The service is great here and it's a nice hotel. One of the things that may be important to many is that the parking is $r31.50 which on the current race equate to a little under $5.56-$6.00 a day extra.

This is a nice and economical Hotel that offers parking as well. It is very close to the Metro station also.

Affordable property with lots of amenities. The staff was very kind with us, especially considering our Portuguese was minimal.
Pros:
-feijoada buffet on Saturday was delicious and well worth the price
-the heated pool is excellent, feels like a hot tub
-comfortable rooms with strong air conditioning and nice shower
-friendly and kind staff who go above and beyond in courtesy
Cons:
-elevator closes very quickly (I know it sounds like an odd complaint but I got in the elevator and pushed the button and it immediately closed the doors very quickly, my friend didn’t have time to get in with me and we were comedically split up for a moment. No time to react basically!)
-floor was mildly dirty in our room—I didn’t find an issue but my friend commented about it more than once)
-the hallways with the rooms were oddly long and narrow
Overall the cons were so minor I didn’t want to subtract a star for them. Very satisfied with the stay!! I’d come stay again without any hesitation.

Lovely old heritage hotel - could do with a bit of an update, but would rather spend less and have less flashiness. Such incredibly good value - for a central location, metres / feet from the subway - heated pool and steam room, large rooms with separate dining nook and bar fridge, basic breakfast buffet included; the usual WiFi, TV and AC - and excellent service. This will be my go-to for future trips to Rio.

The staff at this property are excellent! A special shout out to the cleaning staff that take care of the rooms. The cleaning staff does a very good job and the porters are very helpful as well. Overall the staff is excellent!

My only complaint was that I paid for a suite with a jacuzzi and they put me in a very small room that had a Jacuzzi but not a room the size of a suite that I paid for. I really didn't have enough space.

The hotel is nice and clean. The area surrounding it is not the nicest but is close to many things allowing you to get to many places by foot. The morning staff is wonderful and courteous, the opposite to the older fleck at night, who is cold and rude. I was told at 9pm that i could not get any hot water because the kitchen was closed yet the hotel does not provide either a microwave or an in room coffee machine. Thankfully the restaurant a couple doors down have it to me free of charge. The breakfast was acceptable though not spectacular. I would think twice about staying there again.

Several cockroaches were inside the hotel room. Some of the receptionist were not very welcoming and came off rude with attitude.

The room (premium suite) was clean however the air conditioning was so loud that it was impossible to have it turned on and feel comfortable with the noise level. We asked if they had a fan to keep us cool at night - there were no fans. The unit broke completely the last night, we made a complaint at the check out and were promised to be contacted - no contact was made.

Rooms and hotel in general are very clean. Staff is kind, and helpful as well. When I first checked in to my room, it had bad Wi-fi signal but when I asked fo a change they put me in a bigger and better room with amazing signal!
I ended up extending my stay 5 nights more. Breakfast is included to the nightly price and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Riale is actually a gem in the wall, felt good to getaway and enjoy a nice hotel. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spotless clean and spacious. We had the pleasure of being able to eat breakfast and have dinner too at the hotel, food was delicious. All the amenities were open to the guests, Sauna, Pool and Gym. Definitely plan on going back. The hotel is well located with many options of dining and places to shop. There’s even a movie theater nearby.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, breakfast was included which I was surprised because it was not stated on the site. Pool was lovely and their gym has a window that faces the pool area for a nice view. I was in a superior room, which was very nice, spacious, clean and comfy. Would definitely love to come back for another stay.

The service was very good and very professional, however, it would be better, if staff, at least in reception area speak also English for non-Spanish speaking tourist. But I stress the service was excellent. Also, it was close to metro station and walking distance to Rua Flamingo, along which, many tour companies have collecting points of individual travellers. Very convenient location.

The check in was frustrating - very long and although they knew we had a room booked for 4 nights, they didn't know which room type (even though I showed them my booking confirmation) so we had to wait hours while other arrivals were given a room as they checked in :( We had flown from Europe and had been awake for 20 hours but they cut us no slack. Disappointing. After that things were great. The manager was particularly helpful as was the lady on reception. The breakfast staff worked hard. Room was very clean and tidy. Can highly recommend but don't even THINK of checking in before 2pm.
