Good value for money, due to very central situation. Only issue would be the luke warm coffee at breakfast each morning, possibly the breakfast trays are pre-prepared earlier than the booked time?

Really pleasant staff, friendly welcome, smart and clean (our room on 1st floor seemed to have had a recent revamp, totally new bathroom). Hotel has character, great location too. They did their absolute best to compensate for lack of airco with fans and anti mosquito plug-in, etc! No view unfortunately, just a wall.

I would highly recommend this property. I had gotten stuck at the train station (and had a very bad day) and booked the hotel late at night. When I got there the man behind the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. He offered me a room upgrade and the bed was so so comfy after a long day. The room was beautiful with nice art and detailing (wall paper, bathroom tile and fixtures). Additionally, I needed a toothbrush (because my bag was lost on a bus) and some band aids for blisters on my feet and they provided them kindly. The following day they let me work from the breakfast room on my laptop so I could enjoy the lovely views of the Cathedral across the street. Needless to say this hotel was the best part of my journey.

The hotel is an older hotel with small rooms. Reasonable price. The location is close to everything, train, bus, old town. Beautiful view from our window to a centuries old church. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a clean, but fairly basic hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was attractive with a good shower and decorative tiling on the floor. It is centrally located, near the Gare de Lille Flandres and the old town. Breakfast was not great. The bread and croissant were fresh and the coffee good, but it was all served on a small tray, which made it feel like an airline meal.

The hotel is situated beside a old church, just a few minutes walk from Lille Flanders railway station.
Room is OK but not equipped with AV, unfortunately I was visiting in the summer.
There is no breakfast buffet, you get served at the table with a tray containing a surprisingly OK breakfast, not bad at all. Personnel speaks good English and are very friendly.

Would have been quiet if it hadnt been for noisy guests coming & going at funny hours late at night and early morning but thats not the Hotels fault. This hotel was ideal for a short stay in Lille. It exceeded our expectations for a two star hotel and I would certainly recommend it. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good with everything set out on individual trays. Ideal location for walking into the centre of town and exploring.

The location was ideal. Within walking distance from Eurail station and very close to the main train station too. Everything you need close by. Our room had its own bathroom. The only downside is how small the shower is. But it is a good, clean choice. The room looked on the St. Maurice church across the street.

I would not recommend it as I found the room cold and the hotel facilities very poor. Breakfast was expensive for what it delivered. I didn't find the reception friendly either.

Typical French 2*. Clean comfortable beds. Noisy plumbing. Ancient lift. Exposed piping and wiring. But v good location next to gothic St Maurice, neat Grand Place in quiet street. Good substantial continental breakfast. Go for it! Great for short break.
