The illuminated mirror in the bathroom was an interesting feature and the dedicated room Netflix acces was something I have not seen before in a hotel.

Very clean & quiet, easy to access. Grounds immaculate. Lovely walking track along Queens Beach. Would definitely recommend.

It was just 1 minutes walk to the beach. Big enogh for 2 of us. A bit old and not clean enough specially carpets around corners. For one night considering the ptice , it was ok.

Room has plenty of space with separate bedroom and bathroom.
Well appointed. Comfy couch and easy to use smart tv.
Water pressure and shower are amazing, and everything works in the kitchen.
Would suit better to food shop ahead and cook there, as opposed to driving into town (5-10mins) to eat.
Woolies not open on Sunday so plan ahead.
Would recommend for a small family.
Pool and gardens well kept.
Seem to have a bit older average age.

We enjoyed our stay at Palm View but think they could update washing machine as the one on property very old and rusty. Had to do a rinse before washing as rust in bowl.

PROs:
-The PalmView unit is decorated lovely.
-Fantastic for a 1-2 day break if driving Cairns to Brisbane.
-Safe off street parking
CONs:
-It is not close to any cafes or restaurants and the beach isn’t great
-They are bit tight on provisions like one 50ml UHT milk for two.
- The room can accommodate three people, but the sofa is too small should 3 people want to watch TV.
- Also some softer lighting via a floor lamp in the living would be good.

A very clean apartment close to the water. Well appointed with all dishes, cooking pots and pans etc. that you would need. The district itself was a bit busy for us but other than that, a fair deal!

Palm View Apartments are close to the beach but off the main road so is very quiet. The rooms are very clean and well fitted out. Loved the stay and would recommend to others.

The property managers text message details on the morning of arrival. The apartment was semi renovated, spacious and neat and tidy I would recommend this as a short stay!

These apartments are very central to everything and only a minute walk from the ocean. Nice and clean and has all cooking facilities available. Would certainly stay here again.

Great apartments clean and tidy actually cleaner than some 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Pool was lovely beds comfy and T.v. with Netflix etc was great would stay again

The unit has a lovely feel about it very beachy. We had only a brief overnight stay and would like to come back again for a holiday. It was nice to have plenty of containers to use for cooking etc.

It was a brief stop over on a road trip. Rooms are clean and tidy, but very dated. Extra beach towels were a nice touch. Sadly the lounge room wasn't air conditioned

My fiancee and his family drove from brisbane & had stayed at the palms for about 4 nights there for a church conference. & due to the floods in brisbane roads were closed. The reception lady natalie was so kind to hold their room until they got further noticed from their church. The room felt refreshing & so spacious. They would love to come again some day.

Great location, old pool but in good condition. The furniture is dated and not very comfortable. Bed was good. As a whole, the unit needs some updating.

We received a txt at 11.30am from Palm View Holiday apartments advising us our unit was ready, this made planning our day easy. We had unit 3 and parked at the door. The unit was better than the photos, roomy and very clean. The pool and BBQ were well maintained.

Fabulous stay in the cabin out the back. Very secluded with access to pool and BBQ area. Minutes walk to beach. Brian was very helpful.

Fabulous stay, great location a stones throw from the beach and only a 2km walk along beautiful path to horsehoe bay. A taxi ride into town only $13 one way. We loved the quiet and peaceful location. We met the owner Brian who was lovely and communication about checkin was excellent. Would definitely stay again. Had everything available to cook all our own meals, we never ate out at all. Overall a great stay.
