade the bathroom.

Before you visit their hotel, please confirm with the front desk that the beautiful room you saw in their Google reviews is available. I admit that they have rooms that match the refined decor in the pictures. However, this time, I was assigned a basement room, and my experience was indescribable. As soon as I entered the room, I smelled a musty odor, something like old wood mixed with dampness. I tried to mask it with perfume, but it didn't work. The bathroom might have been converted from an attic storage space, because at my height of over 185cm, I couldn't stand up straight while showering. Additionally, the furniture they use, possibly to give a vintage feel, was really full of old, musty smells. My feelings about this stay are very complicated. After a fun day out, all you want is to return to the hotel, take a warm shower, and have a good night's sleep, but in this environment, I couldn't sleep at all.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. The room is very small, but certainly adequate. The hotel has a heritage vibe and is walking distance to all the sites.

2nd time here. Perfect location at a great price.

Overall an excellent hotel! Just wish the room door would have kept out the noise from the housekeepers conversations, and them using the linen closet over and over. Other than that, it was a great stay with easy check-in and check-out and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance!

We LOVED the Hotel Marie Rollet!!! If you plan to stay there make your reservation right away because it is always booked! We were just luck to get a room. The room was perfect and very French. You will not find a better location in Old Quebec City. A !!

There's no parking at the hotel but there's a public parking half block away, not expensive.
You don't need car anyway because you're in the center of the action.

Definitely a boutique hotel, lovely furnishings. We had room 22 which is at the top of hotel on 2nd floor. The room has a double bed but quite small, with sink in bedroom not in bathroom. Sink was ok but a shelf was above it hence you were unable to lean over and wash your face. We were very lucky as 1st 2 days had great weather and there is a nice outside roof terrace next to the room which guests can use. We used it on both days to have our coffee and some pastries for breakfast, no other guests used it other than us which was very nice. We'd also have a drink there in an evening as it caught the sun I till 8pm of an evening.

Hotel Marie Rollet is a quintessentially quaint little hotel right smack in the heart of old Quebec! The location is excellent, no problems at all with our 3 nights stay! Not much frills but comfortable and clean. Will definitely highly recommend. Safe & very French!
