The communal areas are lovely but the bedroom is a bit tired and the bed is rock solid.

Really good breakfast and hard-working staff. The family room (king + single) was great for 2 parents and a child. Good variety of restaurants for dinner within walking distance of the hotel.

Really lovely hotel located in a perfect position. Sea front views and not much traffic (in March!) Bar area was lovely to sit in with the log fire burning. The room was a lovely size and no issues with cleanliness. Had a balcony room which was just perfect and well worth the extra pennies! Didn’t try the food on this occasion as we wanted to explore but it always smelt amazing! Close enough to the town centre for restaurants and pubs but far enough away that you don’t hear the drunken antics. Nice touch having the empty fridge in the room to store wine and snacks.

Reception great. Small tired room and a little dirty. Sink hadn't been cleaned & the TV remote was disgusting. TV was tiny & slow. Decor was bland to say the least. On a positive note the restaurant & evening meal was brilliant as was breakfast. Staff excellent throughout & maybe i was unlucky with my single room but if it wasn't for the tatty room I'd be back.

Great stone throw from the lovely fistral beach dog friendly hotel with dog friendly beaches parking with the hotel was great none of that got a hotel but where we going to park business and a nice wood burner with comfy settes to warm you up definitely will return.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for Newquay with Fistral Beach a few mins walk away. We had a room with a balcony and sea view on the second floor which was great to sit on to catch some rays and enjoy the view. There are some fantastic restaurants near by including Japanese, Tapas and Pizza. The staff were very friendly and delt with a query I had with the bill swiftly. Food on site is lovely with a great vibe inside and on the veranda with a great view. The bed was very comfy and the shower good. All was very clean.I would definitely stay here again!

we stayed only 1 night at this property, but really enjoyed the experience. the room was nicely decorated , with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a bright room with a big window facing golf course - nice treat especially if you are into golf (which we are). the hotel provides breakfast, and nice options for lunch/dinner. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

Well decorated, clean and new. Nice bar and patio. It was so close to the beach, golf course, and convenient to other restaurants. Such a picturesque place.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. We stayed for three nights and there were two separate wedding parties which made you feel a but like you were gate crashing! The disco went on until midnight so it was after 1am before it was reasonably quiet. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay and if the weather is nice, like it was for us, the outside area is great.

I loved my stylish single room. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to move around. I had a little sea view if I sat on the window seat. The staff were great, particularly Violet who went out of her way to be helpful. The breakfast was efficiently managed and the food was excellent. There is a beautiful sea view from the breakfast room. The only downside was the small old TV. Overall this is a great hotel, in great location with friendly, helpful staff.

Pretty sure we found the best hotel in Cornwall when we found this gem. Perfect location - the town/harbour and beaches on your doorstep. The food was superb and the overall vibe of the hotel was perfect.

Absolutely fantastic food, both breakfast and evening dinner. Huge portions and lovely fresh ingredients. Hotel was good, loved the balcony. Was a little expensive for what it was and then had to pay extra for parking which was a bit disappointing. Having said that, the location and view are fabulous if you are staying in Newquay.

Beautiful chilled decor, lovely sea views and super helpful staff - we had to bring the kids at the last minute and the hotel were brilliantly flexible with swapping rooms, thank you Oceanside!

The staff were terrible, the room was nice, the beds were very uncomfortable and parking was ok! The hotel itself is very outdated and needs some remodeling! Location was awesome! The shower was hard to get in and out as it was very high sided and there was no bath mat to stop from slipping in the shower!

Good quality accommodation, food excellent, cleanliness up to the expected high standard, staff very professional and friendly.

I booked 2 nights for my daughter and I, we arrived early so got a car park ticket and went for a walk around Newquay. I then received and emergency call from home so has to tell reception we could not stay. Obviously there policy is not to give refunds. I did email later to ask if we could move the booking to a different date or perhaps a partial refund, £300 is a lot of money. Even a reimbursement on the car park would have been nice but sadly nobody replied to my email.
