I had an extended stay in Naxos, and the Polis is an excellent selection for anyone. Clean, well-operated with spacious rooms; hot water; excellent ac; friendly staff. The morning breakfasts were very good quality and selection, and the coffee was piping hot. If you are looking for a nicely located hotel, close to the beach, very nice restaurants, but away from the hustle and bustle of the port area, then the Polis deserves your strongest considerations.

Poor Wi-Fi speed. Wrong room size advertised. Extremely tiny property. No drinking water provision in the room. Car parking facility is of the city and private parties. They wrongly offer car parking facilities with the room as if its theirs and on their property. Considering what they charged, its not worth it.

We stayed in a superior suit with tub which was perfect for a family of four, it was also quiet and very comfortable. Staff was also very helpful to make the best of our stay! We rented a car for trips on the island and their is a public parking just by the hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel! It is conveniently located nearer to the beach than town but still an easy walk from the port. The family that runs the hotel could not have been more helpful. We appreciated all their suggestions and assistance. Breakfast was no longer offered during our stay as we were so late in the month (Oct 21-25) but the coffee maker (Nespresso!) and refrigerator allowed us to have a quick breakfast and late afternoon snacks in our room. Highly recommend!

The hotel was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic! Close to the beach and the main Street! Plenty of food and shopping options nearby! My only complaint would be the walls were a little thin but beyond that I had a fabulous stay and would happily stay again!

Very disappointed. I was looking forward to staying. The room is modern but not cleaned well. Dirty bin and hairs on bedding and draws. Balcony too small to sit on and looks onto waste land. Toiletries not as advertised but replaced with cheap ones Waking up first day to no electricity so mobile not charged. Went down to breakfast which is in the basement. Very dark and depressing only coffee in large urn Tasted like watered down marmite The breakfast items were mostly dry and tasted cheap from a low brand supermarket Only nice thing was the Greek yoghurt. No hot food or other coffee as no electricity I was told fixed in 30 mins that was 2 hours ago I was cold and unable to charge mobile so had to go find a cafe that could charge and get warm as it was heavy rain and cold and wet from walking. This then made me ill that night and spent the night in bed feeling run down. I paid alot to stay here and feel that I did not get what I paid for. I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel did not say sorry or offer good will.

Beautiful and well decorated hotel. Close to the action (Kastro). Very good breakfast buffet with home cooked dishes. Very much enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Polis. The location is excellent. Close to town and to the beach. The room was incredibly clean and modern. The breakfast had a ton of choice and the staff were very helpful.

I loved the view from our deck and the location was walkable to the Port and the St George beach. We enjoyed our stay at the Polis. As all the other reviews state the shower was great, beds great but we did not eat the breakfast because we were off and hiking early each day

Beautiful boutique hotel. Comfortable and clean lobby. Family run - everyone was super helpful and polite. Great location for walking to the port or to the beach. Room was comfortable and décor was very updated and modern. Id stay there again.

Yannis and his father took care of me very well. The hotel is beautiful, clean and spotless. Most of all it was near the ferry port and the shopping as well as the museum and Apollo’s Entryway ruins. I will definitely return to this hotel again.

Naxos was such a nice spot for us. We arrived by ferry and found our was to the hotel. It is a walk from the docks with luggage but there is lots to see on the way. We did get some conflicting locations for the hotel. It is not waterfront, but that is part of its charm. We got a very warm and friendly reception from the family running the hotel. Great recommendations on restaurants, but we came away really impressed with the quality and services for food in town. Very good value wherever we stopped. The room was a concern initially because we overlooked the busy street but traffic dropped to a very low level and was not a concern. We left the balcony open the first night and heard a local rooster at 6. Closing the door made the room quiet. AC worked very well. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Try the fresh cheese pie . Staff came around with food right out of the oven and it was awesome. We were sad to leave. While it was a short walk into town, we ended up meeting and talking to several merchants who were quite interesting. We felt like we were part of the hotel family and even the walk in ws very friendly. We use the local laundry and they gave good reasonably priced service. I would go back your Polis Boutique Hotel in a heartbeat.

This boutique hotel was such a pleasant surprise. Our biggest regret for our travels through the Cyclades was not staying longer at this hotel. It is awesome.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and the centre of town. The owners were very friendly and informative on things to see and do. This is a modern boutique hotel as you can see in the photos. i would recommend this to all and return myself and stay here.

A very well appointed hotel in a great location. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Guests are made to feel welcome and everything is within walking distance. It could not be better for spending a few days in Naxos

Yannis the owner and his brother checked me in and were very welcoming! I'm a female solo traveler and really enjoyed the knowledge they had about their country and they made me feel Very comfortable! Yannis also driove me back to the port. The hotel is modern and stylishishly designed! Minimal but fun! Beds and bedding was good and the bathroom was modern too Enjoyed my stay there would def visit again

This hotel is absolute perfection! The hotel is owned and managed by a really great family that makes sure that every detail is taken care of and that their guests are happy. The rooms are modern with little balconies and have new super comfortable beds! The location is in a very quite area just 5 minutes walk from the center.

The hotel was very comfortable, it was newly refurbished with modern facilities. The bathroom had constant hot water and shower facilities was to our liking. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was very efficient. The room was cleaned everyday with essentials supplied everyday. The staff were very friendly and available to fulfill your requests. They also supplied beach towels. on our departure they gave us a lift to the ferry although we could have walked it. The hotel's location was on a quiet road yet the beach, cafes,and restaurants were few minutes away.
