Bloc is easy and convenient when flying from Gatwick South as you literally walk out and turn left and you are in departures. I find it is clean &. comfortable & the staff friendly & welcoming. On this occasion I had a leaky shower so the bathroom floor was wet & the overhead shower head needed cleaning as some of the water jets sprayed in the wrong direction but overall an excellent stay.

Bloc is clean, convenient, easy to check in and out, and really great value for money if you have an early flight and want somewhere to put your head the night before. I have stayed here multiple times and will do so again for any future flights.

The shower and toilet are in one cubicle, meaning the floor and toilet stayed wet all night.
Tea and coffee are not provided in the room. Had to go down in lift, to a coffee/tea machine.

I wouldn’t recommend to anyone claustrophobic. The room is fine for a quick few hours sleep before your flight. We arrived after 11pm and left at 5am for our flight. The bed was comfy but compact. Not loads of room for suitcases, I saw that some people left their cases outside their room, probably cause they are small. The bathroom was tiny, more of a wet room style bathroom which I wasn’t aware of. The reception staff were lovely and gave us bottled water. The only big benefit of this hotel, is it is right next to departures security, so we could go straight to security when we left our room. I would stay here again if I’m only staying for a few hours in the hotel.

The room was fantastic, and check in very easy - once I’d found the hotel! Signage at the airport doesn’t tell you that you need to go up one floor.
But I really liked the actual room, the controls for everything by the bed, and the wet room.
And I very much appreciated the upgrade!

I love staying at Bloc. By virtue of its location it eliminates any stress associated with getting to the airport. The rooms are compact but beautifully designed and the beds are a dream. Bloc is leaps and bounds above any in-airport alternative that I’ve experienced.

Stayed in the vip rooms so that we could get out of bed without climbing over each other. Great shower comfortable sleep. Couldn’t get much closer to the departure gates if you tried.

Bloc hotel is super convenience for flights from Gatwick. Literally right next to departures. We booked the smallest room which, for two, was a bit too small. (Would be perfect for one) Will upgrade for our return trip.

Perfectly nice clean room before or after a long flight. I arrived shattered, past midnight and collapsed into the bed and slept soundly. You'd never know you were at an airport. Small room but is everything you need for a short stay/stopover. Loved the key drop by lifts so you can just go on your way and less dragging your luggage about.

Stayed here just overnight for an early morning flight from Gatwick. The hotel itself was in an ideal situation right in the terminal near to shops, restaurants, and departures. It was clean, quiet and everything we needed. I personally found it a little oppressive, it was very warm and the air con didnt seem to do a lot and with the room being compact made this feel worse.

Convenient location for a very early morning flight the next day. Beds are comfy and rooms are nice and cosy. Wet room is a bit annoying once you’ve had a shower as all the floor is soaked unless you’re very careful.

My stay at the Bloc hotel was amazing, the staff there made me feel as ease as I haven’t flown in afew years, and was happy that the hotel was in the airport so l knew were and what I was doing the next day when it was time to fly. Would definitely stay there again and would and have recommended.

Stay was horrible. Rooms very tiny and bathroom and toilet in 1 place that when one has a bath the toilet gets wet as well as the toilet tissues. Very small rooms couldn't fit our 7 23kg laggages in it. Bathroom is slippery my baby slipped and fell.

I really liked the view from my room. It overlooked onto the airport.
Modern and clean room, with a big bed which was nice and the mood lighting was neat.
The only concern was the shower. The bathroom is an all in one, so when the shower is on, it splashes water all over the toilet and sink. There is no guard to block water from entering underneath the doorway, which leads to the bedroom. I had to have my shower oh very low pressure so the water wouldn't leak out into the bedroom and out into the hallway.

What can you say, location is exellent for early flights! Everything was good and clean as usual, but my duvet was very disppointing! Extremely thin, clearly made for summer! And the duvet cover was way to big, so I had 30 cm of unfilled cover, either side of the actual duvet. I woke up several times both nights, as I was freezing like nobodys business! But otherwise, the hotel is one of my absolute favorites when travelling in the general London area.

We arrived late, 10pm, to fly from Gatwick to Corfu early next morning, 5am. Woke to find there was no water in the room. I scanned the QR code in the room as there was no phone, as we were getting in the lift a gentleman was coming to meet us to explain what had happened, but unfortunately it was too late for us. We had parked in the south terminal long stay and we found the hotel difficult to find. The issue with the water has now been sorted.

Hotel is for 1 overnight - full queen sized bed reaching wall-to-wall (which was very comfy) but little room, no table or chairs.
