All the staff was amazing and very welcoming. They were helpful and courteous in every way. Breakfast was great and unique everyday and the service was great.

Great hotel, very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast included. Extremely convenient to downtown with a short walk over the bridge. Beautiful sunset view of downtown from patio.

I was a bit concerned with only one lock on the outside door since we were two females travelling. But the beds were comfortable, the decor nice, the breakfast was a pleasant treat. You can't beat the views of the water and the Bridge of Lions was beside the hotel with a spa and easy access to the bridge.

I truly enjoyed my weekend getaway at Marker 8. Great location, beautiful views, and wonderful staff made for a great stay. I’ll be back 👍

Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel if staying in St. Augustine. Walkable to restaurants and downtown historic district.

Fantastic alternative to the historic district hotels. Clean, clean, and more clean. Great views of the bay. Beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast is great. I will stay here again.

Gary at the front desk was one of the most hospitable people we ever had at any stay. He made our visit. The only negative...the pillows felt like they weighed 10 pounds and were as hard as a brick.

We stayed for just one night, and I booked the property specifically for the view and the premium bedding. The bed was so Comfy. Great nautical theme and all the staff are great too.

Stayed 5 nights in Room 201. The view was beautiful and the location was very convenient. Walked right over Lions Bridge into town...loved it. The complimentary breakfast was great and all the sfaff were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms have been renovated and are lovely with the river view. However, they continue to use wall air conditioning units which are extremely loud. We had too turn it off at night to enable us to sleep (even with ear plugs)! Fortunately it was cool enough at night to open the sliding door for the night. The last day of our 4 night stay, we approached the maid for the 2 bottles of water they leave every day after cleaning your room. She requested our room number and when we returned to the room at the end of the day we found the room had not been cleaned. We went to the front desk and nothing was offered to correct this situation. Upon check out we requested an accommodation for this and Gina said she would have to get permission from the owner - who happens to be out of town for a week. A week later we followed up with Gina and she says she has not been able to discuss with the owner. This last night we paid an extra $100 for the room over the previous 3 nights because it was a Friday night. We don't feel we are out of line requesting a clean room with fresh towels for our stay. Very disappointing way to end what should have been a lovely stay.

Loved view of intercoastal and bridge leading over to Old St Augustine from our balcony. Breakfast was much better than other breakfasts that most chains offer. Staff was so nice and helpful. A unique experience.
