Very cute hotel with an excellent breakfast and rest area, cute garden and very friendly and helpful staff. Not that far from the center, many shops and markets around. The only négative point is there is no heat in the room. We recommand this place in Cusco!

We had a nice stay at the hotel, because staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well provided, and our room daily serviced which we appreciated greatly. We felt safe and secure in the hotel , and we recommend others to stay.

The staff is very nice and friendly. However, there was an issue with the hot water in our room. The hot water only ran for a few minutes and we had to take a shower using the super cold water. There was no AC as well and the room was quite cold. There was no the hand tower and floor tower offered in the room for the first night we stayed.

The hotel is fine but the property is quite cold.

This property was as described when I booked. The staff were amazing very helpful. There was always someone who knew enough English for my needs and queries to be met. The breakfast each day was great. My only concern was the room didn’t have heating.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help, but the property has many defects. Our room was near the stairs and was noisy and with intermittent bothering lights. The mattress was a real mess. Overall, I will not recommend this place.

The staff was very courteous and helpful every step of the way. The main dining area and patio is beautiful. The location is not central but still has plenty of shops and restaurants around. 20 minute walk gets you into the centre. The rooms are not soundproof and there is some machine noise that goes on all night, also you can hear noise from corridor and hallways easily. I had trouble sleeping because of that. Also no window in room which made it very dark.

Illas inn First of all, I don’t understand how this place has 4 stars. This is a whole on the wall hotel. The rooms are extremely cold, no blackout drapes, not enough towels or toilet paper, noisy, the tv was not working. The breakfast was “very basic” and was not full ready at 7:00am like they mention. The people were nice and educated but, Was not a pleasant stay, I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone

I stayed at Illas Inn three times during my three weeks in Cusco, as i was traveling around and coming back to Cusco each time, so had three different reservations. Each time my stay in this hotel was great, tge breakfast delicious, the neighborhoods perfect and a walking distance from all important places of the center, check in and check out process easy and quick, the staff always accommodating and smiling, every resquest i had was met with readiness and kindness (each time i left i needed to leave my suitcase behind, for example; or the last time i wanted to check out several hours later than the check out time - it was done very readily and for a minimum fee). I'll absolutely stay in this hotel when visiting Cusco again :)

Has a garden, close to train station, staff is very kind its close to down town (15 min walk) and close to the airport (20 min drive)

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming however, they were not accommodating about having coffee available earlier in the morning. Their breakfast starts at 6:30/7am and we asked if they could have coffee for us at 6 am and they couldn't accommodate it. They did not have hair dryers available either. Check in is at 12pm and our room was not available until about 12:30, they were aware we needed to check in asap because we had a tour scheduled and we had to ask them at 12:20 again about our room, even though we were in their waiting area. The location is nice and walkable.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much! First of all, its conveniently located, walkable distance from so many touristic spots. The stuff was just lovely, incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to answer any question and to help and even suggest where to go, always there at the front desk at every hour, always smiling :) The breakfast was deliciously simple and fulfilling. The only problem for me was the shower - the water kept changing from hot to cold and the other way around. Which wasnt really bad, just didnt make one wish to prolong the shower ;) All in all, I'll absolutely stay there again

Illa's inn offered excellent hospitality and service. The location is pretty strategic as it's within 3 mins walking distance to the Wanchaq station, so no taxi needed when you are heading to Machu Picchu early in the morning or late in the evening. The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. Gave us the name to an awesome restaurant called La Quinta Cocina Peruana. For its price, the bedroom was decent. We had the 2 twin beds because thats all available when booking but it had a private bathroom, with nice hot water. The breakfast was good. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, juice, coffee and milk.

The location of the hotel is not good. It is about a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Cusco. Every departure from the hotel usually requires a taxi ride. I stayed in a single room, without a window or ventilation. No air conditioning or heating. There were no power points to charge the phone next to the bed, no wardrobe, the water in the shower takes a long time to warm up and when a guest in another room takes a shower the water becomes cold again. The breakfast is minimal, the service is very kind. No hairdryer available for all rooms, I had to go out in the cold with wet hair! The only great advantage of the hotel is that you can extend check-out for $10 and get organized and shower before the flight in the room. I do not recommend the hotel for stays longer than 2 nights...

The hotel has good security and was walking distance into the historic area of Cusco The rooms were large and the beds comfortable although I did find mine cold at night. Staff were very helpful and friendly which is always a good thing when travelling to a country where there is a language barrier.

Hotel desk staff is very nice and helpful. bed was confortable, there was a tv but not cable, i cannot confirm if it allowed casting. Hot water sometimes took a couple minutes of running water to come on, only once was it just tepid. There is an outdoor patio and a small gym that has a bench press, 2 dumbbells, punching bad, and some adjustable weights. There is a lat pulldown and chest fly universal but the weights stuck. Hotel is about a 15 min walk to plaza de armas, 10-15 min drive from the airport. I only had the breakfast one day which was fried or hard boiled eggs, bread, a lemon cake, acocado slices, cheese, ham, yogurt, juice, coffee and teas. There are also coca leaves if needed. I would recommend.

This property suited our needs. Nice hotel with lift and breakfast. The negative was no fridge or aircon. Reasonable size room. The hidden bonus were the reception staff. Very very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place.
